    You have used FAP cleaning product near the top of the catalytic converter. This foam could not get into the FAP filter because the FAP is located in the lower part of the exhaust. In short, you put foam in the wrong hole where you should have :)

      this car doesn't have fap. it has dpf system wich is located right where he sprays the foam

    I've literally just fixed my Citroen Berlingo 1.6HDi using the same approach but with Mannol DPF cleaner. I could not get the O2 sensor off with just the spanner so I ordered a 90mm 22mm long reach socket that has a gap cut into one side so that you can fit the O2 sensor wiring through in order to loosen the nut. I used a breaker bar on the socket as it was very tight. I did not even use the whole 500ml can. I let the car idle for a while then took it for an 18 mile drive up and down the motorway. The DPF warning light as well as the EML came on one more time to put the car in limp mode but I pulled over into the hard shoulder and cleared the fault code to take back out of limp mode and went back to the motorway driving. You can easily clear the error code causing limp mode with just a cheap code reader off Ebay. The port to connect your code reader can be found inside the glovebox or around the steering column if you are in Europe. I hope this is useful info as it really can be done and it's not complicated.

    if it was as easy as that, manufactures wouldn't have installed dpf anyway.... LOL

    Hi does this really works? I have the same problem on peugeot 3008 1.6hdi 2011... I will try it tomorrow, how long does it need to leave after you spray dpf cleaner?

    How does anyone know you have a blocked DPF ?, as far as I can see you simply used a can of cleaner then started the engine, The engine started fine , with this in mind I think this could be yet another fake video

    • @MrMaster2262
      @MrMaster2262 3 месяца назад +1

      The video isn't fake 😂 it just says "how to
      unblock a blocked DPF" the engine will
      still start and you can still drive... the spray
      loosens the soot which will help to clear the
      DPF when the engine reaches a certain
      temperature (600°C) while driving... also
      helps to add a diesel additive into the fuel
      tank which supports DPF regeneration
      this will also help the soot to clear at a
      much lower temperature while driving.

      Petrol engines doesn't have a DPF
      (DPF - Diesel Particulate Filter)
      _________👆_______________

    • @lucidfairytales
      @lucidfairytales 3 месяца назад +1

      @@MrMaster2262 yeah but it works on the same principle as a catalytic converter. The cleaning agent is the same and they both have a ceramic mesh

      @@lucidfairytales The cleaning agent would still do its job... i don't disagree. i thought you were assuming that the petrol engine had a DPF 😉👍

      @@MrMaster2262 thank you for the tip brother, I don't know how to explain this but my car feels kind of choked when I'm driving like it doesn't have full power, also a bit of rough idling when starting up the car, gas smell from the exhaust and the exhaust also has soot in it. Could it be a bad Purge valve? I know the cleaning would help but if I don't sell the problem of what caused the suit and the congestion in the catalytic converter it will repeat itself

    • @MrMaster2262
      @MrMaster2262 3 месяца назад

      @@lucidfairytales The loss of power could be
      something simple like a dirty EGR valve (clean
      or replace) also check around the hoses for any
      signs of being dirty from oil or carbon deposits...
      cracks or tares in hoses could be causing a vacuum
      leak which will also result in loss of power. If
      you have a OBD2 reader do a Live Data check
      when vehicle is idling and test that your accelerator
      pedal matches the revs (rpm ×1000) on the Live
      Data check... some models the throttle position
      sensor on the accelerator pedal needs replacing
      which can also cause loss of power if the sensor
      isn't telling the car how much throttle to give. It
      could also be the butterfly on the manifold which
      has become dirty overtime and not opening or
      closing properly. it is easy to clean with brake
      cleaner, an old tooth brush and a rag to wipe it
      with... I would start with the EGR first and see
      if that resolves your issues. 😉👍
      I hope this helped... Good luck

    Wish it was that easy

    • @MrMaster2262
      @MrMaster2262 3 месяца назад +2

      Use the same method with the spray but
      also add a diesel additive into the fuel tank
      that supports DPF regeneration... this will
      help the soot to burn off at a much lower
      temperature when driving... you simply add
      the bottle to the fuel tank right before you
      top up at a fuel station... its that simple.
      you don't need to waste money getting
      someone out to flush the DPF
      through costing you hundreds of pounds...
      the DPF was designed to clear itself when
      engine temperature reaches a certain amount.
      its just over time the soot becomes a little
      overwhelming and needs additives to help
      loosen it up which will burn off easily
      when you are driving 👉(it is that easy)👈
