@@TimurD1905 I'd say Macy's isn't doing that bad, as their online presence is one of the biggest in the country; they have so many locations so it's a matter of closing their underperforming ones. JCPenney is safe from bankruptcy now that Simon and Brookfield bought the brand, but they really need to revitalize the store format for the long term. If you look at the closing locations for JCPenney, most of them are in malls not owned by Simon or Brookfield.
@@rl8429 My mom loves JcPenney and Macys lol. She sometimes buys stuff online and at the stores at the Rockaway Mall in Rockaway, NJ. I miss Sears though and not many of them are open now
@@TimurD1905 which building? both the macys and ihop are still there. the macys is currently running as a place for residents of the town to get covid vaccines & tests
Awesome video! That old IHOP was suppose to be razed to add new roads I believe.
That could be true, I'm amazed it's still there considering it's been abandoned for a very long time.
I can see why this Macy's closed. Their Willowbrook location is in the same town and gets more foot traffic.
True, idk why but I feel like Macy’s is on the decline too. Just like JcPenney as well

@@TimurD1905 Yeah Macy's is still a pretty beloved brand. I think they'll be one of the longest lasting traditional department stores.
i wonder if that building is still there
It might possibly be still there, I wanna check it out though

@@oliviar0x That's crazy that the IHOP is still abandoned there, I heard it's been sitting there since the 90's
Both Macy's and IHOP are still there.
@@propknot Maybe Tractor Supply Co. could take over the Macy's? I'll write a letter telling them to open there.
It was like late 2016 early 2017 maybe who knows
Yeah, the Macy's looks like it closed down in 2016 or 2017.
