In LotFP there are no ability requisites for classes. So your cleric could have really bad WIS and its not an issue. So you don't need high WIS for clerics, or INT for M-Us.
Nice video. Plus i watched some of the old school stuff and i have to say, what a blast from the past *g* One day i would love to watch you and the guys play BECMI D&D in the modern days.. like "roleplaying like its '83 again" kind of stuff. that would be a hell of a video(-series) to watch.
@@BillAllanWorld You are welcome! Any chance of videis on the optional classes in other LotFP books or videos on the demi-human classes such as elf, dwarf, or mushroom man?
so are you gonna be playing this game on youtube? I would be interested in seeing how newcomers react to OSR games. Also if you are familliar with it you could chuck DCC rpg at some newbs, thatll be fun!
Thank you for letting me know. I actually didn't change the ad settings, so I will need to look into why there are so many more happening with this video.

Great video. Thanks for making it.
Attract undead might be used to lure the undead into a trap like a moat, clearing the way...
Yes! Another good thought!
Luring them into a room with 2 solid lockable doors might work too.

Playing a level 5 cleric currently in a campaign and I love using the reverse effects of the healing spells like cause wounds
Check out the game "Machinations of the Space Princess."
I like the wording of OSR games, precise and yet open to interpretation
yes
This was super helpful. I hope you'll do more of these videos on the near future. You got a new subscriber out of this.
Awesome, thank you!

I think the wisdom throw affects saving throws for/from the cleric, defense and offense
Good point! I need to brush up on my LotFP rules.
Gotta have that heal

Yes

Great video, but way too many ads. As in, it is nearly unwatchable. Other than that it is a great summation of the cleric spells from LotFP.

The Cleric turning roll is a 2d6 rather than a 1d20, so mechanically adding the raw Wis modifier is just too much of a bonus.
Maybe add half Wis bonus?
@@drjobygax Maybe. Alternatively maybe only apply the modifier to the total number turned and not the to-turn roll.
