If the humans were the only one with FTL, how does the alien ship keep up with them? Also if stars are light years apart, would it take multiple years for the alien ship to keep up with the human ship zipping past the stars?
The story doesn't make any sense at all.. first of all they're going faster than light and there's no one else out there so why would they go to an obvious trap. How are the aliens keeping up with them if they don't have FTL travel? Why would they respond to another immediate call for help after just getting out of a trap? How are the probes they send out able to investigate and get back to the ship if it's the only one with FTL travel? How can the captain of the enemy ship watch the human ship if it is going FTL ?
The narration seems remarkably bland. Have you never told a story before? You don't credit any author for the story so I assume you wrote it or had a bot write it. The plot requires a lot of suspension of disbelief. "We're testing a ground breaking FTL drive. How could we possibly escape from this attacker?" Hmmm, let me think about that one for a bit. You Need To Either Fix The Sub Titles Or Stop Showing Them. It Shouldn't Be Hard - You Obviously Have A Script For The Story.
