SIM Sherpa do a comparison (would provide a link but comments normally get deleted) certainly some features that work better on the main network compared to the piggybacked services.
They do tend to de-prioritise virtual operators, yes. You won't be deliberately slowed down, but when a cell is busy, you'll find your data performance is worse than others. Also, you're at the back of the queue when connecting to a busy cell - noticeable at a popular event, for example.
When it comes to renewing car insurance, companies are not letting you speak to a real person, ie Aviva. I have tried. You have a chat line which is useless. Then they send a survey link if you renew I think they’re taking the piss.
Martin can you please make a video about broadband providers, I am stuck with BT as the only option in my building and nearly paying 40£ a month for the second lowest speed available. That's ridiculous and they keep putting their prices up but can't do anything about it

Moved already. Left O2 because of this. Of course they cried about it but it felt good to be able to tell them to stuff it. They’ll have to work harder than their current offerings if they ever want to see mine or my daughters contact back again.
I got into a 2 year contract which was a good deal at the time. Now prices have dropped & the amount of data increased: I have 10GB but only use 5GB a month. Most plans now come with unlimited minutes & texts.
i might add to this that you can download apps that show you where the signal is comming from and how strong it is and most of the time you can change where you are connecting to in the settings of your mobile phone.
You might need to be persistent. I've tried this a few times recently with O2, and got a "Oops, something went wrong...." type of reply. The third attempt today worked, and it confirmed that I'm out of contract.
Yeh, I found that with 02 to. Went into branch in end, now with tesco, much better sim only deal for half the price and they run of 02 network so same coverage. . . Win win 😊
