That was probably one of the most unexpected plot twists but the question as to why he did it still stands. Was he in love with Bryan, was he afraid of being left alone, was Bryan Leading him on?
Kyle loved Brian wanted him but Sam Sam was in the way and so even though it was indirectly he killed her and now Brian could be his but the guilt won’t ever stop
Final note… I think Kyle became addict, and that was the reason behind soooo many syringes. He was high through the game, he probably became an addict after what happened with Sam. He probably started to write and while writing he started to hallucinate. These hallucinations were mostly about his guilt and what happened to Sam. My interpretation of the two endings are, that the one in which you say “yes”, you decide to keep living in the lie that you are innocent of what happened. To keep that lie, Kyle keeps drugging himself to the point he dies from overdose, but he sees death as Sam because her memory is his guilt. When you say “no” Kyle rethinks what he has done and finally accepts that he is guilty. He does not die from overdose, because he ends up in jail.

I feel like the reason why Kyle used “B” and “Brian” is cuz when he speaks of Brian romantically, he can’t bring himself to admit that he really IS in love with Brian (Very clear that he is closeted and has interalized homophobia issue). So using “B” is a way for him to comfortably talk about Brian without having to think too hard when he spews out all of his feelings. He clearly still struggles to this day to admit his homosexuality. Not only that, I have a feeling that he knows someone is reading so it could be for anonimity. Either way this game has major PLOTTWIST AND I LOVE IT GODDAMN.

Hi- new fan here. Beyond this point are spoilers, read after the full watching of the gameplay, please. . . . Let me clarify a couple things if I may. One, the horrible creaking sound we kept hearing was Sam, breathing through her broken neck, as she died. Two, Kyle, the one obsessed gives a sickening feeling that somewhere, some-when this scenario has happened. Know this: Karma is real. And be comforted that 'Sam' will not have died in vain or unavenged. and Three, This Game was amazing and so was the playthrough. I can't wait to watch it again.
I don't know if I would say it's karmic because I feel like Kyle just continues to be just as miserable as he was prior just the same way Sam continue to be miserable and then died it would be karmic if Kyle was happy and moved on with his life after doing such a horrible thing but no he was still very much miserable and alone
For some reason, I thought the player was Brian reading Sam's diaries and that she was the stalker, that you were playing as the boy who got stalked and him finding out that his friend had stalked him, and feeling the paranoia from that, him imagining (or realizing) all the things the stalker did happening in real time. But god that reveal that it was Kyle was amazing and that all the haunting moments and why Sam was chasing him around was not because she was stalking the player character, but haunting him and also as a symbol of his guilt (or at least that's how I interpret it). Incredible game 10/10 and watching Jay's reaction to it was hilarious (and also comforting bc I too was scared shitless)

This game was absolutely gorgeous. Twists and turns with the diary’s content and finally seeing all of it come together. Spoiler: The “ finish what you started “ got me. Realizing who did those hearts all over the place, forcing us to go through it again.
Sometimes I forget I haven't met Jay in person. I love how personal and open, kind and considerate he is with us. Jay you're that dude we love you. Your content got me through the toughest days.

oh my goodness i dont know what to say! im tearing up because i found this game so moving. the story was absolutely exquisite. i was on my feet the entire time and each character felt unique and special in their own way, and the metaphors for different things (like the hiding to insinuate that he was scared to come out and the writing on the walls to represent thought) was delivered beautifully. the plot twist that it was kyle instead absolutely blew my mind!! i was so engrossed into this story, i havent been this way about a story since like 5th grade! this game was excellent and i hope to see more from the creator :)
I can’t explain it but, this game feels like those unexpected games you’d feel really attached to, the story, the plot twists, everything was perfect, and they way jay voiced everything was the cherry on top. I seriously love this game and channel ❤️

That was a huge plot twist, i really thought from the beginning that we were seeing things as Brian's perspective. The game is really well done and the story very dark and interesting aswell.
I love this game. The psychological twist it has. It may be one of my favorites out of most games that Jay plays that has a twist. But in this one, it was much more complicated and in depth, while you read you go back to back figuring out who's the one writing in that diary. And the hallucinations Kyle was having during it was surreal, everything that happened explained itself in the end that left me on a shocked note. And at first I didnt even know the hearts had S and B in it, I thought it was random scribbles! You made this video sm fun Jay.

This game was incredible, from beginning to end! I was completely immersed the entire time, and even though I spoiled the plot twist for myself, it still hit hard. That's how you know it's a good game, lol I actually saw someone play this a while back, but I kinda just skimmed the first bit of the play-through and left. Really glad Jay played this, otherwise this game would've stayed under my radar. Edit: Man, it genuinely makes me so happy to see Jay also loved this game
The twist was so good. I actually have to comment that I absolutely loved the game. I watch a lot of horror stories with the games on the channel but this one...oh I actually got jumpscared a lot and screamed haha. The narration from Jay was amazing as always and it pulled me even more into the story. Slowly revealing who it was, first that it wasn't Sam, second that it wasn't Stacey or someone else but Kyle. He was sus from the comment that Sam made in one of her entries about him looking at her weirdly but I didn't think it would lead to this oh wow... Thank you for showing us such a great game Jay.
I love how Jay covers the screen whenever the diary hints at Sam's ghost being behind him or whenever he hears the grudge sound, I do the same thing so it made me feel better about my scared ass

(SPOILERS) - - - - - - - Ok so to summarize it, the character we thought we're playing was Sam. But no, it was Kyle. You would notice why the papers were separated. The writings in the book was Kyle's diary, while the papers scattering around were Sam's. Now here is the story. Sam liked Brian. Kyle also do. Although Kyle is more like "Obsessed" with Brian. Stacy and Kyle were together and planned to mess Sam up by inviting into the party and making her drunk. But their plan failed when Brian took Sam back in her dorm before she can drink anything. Kyle and Stacy were furious about it. Few days later, Stacy sneaked in her room and took her diary. She told Kyle about it that she even sent pictures to him. Both of them then told the school about it, even Brian. Brian was disgusted by it. Remember what they said about her writing SB on the walls? It was actually Kyle. Few days later Stacy had enough of Kyle, so they broke up. Then she spilled his secret about his obsession to Brian. Now, remember the letter that was inserted in Sam's locker? Kyle was the one who did that. Later on at midnight, they met at the hill. Kyle was blinded by jealousy that he even broke her neck I think? Then pushed her off the cliff. Then going back to the present, I saw one comment saying about the syringes--
That Kyle drugged himself and died from overdose if you select "Yes". Kyle was so guilty that he even did that. Good thing he went to jail tho. He deserved it.

Tbh, at the first half of the video, I thought that the diary belongs to Sam and that she was so in love with Brian that she ended up losing her mind, especially with the ''Mingled'' book assignment. When the newspaper thingy was shown, I thought she muerta-'d herself because she realized this mindset wasn't healthy and couldn't cope with the guilt. Then I started to think that it was Stacy, then maybe one of her not named friends who was also in love with Brian, and then finally Kyle. Great game.. props to whoever created it because that shit was so scary and well-written

DAMN that was amazing, i sat through the whole thing without getting bored. all the loose ends tying up at the end and the little details letting to the ending were beautiful. It's such a good game that takes commonly used concepts and makes it so unique.

this game was absolutely perfect. the revelation that the diary entries were not from Sam, nor a random girl, nor even Stacy but KYLE himself. sick and twisted. I knew the room didn't really feel like a girl's room and the whole plot twist just explained it all. this game is so goddamn good.

Let me clarify a couple things if I may. One, the horrible creaking sound we kept hearing was Sam, breathing through her broken neck, as she died. Two, Kyle, the one obsessed gives a sickening feeling that somewhere, some-when this scenario has happened. Know this: Karma is real. And be comforted that 'Sam' will not have died in vain or unavenged. and Three, This Game was amazing and so was the playthrough. I can't wait to watch it again.

For some reason, I thought the player was Brian reading Sam's diaries and that she was the stalker, that you were playing as the boy who got stalked and him finding out that his friend had stalked him, and feeling the paranoia from that, him imagining (or realizing) all the things the stalker did happening in real time. But god that reveal that it was Kyle was amazing and that all the haunting moments and why Sam was chasing him around was not because she was stalking the player character, but haunting him and also as a symbol of his guilt (or at least that's how I interpret it). Incredible game 10/10 and watching Jay's reaction to it was hilarious (and also comforting bc I too was scared shitless)

oh my goodness i dont know what to say! im tearing up because i found this game so moving. the story was absolutely exquisite. i was on my feet the entire time and each character felt unique and special in their own way, and the metaphors for different things (like the hiding to insinuate that he was scared to come out and the writing on the walls to represent thought) was delivered beautifully. the plot twist that it was kyle instead absolutely blew my mind!! i was so engrossed into this story, i havent been this way about a story since like 5th grade! this game was excellent and i hope to see more from the creator :)

That was a huge plot twist, i really thought from the beginning that we were seeing things as Brian's perspective. The game is really well done and the story very dark and interesting aswell.
I love this game. The psychological twist it has. It may be one of my favorites out of most games that Jay plays that has a twist. But in this one, it was much more complicated and in depth, while you read you go back to back figuring out who's the one writing in that diary. And the hallucinations Kyle was having during it was surreal, everything that happened explained itself in the end that left me on a shocked note.
And at first I didnt even know the hearts had S and B in it, I thought it was random scribbles!

The twist was so good. I actually have to comment that I absolutely loved the game. I watch a lot of horror stories with the games on the channel but this one...oh I actually got jumpscared a lot and screamed haha. The narration from Jay was amazing as always and it pulled me even more into the story.
Slowly revealing who it was, first that it wasn't Sam, second that it wasn't Stacey or someone else but Kyle. He was sus from the comment that Sam made in one of her entries about him looking at her weirdly but I didn't think it would lead to this oh wow...

Ok so to summarize it, the character we thought we're playing was Sam. But no, it was Kyle. You would notice why the papers were separated. The writings in the book was Kyle's diary, while the papers scattering around were Sam's. Now here is the story. Sam liked Brian. Kyle also do. Although Kyle is more like "Obsessed" with Brian. Stacy and Kyle were together and planned to mess Sam up by inviting into the party and making her drunk. But their plan failed when Brian took Sam back in her dorm before she can drink anything. Kyle and Stacy were furious about it. Few days later, Stacy sneaked in her room and took her diary. She told Kyle about it that she even sent pictures to him. Both of them then told the school about it, even Brian. Brian was disgusted by it. Remember what they said about her writing SB on the walls? It was actually Kyle. Few days later Stacy had enough of Kyle, so they broke up. Then she spilled his secret about his obsession to Brian. Now, remember the letter that was inserted in Sam's locker? Kyle was the one who did that. Later on at midnight, they met at the hill. Kyle was blinded by jealousy that he even broke her neck I think? Then pushed her off the cliff. Then going back to the present, I saw one comment saying about the syringes--
That Kyle drugged himself and died from overdose if you select "Yes". Kyle was so guilty that he even did that. Good thing he went to jail tho. He deserved it.

Tbh, at the first half of the video, I thought that the diary belongs to Sam and that she was so in love with Brian that she ended up losing her mind, especially with the ''Mingled'' book assignment. When the newspaper thingy was shown, I thought she muerta-'d herself because she realized this mindset wasn't healthy and couldn't cope with the guilt. Then I started to think that it was Stacy, then maybe one of her not named friends who was also in love with Brian, and then finally Kyle. Great game.. props to whoever created it because that shit was so scary and well-written
