Unfortunately I don’t think rabbits have cell phones just yet or even access to the internet to know this information, i imagine they’d be in for real shock
The way the mom coordinates with the baby is pretty amazing. Its really some tactical level maneuvering. The mom is really cool and badass the way shes so active throughout all of this.
Robert Fuller's work is amazing. If you are not watching his channel, you should! It's in the description for this short. This was such a heart-warming look into lives we'd normally never see.
I've noticed big rabbits have a lot of courage they're not scared of all these predators I love rabbits I have about a family of 6 rabbits living in my backyard I always protect them
I love rabbits too!! I have two of my own and I had them outside one day and a crow tried to grab them bc (they were still babies) and me and my dog chased it off!! I never brought my rabbits outside again bc I want them to stay safe. ❤❤❤
Hares are much feistier than rabbits. They’ll do what they need to, to protect themselves and their family. They’re very brave for someone who’s so small and a meal to almost everything
And I thought I was the only one. We try to protect the rabbits around our house. We have a bunny cemetery as some don't make it. Cats are the worst😢😢😢
@@leahheappYeah, I took a video years ago of a pair throwing hands in my backyard. I've noticed they can get really territorial. Any time I have more than one eating my grass, they always seem to be wary of one another.
@xsotic1792 sheep can be terrible mothers I've seen raptors and storks either throw them out or let one of the others eat the little ones while mum looked on . At the end of the day , I guess it's all about survival
Yeah, go watch what happens in the dairy industry.. babies taken from the mothers only hours after they're born so that humans can steal the milk. Cows cry out for weeks to get their babies back. All so someone can have some stupid cheese to sprinkle on nachos or a milkshake.
@@NiSiochainGanSaoirse Don’t be so pessimistic, the same applies for anyone who gets into a motor vehicle. Even crossing the road as you can’t control what drivers do.
That's a well caring mother! She fought off two predators, both can be potential dangerous and even deadly for herself es well. The baby seems to be really good protected!
It IS absolute magic, sir, and we have YOU to thank for it! I can't thank you enough, you have no idea how much your clips/videos brighten my sad, housebound day. Love from Toronto, Ontario, Canada!
For those who wonder why the owl is scared, is because predators tend to be reluctant of getting hurt since it can mean they will not find food, and the Hare might me able to bite or scratch the wings of the owl.
Hares are badass. Their young are born super mature (in comparison to rabbits), eyes and ears open, and fully-haired. Moms generally hide all of their young in individual spots, and they're expected to forage almost immediately, with mom only returning to nurse 1-2x per day. After around 4-5 DAYS(!), they're left to fend for themselves. It takes rabbits around 3 weeks to reach approximately the same maturity level. They're born blind, deaf, and completely hairless, and can barely move for the first week. I just think it's cool how they can look so similar, but differ in so many significant ways.
I love Robert fuller and his team and family. Watching their loves video cams ate amazing, especially when they have babies in the wild. I wiuld recommend for all nature lovers, watch the amazing nature we have in our beautiful wildlife PLaces in the UK. ❤❤❤
WOW 😮! That's One Bad-Ass Mama Hare!!! She Wasn't Having The Owl Mess With Her Baby!!! Blessings To ALL Mama's Who Kick Butt For Their Babies.❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏💪💪💪📛🕊️🕊️😘💞💓💕🌹🌹🌹🌺🌺🌺🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🗽‼️
Mother Nature is truly amazing! I live in the city and a couple of weeks ago a huge hawk flew into my backyard and sat there w/it’s wings spread. I thought it was hurt, so I went out to chk it. Got within 2 ft. and it flew off w/a small bunny in it’s talons! 🥺 Now my cat is NOT going in the backyard ever again!! But that hawk was gorgeous!
😊🐱🐶... Hope they are safe and live with happiness, because they deserves it. Wish them happy, healthy, safe, smile, and full of food and love everyday. Live with lovely people in the beautiful place. And found forever home and love. ^^
Lmao when he said tawny owl it sounded like he said a toenial spots it and makes a grab for it. Hahaha. It took me a second to realize he said tawny owl.

Never mess with a baby and mama of any species unless you want to find out... and no guarantees you'll live to find out
Cuckoos would like to have a word with you
These guys progressed fast from documenting saving animals to national geographic.
Depends on how big the predator is, a wolf will eat them both
Unfortunately I don’t think rabbits have cell phones just yet or even access to the internet to know this information, i imagine they’d be in for real shock

I think this man probably appreciates his own mother and thus can relate to their relationship

This makes me think of the rabbits in “Watership Down” when one - I think it was BigWig - fights off a cat and becomes a legend
Hares and rabbits are different species, they are barely related even

Rabbits and lots of small mammals literally eat their young but ok flowerchild
I'm so glad the Mama and baby are okay.
they'll face the same threats the next night, and the night after, and the night after that...

With how vicious stoats are for the hunt, I never would have thought a hare could fend one off.
Imagine knowing that you have to fight for your life every day. No sense of peace. Always on the alert.
Fuller does such incredible work.
Courageous and amazing mom, and a resilient little baby! So glad they're both ok. ❤

Cute. I have the bravest little young bunny in my yard this year. It better watch out for the neighborhood red-tailed Hawk family…
