Alison.. You could put your flower🌺 garland under your shelves or around your coffee table.
Use the extra flowers 🌸as napkin rings.. Just stick them on some strips of plain white/cream card in a loop to ring around the napkin.
PS. Concerning your bird house🐦🏡.. You need to find out what birds nest🐦 in your area and what they like/need as nesting boxes.. In my area the bird nest boxes have to be a certain hight off the ground, and face a certain direction (N-S-E-W) and some need certain hole sizes and or perch sticks at the entrance to the hole... Otherwise the birds in my area won't use them!
