Gun Safety: Unload and Lock a Lee Enfield

In this video, I explain how to unload and make safe a Lee Enfield Rifle.
Owning a firearm is your right. Being responsible is your duty.
Please remember to treat, never, keep, keep.
Treat every firearm as if it was loaded.
Never point a firearm at anything you do not intend to shoot.
Keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you are ready to fire.
Keep the firearm on safe until you are ready to fire.
Teach your children, that if they see an unsecured firearm, to "Stop. Don't touch it. Walk away. Tell an adult."
You may very well be that adult. These series of videos will help ensure that no matter what firearm you encounter, you'll be able to safe it and ensure it's properly secured.

That's not the unload drill for an Enfield. There is no reason to remove the magazine unless for cleaning. The unload is performed by working the bolt back and forth until the weapon is clear. Point it in safe direction then ease springs. Then reapply the safety. If you wish to make the weapon entirely safe simply remove the bolt.
