The guards could observe the prisoners at any time without the prisoners seeing the guards. The idea was that prisoners would mediate their own behavior because they wouldn't know if they were being watched - fun facts
I feel like this game was trying to be too many things. It has elements of Assassins Creed, God of War, and a few other games, as well as an erratic and simplistic fighting style that, from the looks of it, gets really repetitive really fast. They should have stuck to the unique aspects of this game (like the thing where you re-write people's memories), rather than ripping off of other popular games. That, and Tommy is the only remotely interesting character that one can connect with thus far. Nillin is so dull, and angsty.
Yes, I wish they would have made more things about that. I sometimes wonder what or how she re-write the memories. In fact (and maybe it's only me), I'm not sure of what she's doing exactly. Sure, we can say she only re-write memories, but what proof do we have ? I think very much so after Olga, I wasn't like "Oh she'll discover her memories were alternate" but more like "Wait, is her husband dead then ? Did her other memories change too ?". I wasn't really sure... So maybe did I skip something somewhere but that wasn't explicated was it ? So I'm always wishing we see her re-write memories or at least do something when she steal memories. That's a little disappointing to only see the... exterior point of vue ? There isn't anything explained by the characters too... (I must say, if I did any mistake, I normally speak french)
Even Craotic's overwhelming sense of optimism couldn't salvage this garbage heap of a game. Good lord.. I cannot get over how objectively bad Remember Me is.
I dunno, I liked the game enough to complete it. It wasn't mind blowingly awesome or anything but hell it was worth buying (on sale) and I was happy to play it.
