The accuracy of Amp emulation, simulation, profiling, and modeling these days is crazy good. I happened to have gone to an Audiologist today for a checkup. The results were Good hearing, no hearing loss, normal range. I couldn't hear any significant differences between the Pedal and real Amp in the Blind Test. Both sounded great. Thanks
This is probably the best mix and riffs you’ve made to date! 1:44 those hammer ons with the guitar and bass sound killer! Pedal sounds really good and close but the real amp has some more bite and saturation but definitely the best 5150 in a box out right now

I actually got the A/B wrong because I thought B sounded a little more rounded off like a real amp would...and I play a 5150 every day. So that's pretty incredible.

The pedal sounds glorious! The difference is very subtle, but I think the head extends the high-end a little bit more than the pedal. In the mix, it's almost indiscernible.
This sounds amazing! During the video i noticed your PdeQ pedal in the background, good choice! The blind comparison is very impressive, because i couldn't tell the difference between the pedal and the real amp.
even thru the closed macbook internal speakers I was right in difference between Amp and Pedal. Its the same difference with all hardware and dsp'd sounds: especially in the chug-chug-chug palmmutted zero frets you can here a clear difference in the feeling...like its stimulating a different pair of hairs in the internal ear :D It is still awesome what you can simulate today...in a mastered mix you would easily compensate that nuance ...also: the price, portability ... On the other side: the more you are experienced with playing guitar, its getting more important how music feels to yourself. Theres nothing better than turning on a cab at home, seeing the tubes glowing and start playing
These UA pedals sound awesome… I have an hx stomp that one sounded also very closed on your latest A/B comparison. Lately I have been trying to replicate the 5150 sound with my Neunaber Neuron Preamp pedal, but I think I’m missing the power amp section, will try to compare it with the preamp on the Helix side and see what happens.

sound really great in dynamic. i only hear that the anti have a little more in 300-450 hz and so it get not the clarity of the 6505. but this is not much maybe 1 db or so

But do you all really think the drunks at the bar or even at a full blown show of 5000 people or more really give a shit let alone can hear your tone/ sound clearly enough to actually care. I have arguments with my other guitarist abou this all the time. The age of amps are going to be a thing of the past. They will become collectors items that sit at home and collect dust or just used for recording at home. These pedals and plugins have outshined amps and will continue to do so. Now if only we could find a levitating 4x12 cab that we can push a button and it floats so we don't have to carry them. Lol😂😂😂

That was my observation too with headphones. In a mix they're virtually identical, which is great!
