  • How to lower your steering wheel in a Freightliner Columbia or Century Class.
(Disclaimer: I am not responsible for anything you may decide to do to your truck if something may happen).
    Spacers:
    2. 3/8"-16 x 2½"
    2. 3/8":-16 x 1¼"
    Bolts:
    4. 3/8"-16 x ½"
    Washers:
    4. ⅜" washers
I would also suggest adding some lock tight to the threads.

Why two different sizes? Will same size all round work?

FYI you can get a tilting steering column from a junk yard for pennies and its a direct fit. Get one out of a century or classic they all fit

Question, where were you able to purchase the 2 different size spacers from?
Do you have any link to to share?

@@peterbilt484 what is the name of your local hardware store? This would help me to see exactly where I can find these sizes because I’ve had no luck thus far.
