In Egypt I have seen Muslim men sexually harass fully covered Muslim women, openly, shamelessly, without consequences. As a women here in North America, wearing regular clothing, exposed hair, I have never been spoken to so rudely. Something is wrong…..
Actually unfortunately, mohammad revealed hijab and veiling when women were harassed while going to a nature's call by Muslim men and Mohammad being mohammad didn't do ANYTHING to restrict the harassers, but rather told them to wrap their faces, EVEN THEIR EYES, like a fk-ing corpse, while going to NATURE'S CALL!!!! That's why these men are the way they are.
Lol maybe a perverse one but most no regardless of culture there are numerous studies showing the serious harmful effects of pornography.@@rocketmangenesis
Do any of those cultures actually exist or are you confusing your dreams with reality again? If you can move things with your mind and fly then you're dreaming, you'd think the lightning from your fingers would be a big enough hint that it's a dream @@rocketmangenesis
I agree....the way Muslim mothers idolize sons adds to their lack of control and the arrogance to think they can treat women this way....extrapolate this and you get the grooming gangs seen in the UK recently
As a woman I will say it goes both ways....Women dressing like prostitutes will always attract attention its human nature. There is a difference between dressing nice and dressing to flaunt and seduce!!! Men also need to control their impulses
Hijab didn't protect Syrian Sunni Muslim women from grape by prison guards in Sadnaya (very sad the hell they went through). Afghan boys aren't safe from Afghan men.
I just viewed a video --- on RUclips, surprisingly --- Where a man was pouring liquid acid over the COVERED HEADS of two women in front of a seated audience of both male and female witnesses. Even more barbaric than the videos of females being stoned to death and beheaded for not covering their heads. My heart aches for the women who have been brainwashed by a death-cult of psychopathic misogynists into thinking this is somehow their misfortunate birthright for the egregious "sin" of being born female. . . instead of recognizing the evil demons who are gaslighting, brainwashing and forcing these atrocities and abuses upon them. ruclips.net/video/YVGOYhFHAco/видео.html
The delivery, the content, and ASs personality are stellar. You're not going to be that far removed from the religion, I mean you're here. Like Abdullah, I'm an ex, and unfortunately it intrudes on all our lives, one way or another. I'm so thankful for people like him who stand up, they don't hide the way I do. I'm a woman, so we aren't on the same footing, but I'd love to find my voice and use it.
Same! I don't have anyone in my life who is in this religion or culture. I often worried about women in this world but hoped I was wrong. It seems the concerns I had were founded. 😢
It's all about removing any kind of responsibility for self control for Muslim men.... I use the term 'men' humorously as self control is what makes one a man, imo.
Also ladies , this is a predicament that can happen across all cultures . If you find yourself obsessing over a male that is not fit to be your partner , go walk over to your local pet shop . Look at the aquarium section. See all the fish. Thousands . Then zone in on one fish and keep obsessing over it. do you see how insane it is? you have thousands to choose from! some much better options! expand your mind and have the courage to forget and find something better
this is a predicament that can happen across all cultures, true, but how many other cultures force their women to fully cover head to toe, to be treated like mindless automata who need permission from their master to even step outside, and all of that just for a paradise that's literally being trapped in a windowless, overly bright white building (if the color of everything in it, including the walls, floor and ceiling, were to be expressed as a hex color, it would be "FFFFFF") to endlessly wait for men with eternal erections coming to have sex with the woman? is that really a paradise any woman would feel enticed to strive for?
I had a “pious” man who closed his shop to pray 5 times a day say to me “ your husband is lucky, if you were my wife I’d keep you up all night”. He also told me he divorced his doctor wife for a woman who isn’t educated and can’t read so she won’t leave the house. I had no idea how to respond to any of this.
@@comment3711 Yep. And there are white passport bros in this country who specifically choose much younger, uneducated, broke immigrants to marry for the exact same reason. They want that power differential.
No offense, but you should post videos written by your wife more often. I rarely watched your videos at first, but the more you include your wife, the more interested I am in them. (Maybe because I am a woman too) She is a very smart woman and knows how to get to the heart of many problems.
I loved this as well, it totally resonated with me as a woman, I wouldn't mind some more videos created/inspired by Mrs FriendlyExmuslim. But, that said, I LOVE Sameer's videos on all other important topics considering lsIam, the way he does them on his own. He presents the facts and problems so well, clear, and with enough empathy and tolerance for human condition in general, that any woman can enjoy them.
@miovicdina7706 I love his videos too. I watched them for years as I was questioning my way out of Islam. I love helping him with the channel, but I also love the content he creates too. He's very good at technical and academic topics and I'm into topics concerning women and society as a Muslim. ❤😊
In school, I had a friend called Aaliyah. Her parents made her wear hijab, but once they left after dropping her off, she went into th bathroom and took it off. Once the last bell rang, she went back and put it on before going home. On civvies day, she wore much different stuff, which could be considered "revealing" to Islam and swapped back into the dark, modest clothes she came to school with. All of this skulduggery and subterfuge just to feel "normal" as she said to me.
@FriendlyExmuslim It's been a while since high school and I checked in. She's already married with a kid and a another on the way. She's 22. I know some people marry young and do great, but Aaliyah is not one of those people.
I worked with a Muslim girl many years ago. She always wore an abaya to work and a hijab, but underneath she worse whatever was in fashion. She said her parents and brothers didn't know what she wore but it was her way of rebelling a little. Her older sister had been married off to a man decades older than her and she herself, was under pressure to marry a cousin back in Pakistan.
Hijab doesn’t protect any woman from a man’s gaze or harrasment. Hijabis’ still get harassed even when all covered up. It’s because they have no actual respect for women . Clothing shouldn’t demand respect. Men should respect all women no matter how they are dressed. They don’t have to agree with it but deserve respect nonetheless . Women are human and should be treated with dignity. And that lollipop analogy is actually calling Muslim men the flies which means they have no self control..
I can't imagine getting married to someone I barely know.... that sounds truly awful. As a British woman with no religion, I find it absurd that these restrictions are placed on women by their faith, and yet if the men had to wear it, it would be immediately abandoned. Seriously, hijab might not be an issue so much in winter, but I can only imagine how awful it must be to have to wear that in the middle of a heatwave. Showing ones hair, arms and legs is NOT going to cause sexual harassment, the guys who do such things are basically crude idiots who are thinking with their penises instead of their brains. Sexual harassment is a crime in my country, and many others too, which is how it should be.
really... why grooming gang thing then in UK... you do know what your country is called. It is town next to you if it has not arrived to your town already.
There is a lot to be said for the personal benefit of dressing modestly - especially if you feel spiritually convicted to do so. Modestly can definitely often feel like a shield to keep you from unwanted attention. But NEVER mistake modesty for protection. Dressing modest or immodest WILL NOT protect you from anything. People abuse CHILDREN, they abuse BABIES. It isn’t about what you wear. Yes, certain types of clothes can grant easier / faster access to the abuser - it’s a lot faster to flip up a short skirt than to go through several layers of heavy winter wear - but a woman in a burka is not less likely to be assaulted than a woman in a sundress. And quite frankly neither woman is much less likely to be assaulted than a nine year old boy. Predators don’t care what you wear, and being modest won’t protect you from aggressors.
It's only to protect the predators who aren't expected to have any self control in any situation. That's what it means to be a man in Islam. To be a woman means to be controlled.
I think hyper modesty emphasis leads to a lot more assault the way it's promoted in Islamic cultures. It's no longer about "you'd still get assaulted" but more like the chances of assault significantly increase bcs of the emphasis on it. And the reason is simple, the teachings and pressure is placed on women to fulfil the obligation of dressing modestly, and men are told a woman can take four men to hell. They act more controlling and entitled because of it + they're never taught how to actually behave like a normal human being around a woman, bcs everything is hyper sexualized. Hair? Sexual. Face? Sexual. Shoulders? Sexual. Arms? Sexual. Everything is much more sexualized when only burqa and hijab are considered modest.
very great video. Although I'm not muslim myself, I've had many male muslim friends and I would constantly notice how compared to other groups of men they would shamelessly lust after me yet say they were very religious and wanted a pure hijabi wife. I hope muslim women can avoid these kinds of men, because they seem to be everywhere.
When Humans use the words "don't do x" it weirdly drives the person to consider x as an option. 🤔 Because one has to think about x to know not to do x ... Therefore its better to give lots of healthy choices.
This is literally why I don’t like being around them in my city. And it’s not just in my head I’ve had bad encounters while alone and also while just walking with another gay guy we were also being harassed. They’re so homophobic that it becomes like a horseshoe effect and actually scary
That's why I like the specific religion I am in. They require high standards of both men and women that don't put it all in one gender. The women in my extended family were sought after because we were all virgins and attractive and had good attributes and we all insisted on marrying men from our culture because those young men are also expected to be virgins, to never view pornography, and to treat women with respect and kindness. There was zero reason for them to even look at guys who didn't meet the high chaste standards of the men in their culture and then they could be choosy among the ment in their culture. All of my female cousins married honest chaste men who treat them like queens because they were raised that way. Lustful men are not worth our time and I am grateful that they are exposed. We know our value and because our children have good men for fathers, our children in turn thrive and divorce rate is incredibly low. Our children have lowest underage drinking, drug abuse rates, and teen pregnancy rates. Happy marriages and happy families are built on chastity for both genders.
Thank you for this Ex-Muslima, and for your part Fr.Ex.M. So glad to hear you have a love of your life. Candid with Lubna (once a questioning Muslim and uncovered) here on YT talked about being looked at by Muslim men while they are with their covered wives. And from what I hear wearing protective clothing does not protect women from sexual harassment by men. Especially in places where "sins" are removed sexual harassment occurs, and I figure the people doing it believe their "sins" are removed, thus you can sin first and remove it soon after.
This whole concept of "sins" is absurd false and complete BS. Am ex Catholic and would like to challenge all religious bigots and all followers whether any single person from the grave has revealed they have seen Allah or God. Catholic church has Ash Wednesday "Dust thou art and to Dust you shall return." Period. BTW all leaders are Male.
Yes this is how they are they tell the women to cover up and stay inside the house while they go out and look at non hijabi women and enjoy their lives, the rules they impose are mostly for the women to follow as for themselves they will not burden themselves with so many rules , they only want women to be extra pious and religious but for themselves they live freely
Yes this is so true. My pakistani jihadist husband is a hypocrite still chasing, trapping females for their own selfish, lustful desires up to this day even though his parents are 'pious'. Thank you bro for speaking up the exact way most islamic men r living now.
Muslim men still stare at covered women. I was 15, in full hijab, and harassed by 3 men (one policeman, mind you). After that incident it was easy to realize that hijab failed to protect me. At the age of 16 I became ex Muslim and now I wear whatever I want ❤️
Greetings from Germany. I agree with you. I am a Christian woman. Serving God has something to do with morals, the behavior and our thoughts and not with something as superficial as clothing.
Yet another problem with Islam is that the males are not required to evolve into men. They remain little boys who take whatever they want regardless of cost to others. I've seen many men exercising in the street (cycling, running, etc.) yet I've never once been tempted to attack them.
I am British (I’m white, blonde, blue/green eyes), whenever I take my car to the car wash which is full of Muslim guys working there they all go out their way to come over and speak to me, always looking at me. I recently went with my partner who is Albanian (Muslim) and the difference in their behaviour was astounding. Not once did any of them say anything to me, they kept their eyes looking down the whole time they were anywhere near me, not once did they even glance at me. They know that it’s wrong for them to look but they don’t care.
Absolutely love watching ypur videos, they have me enthralled from start to finish. Your wife's input is very much appreciated as she also has very intelligent and well- articulated views on these topics. As a white Australian woman, its all so fascinating. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing. Porn is also a big problem with Christian men and women. Porn is a marriage killer. Problem is that kids start watching porn as young as 10 years old.
@@sashamoore9691 Why is it a bigger problem for them? Its big issue for both beliefs. I dont get your response. Porn addiction is a non religious issue that is often made worse by being religious, because of shame.

It is a way of controlling women into marrying arranged marriage and within their society because other men from different wouldn’t be interested in women that is face covered , this way they can make sure women have less opportunity and would agree to marry any man from her society in order to have kids
You can get to know someone someone by meeting them for coffee dates, restaurant date and speaking on the phone to understand them. All my hijabi friends are married, I’ve never worn a hijab and still single 😊 Let people wear what they want.
@@scarlettkhan9667: I’m not sure that Moslem women can even go on coffee or restaurant dates - and if your hijab covers everything except your eyes, eating and drinking are difficult. Even if restaurant dates were possible, people can pretend to be one thing and then turn out to be another with that sort of limited contact before marriage.
watching porn is not a monogamous act. people need to realise this. its cheating, if you pretend you are monogamous then watch naked people. this has damaged every relationship i have had. one of them was obsessed with it, the other stopped, but i could not forget.
@YoucefB-h3q hypocricy is saying i don’t see others, I only see you and want you! Then looking and wanting other people be it digitally or physically. If the majority of the world does or says something, doesn’t mean it’s correct.
@YoucefB-h3q to answer your question, I am non-binary. Also you can stop watching porn if you work on your addiction with counseling. I would not tell you “if you love someone you will stop naturally” cause maybe that is not correct psychologically.
Yes, every men has desires. After that emotion comes the prefrontal cortex decision to act on said desire. As long as m men do not take responsibility for their own actions but blame women for making them desire and thus sin, women will be blamed and punished. This is much bigger then the hijab. This is about is lam
The ridiculesness of the order (because of Umar? peeping at a women of Mohammed) of hijab wearing is also clear when old women wear it also; what protecting beauty? The cloth is also bad for the hair, unnatural and deprives women from the benefits of sunshine.
They can't be equated tho. Muslim countries are under sharia law and Islamic teachings are a big big part of education+ socialization, not nearly close to anything any other religion in the world does. The women being lesser than men is often emphasized very directly in religious teachings + through other teachings giving men the right to be controlling, and it's common in mosque sermons, school text syllabus, parental teachings etc. And Muslim communities are strictly adherent to every single strict aspect of religion, with a lot more emphasis and pressure and deeper consequences if you don't follow or listen. Saying all this as a born Muslim myself living in a Muslim country.
I will have to say here as a quran alone Muslim I'm a minority so ik I can't respond. But quranically women cover privates, butt, and boob. Basically the sexual parts.... that's it... its actually insane
I don't get what's confusing about this. If they thought men weren't going to look at women with lust, then they wouldn't be forcing the women to cover their hair, faces, bodies, whatever. If the religion told the men to avert their eyes, and they meant it, then the women could dress normally.
You have a beautiful wife. I can tell by her words. I love this channel because it triggers me in the right way. Thank you to you and your wife for your much needed work in this world of horrors.
How would someone define "Not looking at women"? I know a guy whos wife didn't allow him to watch survivor because in the show girls wear a bikini. And everyone made fun of him because of that men and women.
Some take it this far. I've seen posts about stuff like this too. They don't want their husbands even watching movies with a woman in it. You're on the money here. It's within the realm of requests from Muslim women.
@@truecrimeallofthetime they themselves would also not be allowed to watch anything with shirtless men, or would be expected not to. But yes, this insecurity definitely exists in Muslim women (and considering you're not allowed to wear anything even close to that yourself, it kinda makes sense to be pissed about your husband watching that) and it doesn't end with shows. I'm a born Muslim too and I still dress pretty modestly myself (strict family, can't wear anything different) but I've seen many hijabi women and women in burqas or generally very covered up who act very negatively towards women who are allowed to wear something less covered up. There's a lot of hatred about how these women are leading men astray and they constantly feel the need to say that hijab makes you prettier
I think it depends on what your partner or husband is like towards women. If the man is obsessed looking at females in bikini and that makes him lust after them and this makes him watch some porn because of him watching a female in a bikini, then l get why the partner/wife doesn’t like him to watch these shows.
Nobody should have to live with a person who doesn't have similar values or is abusive in any way. Even being ignored or shut out in a relationship is abusive. I am not the servant nor just a walking uterus. There should be, at minimum, affection and caring if not love.
My wife had a colleague who married a Muslim man after saving herself for marriage. He never looked at other women. Other men, though... Don't "save" yourself. Love, when you want to love, protect yourself from disease and unwanted pregnancy, and respect others' boundaries.
Porn is not just a problem with Islam. The "Sound of Freedom" Tim Ballard pointed out the demand for porn in USA help fuels child sex trafficking into other ( especially poor) countries. The idea that what you do in the privacy of your home doesn't affect others is a lie. It's very hard to stand against the porn industry when it brings in so much money. When people claim they are not for censorship what they usually are against is any kind of discipline. As an elder said to me in the past ( who have pass away) , He knew I'm a PC gamer, "I wouldn't go back to the "good old days" as those were hard times but TV and computers have ruined people." He knew how people were before everyone had a TV in the living room. You do make a good point that Hijabs are out of date and doesn't nothing to stop people from looking at porn which is just a mouse click away.
The lollipop picture, reminds me of something I watched the other day about a Christian summer camp. In it, the camp counselor had the girls pass around an unwrapped chocolate. Then she asked them if they wanted to eat it. The girls said no, because it was dirty from everyone touching it. The counselor told the girls that men don't want dirty chocolate, either. So, they need to keep themselves wrapped up. Meanwhile, the boys were loudly playing ball outside. Laughing, and yelling, without a care in the world.
I wonder why chocolate is girls? Why can't you give chocolate to boys and say that girls won't like them if they're dirty? I think that makes even more sense, because the vagina can be compared to the mouth, and we don't want to put dirty Snickers bars in our mouths, right?
Honestly, hijab is annoying for the husband as well. It hides your wife's beauty. You barely get to see her beautified. Most of the time shes in a hijab, and not dressed up nice.
My Orthodox Christian ex husband was completely addicted to pron and s3x, while my non believing now fiancé hasn’t watched any since we met (and has watched much less that me in his life anyway - I’ve used it way more often). It such a terrible thing for intimacy but good men are out there
What a person wears should never be the determining factor of how treat a person. Being bad behavior such as being a bad drunk, mouthy, always arguing, complaining, threatening... those are the things that make me judge a person. If I see a naked woman or man, I should not think of checking or leering at their body. I should be asking if they are ok or I should be checking around to see if I stumbled into a nudist beach or nudist colony. 😂😂😂 But showing skin is NOT a reason.
I hate it when women say "ALL men are like this". I know this to not be true even though my own husband turned out to be a pig. My father, brothers, and other men in my life are wonderful. It's upbringing and culture. How did women in the western world get rights? Only because enough men cared to respect us. It sounds bad, but it is true - the only power men have over women is if they don't care about them and treat them like livestock or property. Only a society with mostly good men treat women with the respect we deserve and need. This is why it angers me to see women disrespecting themselves and other women - and disrespecting men because they are doing us all harm. RESPECT and honor are how we live peacefully.
The problem here is hard illogical rules intruding into private space, comes from imaginary false hadiths and the shariah which they think was to be followed universally, those men will come up with those stories to their advantage. The hijabs comes from the rule for rich wives of those arab ruling class of 7th century and not the commoners. Also a part of it comes that culture protecting themselves from harsh desert winds and less populated spaces.
To any women who believe that "Allah" actually wants her to live with an abusive husband I say this Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; Colossians 3:19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
You forgot the first part: Wives submit to your husbands as to the lord for the husband is the head of the wife as also Christ is the head of the church. Here is the problem in ChristianityChrist is perfect but men are not. So let’s face it there will be men who will abuse their wives. So the church and these men use this passage to control women. There are many pretty phrases about how men are supposed to treat their wives but some men don’t do it. So women are dependent on the goodwill of their very human partner. For some women, it could be their death.
I read a Christian verse which said women aren’t allowed to speak in church And that their body is for the man only, to give birth etc 😢 Our religion 100% does not say we have to live with an abusive husband. I’m Muslim Pakistani, and in our culture if a son in law is being an A Hole then our elders speak to him as well as his wife. No, no bad behaviour allowed darling. Stop lying 🙄
@@Jacqueline-4678 So in short, wive's submission to her husband is if he treats her like he is willing to give his life to her. They are ONE BODY you cannot expect your wife to submit to you when you are not able to cherish and protect her with your life.
As Jesus said: lusting for a woman is like adultery in the heart. We all need to repent and find forgiveness in the gift of Jesus Christ. We are all evil but The Lord can make you new.
Hijab or not, one of the tragic consequences of the internet is accessibility to porn. I'm thinking of youths and the effect it will have on them. Parents and women, get special devices/ programs that alerts other responsible adults that someone is accessing pornography in the house.
Hey man, just want to say take care - I fear how many death threats you must get, and yet you stand strong even smiling - braver than most! I really struggle with these topics and your videos helps me feel braver. Would love to see you deconstruct surahs...
Just wondering if anyone feels as if they themselves are exposed when talking to someone wearing a niqab. It seems in this situation that the person can see your expressions and pick up on nuances in the conversation in this way while you don't have that same advantage. Does it seem as if this creates a barrier in understanding that is not found when talking to someone wearing a hijab?
I never got married because I never found anyone with whom I had what you and your wife have. Thank you for reading her essay on this matter. Continue to Love and take care of each other.
In fact, the hijab does not protect women or men. Extremes are always very dangerous. Beauty is there to be seen but without venerating it. We must glorify the one who Created this beauty
Once when we were school prefects, school wanted our opinion over, if they should allow headscarves for Muslim students if they wanted to wear it. And we, non Muslim students thought that’s a good idea (that’s how we’ve been taught right? to be accepting of all cultures etc) but guess who disagreed? Muslim students ! They were totally against the school giving them the choice of wearing headscarves. They said the reason we have a uniform is, everyone should look the same. Now that I’m old enough to understand why they said that I can see many things differently. One might be thinking, the girls be getting the freedom of choice but in reality, someone else be getting the freedom to oppress.
Fun fact: There is actually a lot LESS consumption of prn in the USA and East Asia than there is in the religious Middle East. It is because of a simple reason: The USA and East Asia are materialistic and individualistic cultures. Prn just does not turn on many men there because since they are not involved in what's going on in the videos, they couldn't care less. The widespread availability of it also decreases it's novelty. Whereas in places where it is taboo,it will automatically cause people to seek it out as a symbol of rebellion.
I don't know if it's relevant, but until recently, most people over great areas of the earth always covered their heads. In the US, men began to stop wearing hats in the 1950s. Men in other countries followed soon after. Grandmothers in many places covered their heads, notably in the Mediterranean. Perhaps they still do. Slowly, it appears, head coverings are generally disappearing, and are relegated to the pious. (I like the fix that religious Jewish women use -- a wig! The head is covered, as is the entire body, but the clothing blends with other women in the environment. It covers collar bone, wrists and knees. If stockings are showing, they must have a seem, in order to avoid appearing like flesh. Modest and often fashionable, they blend in while complying with all religious custom. Very clever. But the men's eyes are still given to wandering.) While I don't wish to be contrary, I AM an American born in the early 1950s and we did have a code of public modesty back in the day -- not necessarily by law, but surely by custom. Nobody would walk into a store or a library wearing a tank top. Not even a T-shirt. The only place a naked torso was acceptable was at the beach. Now I always see too much skin, wedgies, sprayed-on pants, fabrics that belong in a night club, not the supermarket, and, of course, body art. I don't think that legislation for such matters is a good idea, but I wish our culture were more inclined to maintain personal modesty where it's appropriate (meaning almost all public places.) So yes, every time I see a woman in a hijab I want to ask "Are you covering because it's a good idea, or is it because you're afraid of God's wrath, or shunning or worse?" The former seems like a very sensible reason to me, while I would call the latter pitiable.
@@Keltos_IC_XC_NIKA Let's use an analogy. If my son feeds, clothes and educates his children because he cares about their growth and welfare, then I am pleased. If, on the other hand, he supports them because he's afraid of losing his inheritance, he might still execute his responsibilities, but the kids will ultimately feel that he does it grudgingly, and only to reap his reward. This would please me much less than if he did these things because he understands and concurs with the virtue of these actions. More importantly, it would also taint the well-being of the children. His compliance with my wants would technically be legal, but the motivation would indeed be pitiable. That's why I honor people who behave respectfully and modestly in their dealings with others; it witnesses their wisdom and understanding. If they behave according to a prescription that says "Do this, do that, or else you'll suffer my punishment", then I give them no honor. From me (though ,aybe not others), they would receive more pity (and indeed, contempt).
@ If a sick man goes to a doctor, is he doing something wrong? Is there some reason to hold him in contempt, and should you pity him because he searches for help? Of course not. Though, you might pity him for his condition. Likewise, if your son does not hold to your own values, you should not hold him in contempt when he raises his children. For if there was not the fear of God in him, he would not raise them at all. And remember that Hell is a choice, and God only permits people to enter. It is the love of God, not the fear of Hell, that keeps a good Christian bound to virtue.
what you say is common sensical, which somehow nobody understands. Why do regions with 100 pc peaceful population, force women to cover up, if all peaceful men abstain from sexual thoughts and acts, outside of marriage?

In Christianity, women do not cover up because of the lust of men. Women cover up because they represent the Church, the bride of Christ. Just as the tabernacle was covered, so too are women called to cover themselves. It has absolutely nothing to do with lust, and it isn't forced.
Im a quran alone muslim and i fully agree. God, the religion needs a reform. The ossue is those scholars, the hadiths, and misinterpretation and just human evil
In sum, humans are humans. Religion cannot supersede human nature. Straight men still do want to look at beautiful women. If a man truly respects women as fellow humans of equal worth and value, he will not violate consent or treat her badly regardless of her clothing.
Exactly, and women should not be punished because men are looking at them. It's not hard to teach men to be respectful of women, it's just that societies are unwilling to challenge the status quo on it.

I feel uneasy about all of this. The problem here is that religion made it impossible for this woman to respect and help her partner. Pornography is not healthy but it is not shameful either and there is no betrayal in this. It is also not a proper addiction in the sense that there is no substance that makes it near impossible to stop. In any case, essentialising the person by calling him a "porn addict" as if it was a character trait is wrong.
One of the hoodies wrote: "...but what helped is knowing that allah wrote this for me and I was meant to go through it." It would have been wise to explain in the video why all hoodies feel so. It's because of one of the Six Pillars of Faith (not to confuse with the Six Pillars of islam), which is about fatalism, which is ONLY found in this "religion", the fundamental belief that the fate of every human being has been written by allah BEFORE one's birth. Therefore they (muslimas) are "meant to go through it", and every beating, polygamy, suffering, talaq, rape, is their destiny, so sick it sounds. That's also the very reason why the bearded clerics never apologize for bombings in the West, they just "regret" it, because an apology would automatically accuse their allah of being evil, and that's haram.
I had a Muslim girlfriend during University days. We used to go clubbing and did all sorts of things. Now she is married and covered. I believe that Muslim girls must have ample freedom before marriage and be allowed to enjoy life
In India such Muslim girls are common who'll have intimate pre marital relationships with Hindu & Christian men but they won't get married as family is very strict, while entering marriage phase they delete all pics, take up hijabs & islamic outlook etc
Any Muslim woman who covers will surely feel closer to Allah swt. We are not covering for men's benefit. Porn addiction is a huge problem globally. It can feel degrading for any spouse. I've seen this in non-Muslim couples, and it can destroy the bond between them. This is a modern world issue that Muslims are also facing in their marriages. It's not healthy for anyone, yet here we are! Whether Muslim or not, choosing to dress modestly is also having self-respect. Both men and women in the west were much more modest 50 years ago. Each spouse must take responsibility and try to do better if they're failing, however big or small. If he is hurting his wife emotionally from watching porn, it could also be seen as not fulfilling her rights in the marriage, because of the damage it's causing.
No living creature should be living under a sheet of anykind, hiding their face and body. You can dress modest without that . Ever wonder why a god is so obsessed with womens sex lives? He would not be, but men who create religions are! Thats why Goddess centered religions do not have these issues. Thanks for this, subscribed!
Everything related to sex is extremely taboo, especially for women and girls, so at most a simple anatomy section in a biology class but anything more than that will be frowned upon (at the lightest)
In Egypt I have seen Muslim men sexually harass fully covered Muslim women, openly, shamelessly, without consequences. As a women here in North America, wearing regular clothing, exposed hair, I have never been spoken to so rudely. Something is wrong…..
Muslim countries are also the highest porn watchers on the planet. Repressed sexuality is half the reason for all the sex crimes.

I just viewed a video --- on RUclips, surprisingly --- Where a man was pouring liquid acid over the COVERED HEADS of two women in front of a seated audience of both male and female witnesses. Even more barbaric than the videos of females being stoned to death and beheaded for not covering their heads. My heart aches for the women who have been brainwashed by a death-cult of psychopathic misogynists into thinking this is somehow their misfortunate birthright for the egregious "sin" of being born female. . . instead of recognizing the evil demons who are gaslighting, brainwashing and forcing these atrocities and abuses upon them.

it's kind of a vicious circle. if men don't oggle or harrass women without hijab, there's no reason to 'protect' yourself by wearing it.

this is a predicament that can happen across all cultures, true, but how many other cultures force their women to fully cover head to toe, to be treated like mindless automata who need permission from their master to even step outside, and all of that just for a paradise that's literally being trapped in a windowless, overly bright white building (if the color of everything in it, including the walls, floor and ceiling, were to be expressed as a hex color, it would be "FFFFFF") to endlessly wait for men with eternal erections coming to have sex with the woman? is that really a paradise any woman would feel enticed to strive for?
I had a “pious” man who closed his shop to pray 5 times a day say to me “ your husband is lucky, if you were my wife I’d keep you up all night”.

A knife, pepper spray and aggressive self-defense protect against aggressors. And you can even walk around in your underwear
very great video.
Oh god this is so true…..
When Humans use the words "don't do x" it weirdly drives the person to consider x as an option. 🤔 Because one has to think about x to know not to do x ...
Therefore its better to give lots of healthy choices.
Muslim men are true problems when they come to inappropriate behavior.

The cloth is also bad for the hair, unnatural and deprives women from the benefits of sunshine.
This is true of all fundamental religions where women are considered less then men.

Does Religion not come under the Cultural banner? Just making irrational/illogical comments to put money in the Tech titians pockets.
Thank you
The problem here is hard illogical rules intruding into private space, comes from imaginary false hadiths and the shariah which they think was to be followed universally, those men will come up with those stories to their advantage. The hijabs comes from the rule for rich wives of those arab ruling class of 7th century and not the commoners. Also a part of it comes that culture protecting themselves from harsh desert winds and less populated spaces.
For the algorithm
I wonder what your thoughts are on the UK grooming gangs and why these men do this?
Complicated situation. Struggling to figure it out still
@FriendlyExmuslim I would really appreciate your thoughts on it. Your take as someone who has a birds eye view of the culture
Because they're following their idol.
They must be so stupid that they can't relate to adult women
Thank you for bringing this up Irena, it's a terrible problem and has not been discussed enough until now.
To any women who believe that "Allah" actually wants her to live with an abusive husband I say this
Ephesians 5:25
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
Colossians 3:19
Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
Christianity if not worse, it’s definitely as bad as Islam in every aspect!
I read a Christian verse which said women aren’t allowed to speak in church
And that their body is for the man only, to give birth etc 😢
Our religion 100% does not say we have to live with an abusive husband.
@YoucefB-h3q Really? Can you give me some?
Great content, Sameer.
Thank you for your unbiased views. I so wish there were a lot more like you and your wife living here. God bless you
So nice of you
BH' Thank you for sharing !
as an introverted woman around strangers in the workplace or street,i find it useful
Hijab and everything Islam is to protect men from having to exercise self control or any other kind of manly principles that make them real men.
Just a misconception... hijab isn't in the quran. Female dress is covering privates, butt, boobs cleavage
As Jesus said: lusting for a woman is like adultery in the heart. We all need to repent and find forgiveness in the gift of Jesus Christ. We are all evil but The Lord can make you new.
Oh, sure, trade one set of crazy for another.
@ Insults are not content. It just shows you have nothing to offer.
Religions love to tell you you are a piece of shit for having natural feelings. Crime thoughts are too 1984 for my taste.
This is too 1984 for my taste
@ Another non-reply.
Appreciate that! 🙏
They need to put VR navigation goggles on Muslim MEN so they can walk around and see no women at all.
For sure
Niqab is so silly...33 52 if the Qur'an says the Prophet can't marry more women even if their beauty pleases him. Clearly beauty is down
If I found this out, I would get an annolment since I had no idea who I was marrying.
such thing does note exist in islam. even in western world you would not get annulment for that reason.

Thank you for the truth!
God bless you always!
💯❤️🔥
All these excuses mean nothing-it’s just about controlling women.
It is a control thing of husbands over their wife. Not acceptable in this country. I love the feeling of freedom. With it comes responsibility
Hijab is not protection, it's a chain.
Then why not mans ' beauty is only for woman?
If a woman's beauty is only for one man then a man's gaze must only be for one woman.
Whereas in places where it is taboo,it will automatically cause people to seek it out as a symbol of rebellion.
ikr, plus the middle east is known for buying a lot of vpns to bypass p*rn restrictions. the hypocrisy 💀
But the men's eyes are still given to wandering.)
While I don't wish to be contrary, I AM an American born in the early 1950s and we did have a code of public modesty back in the day -- not necessarily by law, but surely by custom.
I don't think that legislation for such matters is a good idea, but I wish our culture were more inclined to maintain personal modesty where it's appropriate (meaning almost all public places.)
So yes, every time I see a woman in a hijab I want to ask "Are you covering because it's a good idea, or is it because you're afraid of God's wrath, or shunning or worse?" The former seems like a very sensible reason to me, while I would call the latter pitiable.
If you find it pitiable that people are afraid of God's wrath, I wonder why?
Islamic women resent and feel jealousy toward women that are more liberal?
Yes they do
definitely, women who aren’t submissive and who live a free life are their worst nightmare
Virginity in Islam is not equal to someone who have not sex... it is someone who has not been married.
Its all about power and domination, the more I learn, the more I dislike.
hijab is considered as jihad to defend islam... nothing else
Great video ❤
Tehran Taboo is brilliant movie highlighting these very themes
what you say is common sensical, which somehow nobody understands. Why do regions with 100 pc peaceful population, force women to cover up, if all peaceful men abstain from sexual thoughts and acts, outside of marriage?
Indian men aren't any different irrespective 0f religion. Some cultures are problematic. Our culture failed to raise good men.any religion extremism( irrespective of Joblessness)+ politics = bad combination .heard of B4 movement in s korea.
@@drjagritisingh6569 So you’re racist?
In Christianity, women do not cover up because of the lust of men. Women cover up because they represent the Church, the bride of Christ. Just as the tabernacle was covered, so too are women called to cover themselves. It has absolutely nothing to do with lust, and it isn't forced.
Im a quran alone muslim and i fully agree.
God, the religion needs a reform. The ossue is those scholars, the hadiths, and misinterpretation and just human evil
"I was deceived" 🥺..... Good luck with that 🤔

Aw thanks Dwayne

In sum, humans are humans. Religion cannot supersede human nature. Straight men still do want to look at beautiful women.
If a man truly respects women as fellow humans of equal worth and value, he will not violate consent or treat her badly regardless of her clothing.
Exactly, and women should not be punished because men are looking at them. It's not hard to teach men to be respectful of women, it's just that societies are unwilling to challenge the status quo on it.
I hope it's ok to subscribe. I am a white Christian woman but I am interested to try to understand the way other faiths work.
Definitely subscribe. If you're Christian, seek out the truth.
I will say to u sis, "Islam " as you see it is based on culture, hadiths (fabrications written 2 centuries after the Prophet died) and the koran and scholars. So do proceed with caution. Alot kf ppl misinterpret the quran. I'm quran alone Muslim

One of the hoodies wrote: "...but what helped is knowing that allah wrote this for me and I was meant to go through it."
It would have been wise to explain in the video why all hoodies feel so. It's because of one of the Six Pillars of Faith (not to confuse with the Six Pillars of islam), which is about fatalism, which is ONLY found in this "religion", the fundamental belief that the fate of every human being has been written by allah BEFORE one's birth. Therefore
they (muslimas) are "meant to go through it", and every beating, polygamy, suffering, talaq, rape, is their destiny, so sick it sounds. That's also the very reason why the bearded clerics never apologize for bombings in the West, they just "regret" it, because an apology would automatically accuse their allah of being evil, and that's haram.
The comments on this video are wild. Obsessing over what someone else does alone is controlling and unhealthy
Everyone should watch this sickening 😤 😭 😡and disgusting🤮 documentary of the dancing boys of Afghanistan.😡😡😡
Then tell me again Why???
Quranically women cover breasts cleavage butt and boobs. That's it. So wdym? Dressing modestly isspecidied for the mosque :)
Thanks

Just curious is there sex education in muslim schools?
Doubt it
Big No they dont believe in that.....just sad
Everything related to sex is extremely taboo, especially for women and girls, so at most a simple anatomy section in a biology class but anything more than that will be frowned upon (at the lightest)
Also like "why would you need sex education, you'll learn everything you need after getting married"
