As a claustrophobic person, I dreaded my 1st MRI. Chose relazing music and enjoyed the solitude. Crazy, but I've had 3 more without any fear. I think you are making a great choice in having the hip replacement.
This is what life is all about, enjoying family. I had all that growing up but my kids don’t have that unfortunately, mainly because I moved across the Atlantic when I was 19 (I’m now 58) and my sisters grew distant with me over the years and now my nieces & nephews are also. In fact ever since we lost our Mum 9 years ago they are not in touch with me at all. My ex was never close to his family and he didn’t have a big family like I did….I only had 2 daughters because like you Jared I have had chronic pain in my hips and back and even though I have had 2 back surgeries the pain is now worse in my hips and I have been told I need more surgery which I’m very hesitant about at my age so I manage the best I can by going to yoga and walking but even walking lately causes me a great deal of pain…

Hi Jared , bless you , MRI scans are horrid . I cried so hard through my last one . Just having to be still when you are in pain with the noise of the mri sucks . Loved this vlog though ,so lovely x
Tommy seems to be the kindest most genuine kid as do all the others, Tommy looks a lot like both his grandpa's
I’ve known many people with hip replacements and they said the pain is almost instantly better!!! Hoping you get this done to relieve your body!

When you go to glacier make sure you buy the Going to the Sun Road tickets 24hrs before. Its the main road and unless you have a ticket or a campground reservation you can't take the road!! I made that mistake, its so beautiful there you'll love it!

We live 25 minutes from Glacier National Park. When I heard Ellie say she the family was heading to Glacier, I paused and thought “we live there” haha. I hope you all have fun and enjoy your trip. If you are looking for rocks, think also of Phillipsburg, MT. There are sapphire mines that you can dig and sift through.

Ellie, try Chocolate Covered Katie. She has a lot of vegan baking recipes and different alternative flours. You might find a cookie or bread you love. I have found a few gems there.
Jared, if your hip needs replacing, I wish for you the same relief and recovery I’ve had with both my hip replacements.
Spray paint the umbrella stands gold to match better! Also carbonated water never tastes as good as you thinking it will at first but you get used to it, just remember it’s water and not a juice! Some recommendations la Croix pamplemousse or tangerine and trader joe’s lime sparkling water!

Get the hip replacement. I've had three. The second one was one of those faulty one. The third one was the best. Replacement hardware and surgeries have come so.
Jared try other flavors of bubbly before giving up, I personally don't really care for the lemon-lime one (green can).. but the other flavors are better in my opinion
