I had nothing but rejection in my career, being a Lebanese trying to escape the war I tried every single English speaking and European country, been trying to immigrate. For various reasons I was never able to get a position in any company I liked, but from freelancing I made enough money to buy 4 apartments and an office in the last 20 years. Every 4 to 5 years I buy a house. I will rely on rental income when I retire. Good luck people. I have many stories one of them I applied at Jasmax here in Auckland and the lady told me to learn revit and apply again. I cannot buy a house with Revit, from freelancing I can make $50 to $100 an hour, Revit technicians make $25 or $30 an hour?

Hey Bob first of let me say you have a really inspiring story that i really connect with. Can you suggest a good site to start freelancing or do you reccomend sending your portfoilo to arch viz companies?

Thanks fabio! I found out that Mir is looking for senior artist and junior artist. So I am gonna apply as a junior artist and send my humble portfolio (2 years of experience). If they reject me, I won't be sorry because I suppose there are many talented artists applying right now and I am from Argentina, very far from Norway. Anyway, I am evolving rapidly and making better visualizations, so sooner or later I will find the desired job. Wish me luck!

Hey Fabio, great video man. This is my second time trying to comment on this video (damn YT). Just wanted to say great work and a lot of it, hope people can see just how much love, effort and time you put into these, keep on going!
All great points, if I had to add anything it would be to keep updating your folio and send it out to the same companies over time, it really helps. We had someone in the office who came in when they sent their folio a 3rd time and we saw the evolution.

Hey Fabio! So glad I found your channel :) I'm trying to get into archviz but not sure if I should use redshift or Vray for C4D? I can't find many tutorials for the vray 3.7... Do you maybe have some tutorials?

I do not really have a lot of practical experience with Redshift, I have used V-Ray quite a bit and I can vouch for how good it is ;) Also Corona is awesome! I have personally not made tutorials for these. You can find some old tutorials I did on the official V-Ray for Cinema 4D page but that would be all :) Cheers!
