- Hi, this is the first time I am providing my own voice, sorry for the bad English and accent. This tutorial is just to demonstrate and explore a new material library and over 500 new material presets from V-Ray for 3DsMax. So am using 3Ds Max 2018 and some of the presets are saved/made in higher version so is there any way I can use the missing presets in 2018?

great video , really . can you share with us how we can do to find the path from texture, i have a problem with that when i add a material library to material editor , some of those texture are missing ( in black) so i dont know how to get the path to load . right now im with vray 5.1 update 1 in 3ds max 2020. thank you for you help
Go to file- reference -asset tracking toggle -paths- configure project paths-external files- add.... Then locate your texture.
@@Platformstudio sure i did , but may i explain better .the material library from new update vray 5.1 doesnt come with texture folder or im not sure where its come
@@javiermauriciovelasquezcas4523 its in documents- vray material library, if you're using pc, if you are using mac i don't know. It should be in documents folder in windows.
@@Platformstudio yes in documents just got a library materials but dont have a bitmap textures or any other texture file just that

i can download but cannot load into 3ds max. the folder wont show up when i try to load it in, the files are in MAT file. Mine is 2019 and vray 5. why eh?
