I did this musical four years ago. It was very bittersweet for me, the bitter parts mostly over taking the sweet parts. But I might be doing it again next year, which will be a great opportunity to replace the bad memories. But as of right now, listening to the soundtrack makes me sad lmao
So i read that the reason they don't have this show on broadway anymore is because the show had poor ticket sales. Now i ask, how? How did such an amazing breathtaking masterpiece such as this GET POOR FREAKING TICKET SALES???? 😠😠😡😡
Tbh what works on screen doesn't necessarily make it a great play. This had some great effects and some beautiful moments. Overall it was meh though. It's a guilty pleasure for me.

The musical began previews on Broadway 🎭 on March 24, 2006, and officially opened at the Richard Rodgers Theatre 🎭 in on May 10, making it the only Disney Theatrical Production without an out- of town tryout. Bob Crowley designed the sets and constumes and directed the original Broadway production; choreography was by Meryl Tankard and lighting by Natasha Katz. Danton Burroughs, grandson of Edgar Rice Burroughs, attended the opening night party 🎉, as did Phil Collins. Due to poor ticket 🎫 sales, the show closed on July 8, 2007 after 35 previews and 486 performances. The musical follows the plot of the Disney film 🎞, with a few minor changes. Terk, who was a female in the film 🎞, is a male in the musical, and Tantor the elephant 🐘, a major character in the film 🎞, is absent from the musical. Richard Rodger Theatre 🎭 on Broadway Show really good morning hope your day has worked great 👍🏼 last season is that a wonderful thing about to be in this world 🌎 here on my destiny an adventure fantasy.
@@everettloucks3304 honestly i was very young when i saw this on broadway, and while i did love the show i feel like it lacked something in comparison to other staple shows of broadway. the longevity of it didn't feel existent, same with shrek the musical. they were really well done though.
Last part :No words describe a mother's tears No words can heal a broken heart A dream is gone, but where there's hope Somewhere something is calling for you Two worlds, one family Trust your heart Let fate decide To guide these lives we

This is clearly kala at the start when she finds tarzan as a baby for god sake people why do u think u hear the baby cry in the middle of it this is her singing before she finds him :)
The voice singing is actually Tarzan's biological father. He sings 'THEY live in peace' (they = the animals) because he's talking about the gorillas and how they're unharmed by humans. It isn't Kala singing, but other productions excluding Broadway may change the soloist parts around.
Being homosexual has nothing to do with the sound of your voice. Yes he has an amazing voice, but it doesn't matter what his sexual preference is. He loves music just as much as everyone listening to this does, and that's all that should matter.
Amazing. Such an underrated show! I love it. Tarzan is one of my favorite movies.

Put your faith in what you most believe me
Two worlds, one family
Trust your heart
Let fate decide
To guide these lives we see
A paradise untouched by man
Within this world blessed with love

Softly tread the sand below your feet now
Two worlds, one family

Raise your head up
Lift high the load
Take strength from those that need you
Build higher walls
Build stronger beams
A new life is waiting
But danger's no stranger here
No words described a mother's tears
No words can heal a broken heart
The dream is gone, but then there's hope

It's New York They don't like fictional things like Tarzan and I don't know how Aladdin and Lion King are still on broadway

This is the Broadway version of the song. Kala sang You'll Be in My Heart in the movie and I'm guessing in the Broadway version too.
*Two worlds brought to one family*

Maybe its a joke, because in different to other Disney Movies Phil Collins sing all these songs and maybe he did it in the musical also.
