I hit my cymbals with proper technique but at the same time power. But they seem like they would improve my setup and takedown time tremendously!!

Are these stands as strong as the heavier doubled braced stands?? I'm an aggressive drummer. These stands look pretty neat. I just want to know if they're sturdy!

How tall does the snare stand get?

Big problem with a lot of companies! Wondering the same thing!

Much better innovation than Gibraltar DW, Canopus, and Tama's current offering of flatbase stands, and are less expensive. Pearl rules the drum hardware market, period..I'm going to pick up the cymbal stand..

If you look at the rockers from the 60s ,they had very thin hardware that was worse than these stands.Might check this out.

Is it possible to invert the hihat stand legs in the same way the cymbal stand?

Dude, did you purchase the hihat stand? Did you manage to invert the legs? or maybe remove the legs so that it serves as a no-leg hihat stand? I am planning to clamp it on my left bass drum, and I am still on the fence between buying the H150S, or the H2050 which is a lot more expensive than this one..

2 years later yamaha lightweight hw smashes every lightweight stand out but the pearl h150s because of the swivel base. It is the only thing saving it from the yamaha lightweight takeover

usually drummers who want a more compact kit (maybe just for less movement in general, or something else.) Probably the biggest upside to using these are for snare stand mounted toms and more freedom to use a double pedal.

I saw this video when it came out 6 years ago and thought this was a good idea. I had the same thought then as I do now but I never commented. I have large feet and find it terribly difficult to splash my hats with a 3 legged stand while 2 legged hi hats aren't terribly stable. I've always preferred the feel of flat based hat stands for that reason. Oh yeah, and use a double pedal. I ordered this exact set but not from Lone Star though. Want to know why? B/C this smug ass hat thinks it's funny that anyone with a double pedal would use this stand. NO, he thinks it's freaking hilarious. How many sales did you lose here LSP? Who knows, it was your choice.
