Hi Gary, Great end of season tour! I spent the morning adding PEX tubing hoops to six of my raised beds. I need to do it to three more, but ran out of PEX and ½ inch straps. I have more PEX on order, and will pick up more tubing straps the next time I’m in town. I might pick up some broccoli transplants too. It is late to start more from seed in my area, south of Sylacauga, AL in the country. I sowed a few more Pak Choi and parsnip seeds this morning. So far, my fall garden is off to a great start. I have parsnips (an experiment), Danvers Carrots, Detroit Dark Red Beets, Purple Top Turnips, red cabbage, Dutch Cabbage, Rainbow Swiss Chard, Nappa Cabbage, Komatsuna, Tatsoi, Yellow Heart Winter Choy, broccoli, cauliflower, and Pak Choi growing. Next spring, I will have seven additional raised beds that I can cover with netting or plastic, so I’ll have a lot more garden space to plant in, as if I don’t already grow too much, but I’ll have two new neighbors to feed.
Appreciated. The Rusted Garden Vegetable Seeds & Home Garden Supplies: www.therustedgarden.com Earn 15% and become a TRG Affiliate for our seed & garden shop Sign Up Here: bit.ly/4aarkDD
So got some green beans, kale, few radishes, tomatoes have not turned red yet. No zucchini at all, very disappointed! Compost is going great, love this rain!
I enjoy your channel and I have a question. Why aren’t you cutting out the dead leaves from your discounted plants. I was told that it needs to be cut back so all the energy goes to the new growth. Is this a good thing to do?

I was going to say... you already have a lot going on. I let parsnips flowers for insects and they turned to seed. I have parsnips everywhere now.
Hi Gary your The best.😊
Appreciated.

When talking about planting your peppers in submerged, black nursery pots, what did you mean by “cutting out half of the bottom”?
of the container. If you look up sunken container garden on my channel, you will find an entire build video or 2. Cheers
