Gute alte Zeit 🥲

    One of my favorite games I still enjoy the music. This was the level when the aliens stopped pulling their punches.

      This music was what made me appreciate music in the first place. Nirvana, Soundgarden, Ac/Dc, Michael Jackson, Madonna... all of that was just noise people listened to until I heard this, and finally I understood why people had such passion for music. It took many years before I could find music like it. Ace of Base and Prodigy were the closest things that came to it.

    I bought this game from a game rental store that was shutting down for 5 bucks in the 90s! Didnt get into strategy games or builders till later on but did attempt it! Need to revisit this one!

    I'm so glad I have a Hyperkin Retron 2. It plays all my old NES and SNES cartridge games, and this is one of my favorite SNES games. I liked to play it in practice mode and see how quickly I could cover the map and how many times I could annihilate the aliens. It took a while, and it never stopped being fun👍

    personally. I still play this game off and on. I love the music. love the game, wish I could find a game on today's generation consoles with the same charm. But sadly I have yet to find anything. either way, I absolutely love this game

      911meltdown2 I would play it more often if it had a world randomization feature. Something in particular I like about the music are the length of the tracks, it doesn't feel like a dreadfully repetitive loop.

      There does not exist a human on planet earth that enjoys this game but hates the music that comes with it.

    As a kid I never learned how to play this game, so I would just be stuck goofing around. Music is very memorable though.

      I probably should try to do so on a harder difficulty, for a bit of a challenge.

      I can appreciate what was done with the background, the consultant screen and the other menus. It looks a lot more fleshed out. But I like the PC controls, personally.

      Edgar Cedeno you can, if you had them, use the snes keyboard and mouse with the game. it is indeed programmed.

      For a while there were building and stats that I had no idea what they were. Some are really mundane to be honest.

    If you played it with the SNES Mouse how does it compare to the somewhat awkward Control Pad?

    • @krevex831
      @krevex831 4 года назад +1

      You had to scroll to the edge of the screen to get any movement and there was no way to change the sensitivity of how fast it scrolled. I remember it was even more frustrating to play it with the mouse than to use the controller. Menu navigation was a bit quicker though!

      @@krevex831 Cheers for the info' I have the mouse but it needs regular cleaning what with being a ball based design, it's good for CANNON FODDER though.

    Not as good as the Amiga version (graphically) but still a good port.
