If it's showing a different address then you are looking at a different wallet and you have to use the passphrase of the other wallet you initially created. It varies. For some people, it takes only a few minutes, and for others, it might take months to verify their documents properly. It depends a lot on whether the data in your profile matches your ID 100% and how clean/clear the video/liveness check is you have to record during the KYC verification.

Obviously coins that are already in your old wallet stay there unless you manually transfer them to your new wallet. Besides that, don't forget to also update your mainnet checklist and add your new wallet there to receive future migrations into your new wallet.
If you joined in year one already, you likely have at least 1,000 Pi. That's $250, which you'd get just by pressing a button once daily. That's based on the current value I know of, and I don't consider future development of Pi's value based on supply and demand. Personally, I got $60 worth of studio equipment three years ago for around 5 Pi as shown in ruclips.net/video/tiGCVkO24Bs/видео.html& And two Xbox games worth a bit more than $100 last year, as shown in ruclips.net/video/iUbqXhDN-cc/видео.html& So, I got around $160 worth of stuff just for pressing a button once per day, which I don't consider bad at all.
Mhm, I'm not sure what the reason for this could be. Maybe ask at reddit.com/r/PiNetwork and, if possible, include a screenshot of any error you get (if there is one shown).
I have future migration scheduled nextyear, it is set to be transferred to my old wallet, but it was compromised, so i created a new one and confirmed on the checklist, so the future migration that is set to be Nextyear will now go to the new waller right that I created?
What if I made a new wallet and then found my passcode to the old wallet with my migrated pi inside. How do I restore my old wallet and get rid of the new one on my pi account?
Just update your mainnet checklist again with the details of the old wallet to ensure coins from future migrations also go to that wallet. You can't "get rid of" the new wallet, however, since wallets can't be deleted, but if you don't use it, it will just be an empty wallet that has no impact on your account.
Every user has 14 days to update the name in their profile and ensure it's correct after signing up. If those 14 days are over, I'm afraid you won't be able to, but just to be sure, best ask in reddit.com/r/PiNetwork
can i screen shot my passphrase and keep it in my phone gallery without running the risk of being revealed to scammers by an app i installed in my phone. Please i need your honest answer
Probably, but the best way to back it up is to write it down somewhere safe, and the second best, IMHO, is to store it in a password manager like 1Password.

You can't. Use another device to create a new wallet, then send any coins you have to that wallet, update your migration checklist with the new wallet address, and once any lockup you have expires, send those coins as well and only then completely log out from your wallet and log in to the new wallet on your device.

Heyy i have a doubt Suppose i forgot my old wallet Passphrase and then created a new wallet but then after 2-3 months i somehow get access to my old wallet Passphrase can i still log in or acces that wallet ???
Hello. my balance migrated to mainnet. but at the start of mining I set blocks. I didn’t know that they would start from the moment the coins were transferred to the wallet. Is it possible to somehow unlock them? blocking until 2027.
No. You'll have to wait for it to unlock. On the bright side, if the project succeeds, those coins will be worth much more in three years than they are now. Don't forget to update your lockup settings accordingly for future migrations.
one more question. Tell me please. Your wife’s pi network account has been in her pi network account for over a year now, the status of your application to kyc has been sent. Is there any way to speed up the check?
Sadly, no. You just have to wait for the KYC verification to either finally get approved, denied, or for a notification that asks you for additional data.
Pi that haven't yet been transferred will be transferred to the new wallet once you update both steps in the mainnet checklist. Pi that are already in your current wallet and are locked will stay there; you will have to transfer them to your new wallet once they unlock manually if you still have access to that wallet. If you don't have access anymore, then any Pi already in that wallet are lost.

bro my wallet is created today my question is unverified balance is 6000 coins transferable is 2000 as my coins yet to migrate so how much and when will i receive the first migrate coins in my wallet and if i receive 2000 coind i have set it for 3y 90% so after receiving the first coins can i change that settings and most of my balance is still in unverified balance 5 of my refers are not mining so if they complete kyc when will i get those as verified then will my next settings will be updated when 2nd time of migration like 2 weeks
You first receive your "transferable" portion once the team initiates the next migration. Yes, once the first migration happens, you can update the lockup settings, as shown in ruclips.net/video/DK-uH4xNN_Y/видео.html& , and the coins in the next migration will then use the new setting. Pi earned through referrals will still take some time. Only if the users complete KYC can you get those and the team still has to run the calculations for that, which will only happen when a "bigger" percentage of users completed KYC.
@@ChristianRauchenwald ok tq man but 10 out of 2 people of my refer were already completed kyc and remaining members are not active and not eligible for kyc so will pi burn bonus i have earned so i m happy if they atleast 2 to 3k out of 6k in unverified balance of me
You get whatever share comes from referrals and security circle members who passed KYC. Coins from users that didn't pass KYC will eventually be added back to the mining supply.

Even if you are lucky and you haven't backed up the last word, it will still take you a lot of time since there are 2,025 possible words (2,048 minus the 23 you still know). You can find the full list at, for example, www.blockplate.com/pages/bip-39-wordlist?
You can not change your passphrase, which is a permanent key to access one specific wallet. As explained in the video, you'll have to create a new wallet. Unfortunately, there is currently a bug that affects the wallet creation for pretty much all users. bro app is showing 4000 migrated coins but it's not yet showing in the wallet only 100 test coins is there i got this on aug 1st so will it visible in my wallet after 14 days? and one more question is are there any legit ways to buy or sell pi coins right now
In the Wallet at the top, switch from "Pi Testnet" to "Pi Mainnet." No, trying to sell or buy Pi can get your entire account locked. Instead, use your coins to buy things, as shown in ruclips.net/video/iUbqXhDN-cc/видео.html&
@@ChristianRauchenwald ok you have such a depth knowledge 😀 so 90% of my coins were locked to 2027 and there are still 4000 unverified coins so I have set lockup to minimum now so when would I get the next transaction?
Nobody can answer that. It depends on when the Pi core team runs the logic to verify earnings from referrals and security circles and when they then run the next migration after that. Could be today, could be in six months,...
I don't do price predictions, but in ruclips.net/video/iUbqXhDN-cc/видео.html& and ruclips.net/video/ZvzAayrrmbI/видео.html& you can see which value is being used right now by two of the legit and popular vendors.
That's not possible. If you actually created a wallet you received a passphrase that you should've backed up. If you don't have a passphrase then you have to follow the instructions in the video to create a new one and update your mainnet checklist. BUT the wallet creation process is currently buggy, so you should try once per week to create one until it works.
If no coins have been migrated yet to another wallet (which would've required that you have entered another passphrase in the mainnet checklist already), then you don't have to worry. Either way, create a new wallet (once it's possible again) and complete the mainnet checklist and you'll be good to go. The wallet creation process isn't working right now. Getting your locked-up coins will require some luck and good timing to send them to your new wallet once they unlock before the person you shared your passphrase with can also grab them. I wish you luck.

Once you your coins have been migrated to your wallet and if you lose your passphrase, you’re forever screwed. Because if you create a new wallet, your coins in your old wallet is 100% inaccessible. It cant be transferred to the new wallet.that’s how unforgivable Pi Network is. It was all worthless. Screw you Pi!!!
While I'm sorry to hear that you forgot your passphrase, you should not blame Pi Network since you didn't pay attention to the texts that clearly told you that you have to store your passphrase securely. This is how it works for every single crypto wallet. The benefit of crypto is that you are in control, which means you are 100% responsible for storing your passphrase, so you have nobody else to blame but yourself.
Double-check that each of the words you have written down is also mentioned in the list at www.blockplate.com/pages/bip-39-wordlist? I assume you likely have a typo in whatever you wrote down. If that doesn't help, you won't be able to access that wallet anymore, as the right passphrase is the only way to unlock a wallet.
Yes. It's the benefit and downside of self-custodial crypto wallets. You are the only one who can access it, but that also means that if you lose the passphrase, there is no way to regain access.
Yeah, there is an issue with the wallet creation process right now. Just try again weekly until it works, I'm sure it's a high-priority issue for the team right now so it shouldn't take too long for them to fix it.

What should i do for unknowlingly sharing my passphrase
That question is literally answered in the video.
How long does it take for KYC verification approval?
It varies. For some people, it takes only a few minutes, and for others, it might take months to verify their documents properly. It depends a lot on whether the data in your profile matches your ID 100% and how clean/clear the video/liveness check is you have to record during the KYC verification.
How will i transfer my transferable pi it just increases as i mine but wont go to minenet
If you complete the mainnet checklist, the coins will eventually be migrated into your wallet. There's nothing you have to do but wait.
Still stuck in KYC for name mismatch but few years back I applied for name change but nothing changed. Now I apealed so what to do. Need help
Nothing you can do but wait until the team handles your request.

@ChristianRauchenwald yes
Please how do i redo my checklist 3 and 8, I'm waiting to be migrated though, i lost my phrase, my fingerprint option isn't working even though I had previously been using it to login to my wallet. Please what do i do?
Create a new wallet (once that works again), then go to the mainnet checklist, press on step 3, and follow the instructions. Then, repeat the same with step 8.
@@ChristianRauchenwald thank you. I'll try that
Be aware that the wallet creation process isn't working for everyone right now.

I created new one but pis are not being transferred there
Obviously coins that are already in your old wallet stay there unless you manually transfer them to your new wallet.
Besides that, don't forget to also update your mainnet checklist and add your new wallet there to receive future migrations into your new wallet.
I can't remember passphrase or have no biometric log in. This is the the problem. How do I go about this?
Follow the instructions in the video.
I've already had my Pi migrated to my previous wallet which i lost the phrase.. i created a new one but nothing
I also did the same thing when I lost my phone. Have tried to contact the core team but nothing
I'm not sure what you mean by "but nothing"? What are you expecting to happen?
How much do you expect the price to be?
I don't do price predictions in general. But, I can say, right now, most transactions I know of value Pi at $0.20 to $0.25 per coin.
Waiting 5 years for $0.25 is very unfortunate
If you joined in year one already, you likely have at least 1,000 Pi.
That's $250, which you'd get just by pressing a button once daily.
That's based on the current value I know of, and I don't consider future development of Pi's value based on supply and demand.
Personally, I got $60 worth of studio equipment three years ago for around 5 Pi as shown in ruclips.net/video/tiGCVkO24Bs/видео.html&
And two Xbox games worth a bit more than $100 last year, as shown in ruclips.net/video/iUbqXhDN-cc/видео.html&
So, I got around $160 worth of stuff just for pressing a button once per day, which I don't consider bad at all.
I have been trying to complete the number 3 step in that pi main net checklist but it keeps repeating itself
Mhm, I'm not sure what the reason for this could be. Maybe ask at reddit.com/r/PiNetwork and, if possible, include a screenshot of any error you get (if there is one shown).
Hi, my KYC is still applied, waiting over 6 months, if you know what to do to write me plese.
As explained in ruclips.net/video/tLhKUcPbcmg/видео.html& there is nothing you can do but wait.

Likely you don't have the correct/full passphrase. Maybe you missed a word, or you have a typo.
I lost my passphrase but none of my pi has entered my wallet so how can I get back my passphrase and access my wallet
No. You have to create a new wallet, as explained in the video.
I have future migration scheduled nextyear, it is set to be transferred to my old wallet, but it was compromised, so i created a new one and confirmed on the checklist, so the future migration that is set to be Nextyear will now go to the new waller right that I created?
If you updated both steps of the mainnet checklist as explained in the video, then yes.
How can I recover my old wallet
You need the passphrase. There is no way to access your wallet without that.
Sir how do I change my pi network name or edit the name am having issues with that
Every user has 14 days to update the name in their profile and ensure it's correct after signing up.
Pls I need help I lost my passphrase of my pi wallet
The video clearly explains what you have to do in that case.
I forgot my wallet passphrase key. And I have not activated the fingerprint. Sir help me how to get passphrase key and activate fingerprint. I will be grateful if you help me.
You can't. Use another device to create a new wallet, then send any coins you have to that wallet, update your migration checklist with the new wallet address, and once any lockup you have expires, send those coins as well and only then completely log out from your wallet and log in to the new wallet on your device.
Pls how can I delete my old wallet so that the new one can reflect

Heyy i have a doubt
Suppose i forgot my old wallet Passphrase and then created a new wallet but then after 2-3 months i somehow get access to my old wallet Passphrase can i still log in or acces that wallet ???
Yes, as explained in my reply to your other comment.
Hello. my balance migrated to mainnet. but at the start of mining I set blocks.
@@ChristianRauchenwald Thank you
one more question.
Of i make a new wallet then all my migrated pi will be lost?? Kindly tell me
Pi that haven't yet been transferred will be transferred to the new wallet once you update both steps in the mainnet checklist.
Pi that are already in your current wallet and are locked will stay there; you will have to transfer them to your new wallet once they unlock manually if you still have access to that wallet.
If you don't have access anymore, then any Pi already in that wallet are lost.

bro my wallet is created today
my question is
unverified balance is 6000 coins
transferable is 2000
as my coins yet to migrate
so how much and when will i receive the first migrate coins in my wallet
and if i receive 2000 coind i have set it for 3y 90%
so after receiving the first coins
can i change that settings
and most of my balance is still in unverified balance 5 of my refers are not mining
so if they complete kyc
when will i get those as verified
then will my next settings will be updated when 2nd time of migration like 2 weeks
@@ChristianRauchenwald ok tq man
but 10 out of 2 people of my refer were already completed kyc and remaining members are not active and not eligible for kyc
so will pi burn bonus i have earned
so i m happy if they atleast 2 to 3k out of 6k in unverified balance of me
You get whatever share comes from referrals and security circle members who passed KYC.
Coins from users that didn't pass KYC will eventually be added back to the mining supply.

so will it visible in my wallet after 14 days?
and one more question is
are there any legit ways to buy or sell pi coins right now
In the Wallet at the top, switch from "Pi Testnet" to "Pi Mainnet."
No, trying to sell or buy Pi can get your entire account locked. Instead, use your coins to buy things, as shown in ruclips.net/video/iUbqXhDN-cc/видео.html&

so 90% of my coins were locked to 2027

Nobody can answer that. It depends on when the Pi core team runs the logic to verify earnings from referrals and security circles and when they then run the next migration after that. Could be today, could be in six months,...

I created as well I was given any passphrase I have created another wallet with any without any wallet address or every a phrase
That's not possible. If you actually created a wallet you received a passphrase that you should've backed up.

If no coins have been migrated yet to another wallet (which would've required that you have entered another passphrase in the mainnet checklist already), then you don't have to worry.

Where is the paraphrase? How I can find it for the first time?
It's shown to you when you create a wallet.
I have written down all 24 words. When I enter it keep showing invalid passphrase. How should I enter ? Pls help

Ok so bottom line, you're screwed, you lost all your Pi in that old wallet and you need to make a new wallet... Awesome
Yes. It's the benefit and downside of self-custodial crypto wallets. You are the only one who can access it, but that also means that if you lose the passphrase, there is no way to regain access.
