Where have you been all my life Solo? In this uncertain yet electronic era it is great to have this option. The MRAD reticle and sub-tensions terrific. I am definitely going to be a customer!!

Definitely a good idea to include something like that in here- just to fill you in a little bit, the top thinner ring is the reticle focus and the bottom thicker ring is the image focus and they focus idependently of each other. Personally, I am able to adjust both without moving the object out of my sight easily enough. Of course, the steadier you can hold the monocular (a rest helps), the easier this is to do. Thanks for the feedback and definitely let us know if you have further questions.

happy to try to help, I love Vortex a Strikefire served me very well (and still does on a mini 14 ) until I could buy an Aimpoint for my AR I wanted the vortex 3x magnifier but they seem to be gone :( noone has one in stock, or an ETA for more. Your company rocks I hope you guys stick around for a long time. Ive never been disappointed with a vortex product, some of the accessories leave room for improvement (pouch, 2x S.F. magnifier) but at least they come with it. Keep up the good work guys

Oh hey something I would love to see is a little bracket that mounts to the clip stud and cantilevers down to a standard camera tripod socket, a killflash and lens covers would be nice too. Also a molle pouch with padding/stiff sides and side pockets would be perfect. you put out the only sub 200$ RT optic worth a damn, square it away with extras and people will go nuts, everyone that has seen mine wants one, and most of them said the pouch sucks btw. that mesh covered monstrosity needs to go

Very nice monocular! Why no tripod thread?
    Sorry...
    Not my scope!

I just got my solo RT and love it, like he said I find it very easy to adjust on the fly as it were, the main focus is a bit stiff but its super precise. the reticle focus is a bit tougher to adjust it seems to "stick" but since you can focus the lens without the reticle blurring out no big deal. just to warn you this is a big monocular I doubt it will fit in a flashbang pouch, which would be nice because the optic rocks, but the case it comes with is an open sided joke sry vortex but its true

Be cool if the front end was threaded for like a camera filter or something to protect the main element. Also yeah, to the tripod mount. Has this been revised at all since this video was published?

James Bond No tripod mount has been added to the Solo- just the Recons have that right now. Good feedback, though- we can pass that along to research and development. - Jimmy, jjordan@vortexoptics.com

Vortex Optics Is there a killflash that will fit over top the objective? Or some other lens cap type device?

Definitely a way to mount it on a tripod would be great really wanting something like this to add to my hunting gear but need a way to tripod mount it

Definitely good feedback, Daniel. I can pass that along. If tripod compatibility is something you're interested in, I would maybe check out the Recon. As long as you're ok with 15x, price difference, etc. I think it would be an awesome choice. Thanks again, Daniel, and please let us know if you have further questions. - Jimmy, jjordan@vortexoptics.com

An adapter has been created for this monocular but it is expensive...$25. See this website to buy one - www.shapeways.com/product/RUUZJ39AE/solo-rt-monocular-tripod-adapter?optionId=65911707

Can it be submerged and will it float?

Why don't you show how to focus it while using it. You see this id the internet and I can't really know what it will feel like trying to turn the focus ring while looking at something using one hand but at least you could have shown me how easy (hopefully) it could be.
