Taj can play any genre. Natural gift. His family esp his Dad is the wind beneath his wings and one who guides n protects. Taj projects the feeling with every tune. Can't be in the world of music and not being turned on & tuned in by Taj. Love him and the Divine Gift he shares. Geez, when I was 10, tired to force Ken to move n sing like Elvis while Barbie screamed, danced and fainted but I kept pulling their limbs out of socket.
He just bought his sister a Tama drum kit phenomenal talent. Great teacher.

Happy belated B-day Taj . So many people are in awe with your talent . My father included . He played guitar for like ever . The fingers on his left hand are now molded into the shape of a E cord or whatever . He knows a lot about music to .... Listening an watching you play puts a smile on my face an also a tear once in a while . You are so lucky to be able to pursue what I call " The waking dream"..

I watched this video so often now. One of the best reaction i ever seen. HE IS TEN! Can you believe it? Taj blow me away every time this kid is so amazing and he worked hard to get that skills. As a big fan of gary moore i am sure he would be proud of taj. Damn that kid playd on stage with Santana with 11 or 12. How crazy is this?
And once again i came back here to watch you two guys been so impressed. He is (was) TEN :)) He does not upload as much as at that time but he announced this week he goes on tour soon. Check out if it's not sold out. At the moment he is more into acoustic guitar and singing. But he posted a solo medly that was great.

There are a lot of kids with this level of talent. In 2023, I'd be interested in learning what original scores he has.
While you're correct in theory, there's a difference between talent and being creative and having that natural soul.
He had 2 songs hit #1 on the blues charts this year. His originals Crossroads and Cruz. He's working on his album now and it should be out this spring.

They got together in rock n roll heaven and chose just the right soul, shoved all their talent to in one huge lightening bolt and sent it down to Taj. Now they look down, look at each other and nod their heads, then set back and listen. I like that. Taj is the music. Coolest kiddo there is!

Ive been watching Taj for quite a while now and your reactions are pretty much how i look when i see him. Ive been playing for over 40 years and he never ceases to amaze me !!...living proof of what can happen if you get a guitar before you discover women !!😂😂😂
We all process information a little differently, he is a classic example of a child prodigy, it just comes easy. Most successful guitarist, musicians will tell you, those that are honest, they practiced 8-10 hours a day for years before having the skill level to play professionally, then there is this kid.

Wonderful performance of an incredibly moving and most-heartfelt song. When I was 10/11 I was too busy trying and ultimately failing to outrun a school-full of bullies and ye olde regular verbal takedowns, to ever even consider picking up a cardboard or tennis racquet guitar let alone the glorious SG! This dude is a credit to the instrument and I'm sure that Moore and Lynott are smiling down from up high with beaming pride! P.S. the long-absent John Sykes recorded an excellent vocal cover of this tune for a Gary Moore tribute album a couple of years back. Also well worth checking out at your leisure.

Simply because it's amazing to see such a young kid doing what he's made to do and what he loves to do. I didn't get that encouragement from my parents, and he obviously is. It's a beautiful thing. 🤘
Darrin. I don't know the answer to your question, but he does it to me everytime. This from a 63yo rocker from the 70's. Soul from the dead masters, is the closest I can think of.

This is my 2nd time watching your channel the first time you had Foxes and Fossil on singing CSN cover. they are a great group of singers . Wow this a young Gary Moore reincarnated
however its kind of like watching Darek Trucks opening for the Allman Brothers at age 14. (and Derek's guitar of choice was an SG as well). The young boy may be a musical savant bc his talent is off the chart for age 10. {As an added note: Joe Bonamassa started opening for B B King at age 12) There is no doubt in my mind that he could do the same. See the Jimmy Hendrix poster on the wall+ 4 more guitars in the room and a pedal board that is not visible.....and 3 or 4 Friedmann amps. Definitely not a deprived child. How does it feel to be just ordinary? I think I am a candidate for psycho-therapy after watching this phenominal child.

If you havent noticed jet, check out the young Guitarist Toby Lee from england. He startet early as taj and is about 16 or someting now. Was on stage with famous musicians. He is a great guitarist
