I've built and upgraded a lot of PCs, but never done any soldering before. Is there a model or brand of soldering tool you would recommend for this kind of work? And the material used when soldering is called flux I think? Is there different kinds of flux for different jobs?
any soldering Iron which can heat upto 400 degrees celsius should be fine. brand would depend on the location , soldering station is too much cost for beginners but if you can it would better. soldering wire with lead is easy to mange as long as you dont inhale the fumes but there is solder wire without lead as well. flux helps to solder and desolder easily there is one i like is called no clean flux which is recommended. i hope this helps. please stay tuned to my channel for my future videos.
