I really loved Roland's clear voice and when I heard he left Soinc Syndicate I was like 'Why?? He cannot do this!!' And now without Richard it isn't Sonic Syndicate any more ...
as some have said those ones who miss the old Sonic search for The Unguided is the band formed by Richard, Roger and Roland (in their lives John and another guy is with them too) and on november 30 will be released their first album.
Everyone have said everything they have. But, I agree with 90% Of the posts, regarding SS becoming a Sell-out band. I thought Nathan would do good in SS, after Rolands departure, which was heavily disturbing to know. Anyways, but after I heard Burn this City, I just thought of it as another Cartoon opener to be quite frank. I hope SS now can go back into their times in like Jailbreak and Aftermath. But honestly, Roland is the main in there, His voice is very unique.
@MyPricken Becuse Roland was a awesome person! and a singer is a big deal in a band. You can replace a screamer/growler but not a clean voice! I think Nathen makes Sonic more at the pop-metal genre its like dead by april soon.
@markusjaa He was the best guitarist in the band i think, he recorded the solos or something my friend said, and he knows roland and rest of the band, he is a hella guitarist :P
@MsSarahCookies Its not all thanks to Nathan, Richard stated in his blog that several members "sold out" and changed their musical direction because NuclearBlast asked for it.. But that he still has respect for Roger and John!
yap yap, slipknot is like my alltime fav band since like 2001 ^_^ and yea. 2 me their best live show was Disasterpiece. I didnt see it live but the DVD xD
@Niniriana Richard and Roger are brothers, Robin is their cousin .. Richard left the band but Roger decided to stay but his still making a project with his brother ... According to Richard he wants to bury the hatchet with Robin : /
@Yo0te ok I may say that roland was a great singer and I miss him to but when sonic syndicate made burn this city with nathan thay made it to show what nathan was capable to,with lots of hard tones. You will se that nathan can be just as good as roland :)
to be honest i liked the old sonic and and i like the new sonic, and i think nathan is the better singer, but roland was pretty dammm good! and so what they sold out... monsters a kick ass drink and who wouldnt want to drive monster 4by 4s and atvs! And if you like them it shouldn't really matter. btw love this acoustic set

I think it is kinda hard for Roger in these times, because in my opinion what Rich said was really aggressive, and even if Nathan did some Interviews, saying he was sorry for it, I think the band made a false decision, saying he was leaving for personal problems. I don't think Roger will stay in both bands and has to make a desicion. And Karin and Robin won't follow, I think
id have to say slipknot is the better band overall...i love both bands about the same but slipknot a little more. Slipknot is a older band and has a lot greater achievements as a band overall too. They put on one of the best live shows going. both bands rock still !,,,,!
