Thanks for watching 👍
Me here in Brazil, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, driving an Audi like that would be a dream.
Great video, informative and pretty spot on. I do have the TDI coupe so bit of a shame you don't cover possible faults with those but that said, great job😎
Thanks for watching! You’re right. I forgot diesels. Over here in the US not too many people buy diesel 😀
The best is the 6-cylinder diesels. The diesel issues might be turbos (although rare), egr valves, timing chain (depending on the year). And other issues that any European car have: leaks, various sensors.
In general 6 cylinder diesels are stronger.
One thing I do not necessarily agree with is the fuel mileage figures being "pretty close to what the manufacturer states". Here in the UK Audi claim that model will do around 38-42 mpg. The claims for the TDI are just as optimistic to say the least. Maybe Audi are more honest over there with regards expected fuel economy. Let's be honest, as lovely as Audis are, the companys track record with honesty is, error, dubious to say the least🤔😉
Yeah, they got burned pretty badly a couple of years ago 😀
When I review VW Atlas I noticed fuel economy wasn’t great. They have to be more accurate now 😀
@@AccentOnCars yeh, mines a 4 cylinder😂😂 and as such does have a timing belt as opposed to chain so arguably better/cheaper apart from paying 300 squid every 60000 miles or so. But obviously if the chain snaps then 300 smackaroos is about all the car would be worth😂😂
@@AccentOnCars they got burnt as in taken to court regarding their insane mpg claims? I know the Audi/VW group scammed the emissions tests but didn't realise they had been called to answer regarding mpg's. Muppets haven't bothered letting other nations know. Including Germany I believe😂😂😂
So how many mpg are you getting ?
Got mine last year in March as my first car and love it so far. Didn't have any issues yet.
Nice one, what year?

@romanvlad2966 nice one man I m looking for a used car and I think I m going for the same one. Such a beautiful vehicle.
how about now !
@@outsideboy23 Still love it still no issues, tho the car is tuned now.
the engine is quiet stock but with a few mods you can easily make it sound like a v6 and it sounds amazing.
It has great potential for tuning, indeed!
What mods do u suggest to wake it up?
I’d start with smth simple as ECU tune (chip tune) from a reputable tuner.
At last, tomorrow i'm supposed to buy a used 2016 A5. I sold my A4 yesterday.... Fingers crossed. Great video btw :)
Thank you! Enjoy your new car! 😎
Great review ...stlill ROFL with the getting in the trunk..
Thanks for watching 😎
Good stuff! do something on a Q5 Audi like a late 2017 w
Thanks for watching. I reviewed 2012 Q5 on this channel. 2017 hasn’t changed too much in terms of engine and transmission, but obviously more tech and modern.
@@AccentOnCars what about like 2018?
2018 has it’s pros and cons. It’s made in Mexico. Whether that’s a good thing or not is up for discussion. It offers significantly more tech and optional active suspension. 2.0 TFSI i-4 engine is conceptually the same, but has been improved a lot. I assume it will be similarly reliable and unreliable as previous TFSI. But those are good engines overall.
Cons: they ditched the brilliant 8 speed automatic for 7 speed dual clutch. It shifts faster and contributes to higher mpg, but there is no way it will be as reliable as the previous ZF 8 speed. They switched to the so called quattro ultra which is not a constant AWD as the previous Quattro was. Most won’t notice the difference, but the older quattro with the torsen diff was great.
@@AccentOnCars wow, thats very informative! So best bet would be like a 2017 model huh?
It really depends on what you want and what you value. Test drive both and compare.
Eu aqui no Brazil, na cidade do Rio de Janeiro num Audi desses seria um sonho.
Do a 2017-2018 Q5 Review!

@@AccentOnCars Hmm I have an option to get either 2017 or 2018, both are TFSI 1.4 liter, non-quattro. Which one is better? I hope the CVT transmission isnt back with the 2018 model? Also, made in Mexico, wtf? Is the 2017 German made?
A6 offers better head rooms?
Sloped roof of A5 makes the cabin space smaller than in A6. Thus, A6 offers more head room. I have an A6 review on the channel too.
Very informative video, but maybe cut the little unnecessary videos ;)
What’s unnecessary in your mind? 😉
@@AccentOnCars The clips in between the shots are a bit too long. maybe make like transition less than 3-5 Secons. 1min intro imo is too long, but you have it right now the first 20 seconds you get right into the details of what the video is about! keep that up. (other than that you are doing great! )
Appreciate the feedback:) Will keep in mind.
what engine better this 2.0L or bmw 28i?
This is probably a bit more reliable.
Great! Are you Turk?
I am a human being:) I hope you can subscribe to support the channel.

You forgot to mention that 2007-2013 TFSI engines require equal amount of engine oil and petrol to run 😝😅
Yeah 😀 I think I said that they burned good amount of oil:)
@@AccentOnCars from my research I ve found that they fixed this issue on the 3rd gen engines, which are in some 2012 A5's
Yep, I think 2013 and late 2012 production year.
@@AccentOnCars do you know anything about the 2.0 engine? I just heard about the 1.8
This video is about the 2.0 engine.
i infact do get the ladies
They drink too much fuel in town.
2.0 doesn’t consume too much, but depends on what you’re comparing to.
I drive a Verloster Turbo on my channel
People forget that German cars need religious services every 5k miles to maintain optimal performance
Totally agree that maintenance is important
