I've done this ride in these conditions!!! Its just so nerve wracking... I almost peed myself when I saw that car pop up in front of you!!!! Good choice to have pulled off for a while. Whew!!
I've been up there in conditions like that. It got so bad I could absolutely see nothing. I was terrified someone was going to run in to the back of me. We got off the mountain and counted our blessings.

Scary stuff. At least you're together. It is even miserable when you can't get home, knowing someone is waiting on you.

Lack of visibility on the Parkway has to be terrifying. Beautiful place to ride but very easy to go off a cliff if not careful.
