Thanks for your efforts. As a 46 year Proper motor car owner ( 7 RRS & 6 Bentleys) Bentley is for the man who doesn't need to prove anything or the man who won the war but doesn't have to wear the Medals. I have both a 1958 Silver Cloud & a 1989 Bentley Turbo RL. Both great cars but the Turbo performance of the Bentley & firmer suspension & better handling compared to a Silver Spur have a lot more appeal to me.
An extraordinarily beautiful Rolls-Royce in an extraordinarily beautiful color, all shown with the most beautiful piece of music ever created as the background music (by the amazing Brian Eno)! I am in heaven. A wonderful video indeed. Thank you so much. And thank you for the shout out concerning suicide prevention and being kind to one's neighbors.
Gorgeous 😍 car , great video 📹 as usual. I used to own silver shadow and had a 1982 silver spirit. Looking forward to getting another when I'm semi retired in around 4 years all being well. Keep up the videos 📹 👏 👌
My Spur is an '84 and they're absolutely fine. One of those looks like the engine oil light though mine has a button on the dash to check oil level while on the move. Not sure if it's still there on later versions.
@@cormaconcars4224 He just loved using it, and by cruising at lower speeds got to sit in it for longer too! He wasn't a lane hog or anything, and was good at making it easy for HGV's to overtake him. He never got below 50 TBF. He also never had to get a brake job, and changed the brake and suspension fluids every two years.
The most unreliable car ever made but thats why we love them. If you take one out to dinner you and your date better bring sneakers because you might be walking home
Actually the most unreliable car was the Rover 3500 SD1. I had one as I wanted a smart hatchback to go with my Silver Cloud III. In 12 months the Rover went back 11 times. The hatchback popped open if the window was open, it wouldn't start if it rained and the heating system packed up a month out of warranty.
@@michaelmontagu3979 No, the V8 was pretty much bulletproof. The 2.3 and 2.6 engines self destructed, some even when they were driven off the transporter at the dealer.

I'm glad I had to repaint my 1983 spirit glad it had no ABS, no airbag non synthetic mineral oil system with fuel pump fuse flaw and it was refurbished I the 1990s. ruclips.net/video/bkMU7jU2-Rg/видео.html the paint at the beginning you see the multicolor 5 way metallic 🌈 rainbow finish. See for me the Bentley isn’t as special and is a more firmer ride than the rolls Royce. The turbo Rl is a lovely car but Rolls-Royce is more special
Everyone has their opinions, a car is for whoever drives it, Bentleys are the poorer brother in my opinion, that chickenwire grille is just ugly.
The wirework grille was on a few extra sporting models. Most have the bars, a rounded version of the Rolls-Royce front. @@SilasChapman
I like your style. I've owned a 1965 Silver Cloud III since 1982, as only the second owner. Better by far than anything in the current range.
Gentleman, I feel that these cars are special and represent a time that will never be again.

Ah that’s amazing, the silver spirit and shadow are amazing cars, looking forward to seeing your new Rolls-Royce
🤗 I think this Silver Spur mark II, has to be one of the very best examples I have ever seen. A truly well cared for car Beautiful....
I totally agree with you, this is in fantastic condition
Good job, Cormac! Thanks for posting.
Aww thanks Edward, much appreciated
Interesting review. A very well looked after and cherished car. It's so nice to listen to fellow enthusiasts talk about their cars.
It sure is an amazing car glad you enjoyed the video, I will be back driving in my next video.

Aww thanks mate, I really appreciate that
Seems to have a few warning lights on the dash
They can be tempormental they are old cars

If they still made that shape today with upgraded systems it would be a great car.
Where do we find John bowling
John bowling is based in Manchester I would highly recommend them 👍
Sad the camera operator missed him lifting the ornament back up!!!
Light metallic blue and cream coloured seats is a winning combination
It a stunning looking car
It’s a lovely car!
My uncle drove his injection version like a queen and averaged 21 mpg.
That’s very good for that, I was getting a little bit less than that 👍

@@ChrisPatrick-q6k I think that they drive better about 80mph, I know what you mean about driving them fastidiously. It’s the best thing to do….

😂😂😂 I love them too much, to be honest you are right on that not the most reliable car in the world 👍
