My yamaha dirtbike locked up

- After a rebuild i drove my bike 20 miles and then the engine locked up. It was 1 am and i had to wait on transport. What failed to the motor? Watch the video and you will see that it was not that big of a problem. engine blows-up
Nice bike, my buddy has a 86 dt100 that’s super low on compression. Needa change the rings but the bikes awesome. Thing still turns over a couple times tho 36 years later lol crazy. Hella trooper

@@Builditathome-Restoration I meeaaannn if the mint was on the sidewalk for 36 years then yeah lol, it’s not too bad but could use some love. Parts are pretty fun to try and find for it too hah. What year dt is that one?

Just wanted to ask if you know where could i find plastics for my yamaha dt50r? They dont make them anymore i think.. but mabye somewhere they still make them or something that fits the dt50r?

That was the same problem i had, the plastics are not made anymore. I could not find them my plastics where painted.

What is the problem that you have?

Could be the cylinder locked up or crank locked up or kickstart mechanism broke or gearbox iam not sure
