damn this could be an hour long and i would still watch it without pause, Baseck is such an inspiration. his 'demo' on the octatrack for perfect circuit and the digitone set on his channel are always playing in my house. big up homie
my brother!!
I love how everyone's desert rave photos from the 90s all have that granular look to them.
The lighting was never what the camera maker's had in mind :D
So much dust 😅
Baseck is an inspiration machine. Every time I watch him do a set I have to go make my own music immediately.
Baseck is crazy talented, big ups to him keeping the culture alive and the sounds fresh

Darkmatter Soundsystem represent!
Shout out to FastTracker II! That's how I got my start, too 🖤
me too!
So true about the hindrance of having more than one machine. I've gone through so many set ups, buying and selling stuff. But now I've landed on just Syntakt (and a Prophet Rev 2 for polyphonic patches... My biggest problem with Syntakt 😢) but it's liberating having just one groovebox/drum machine to focus in on. ❤️🔥
But he does have a massive studio..so I think it's both ends. Have a ton of stuff to work with, but be prepared to zero in on one thing, thats' what I've found, even though I have a lot less than him, but definitely a lot more than just one or two devices.
🐐
Saw Baseck in a warehouse rave near skid row a few years ago. So fucking unbelievably hard!
I miss his Eurorack performances! That Malekko +BIA time was great ❤
My boy 🥹
Illest king of tight beats❤
Can def hear your 90s rave scene influence.
I remember when I heard dnb (was jungle back then).. was prob 1996. Didn’t really like electronic music til I heard dnb. Been a drummer for life so those drums really grabbed me by the balls. Thought this is the coolest thing I ever heard ever. Here we are almost 30 or so years later .. still bangin dnb. Moved over to
Techno when techno got hard and industrial with Reese bases and shit. But still
Respect and love from Chi town
👊
Noice !
Great inspiration! If I where him I would invest into high class speakers
I remember when it was just a Tempest..🙂❤️
Clicked on the video just because of the Cavalera shirt, I got the same one from their concert. lol
Wow never knew Pauly shore did music😮
What is that light bar that dances at the top of his rytm
Baseck is awesome! Is the song around 2’ release somewhere plz?
Yo Baseck, our gear doesn't overlap much, but I see you have a E-mu orbit v2. What a bitch to try and program a patch on that 90's UI. Yet fun to play with the right controller.
