There are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy situation, but such execution is usually carried out by an investment specialist
I've been in touch with a financial analyst ever since I started investing. Knowing today's culture The challenge is knowing when to purchase or sell when investing in trending stocks, which is pretty simple. On my portfolio, which has grown over $900k in a little over a year, my adviser chooses entry and exit orders.
My CFA NICOLE ANASTASIA PLUMLEE a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further... She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market..
My primary concern is how to grow my reserve of $300k which has been sitting duck since forever with zero to no gains, sure I know the risks of short term gains are much greater but if well managed one'd make a killing, am I wrong?
The current state of the market may bring opportunities to increase profits quickly, but professional assistance is required in order to put such a plan into action.
Many people minimise the importance of counsel until their own feelings become overwhelming. A few summers ago, following a protracted divorce, I needed a significant push to keep my firm solvent. I looked for licenced advisors and found someone with the highest qualifications. She has contributed to my reserve increasing from $275k to $850k despite inflation.
Lucinda Margaret Crist is the licensed coach I use. Just research the name. You'd find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
I just googled her and I'm really impressed with her credentials; I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get. I just scheduled a caII.
Honestly, this concerns me and has left me uneasy. Especially this potential depression, no more a recession. I'm unsure about my $130K account strategy, considering the uncertainty of this whole recession mostly.
Agreed! this is why I work with one. My $520k portfolio is well-matched for every market season yielding 85% rise from early last year to date. I and my advsor are working on more figures for this year. IMO, financial advisors are the most sought-after professionals after doctors.
I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.
Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown
It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.
this is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors i can get on the phone with? i'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation
Not to blow her trumpet, but '' KRISTIN AMY ROSE '' is exceptional in navigating tough markets. She has been planner ever since we met in London global economy conference. she's verifiable , so you could just search her and book an apointment. good luck!
Just found your channel. I've only watched 2 videos but in both you are letting people know what a dividend is. It's refreshing that you understand what a dividend is & isnt. Way too many people think it's free money, which is hilarious. Keep up the good work!
I'm already investing in stocks by watchiing youtube videos, but my portfolio of around $120k is not getting much yield. what strategy should I ue at this point to make gains?
Accurate asset allocation is crucial, I used hedging strategies to allocate part of my portfOlio to defensive assets for market downturns. Expert guidance is vital for achieving this. This approach has helped me stay finan-cially secure for over five years, yielding nearly $1 million in returns on invest-ments.
Purchasing a stock may seem straightforward, but selecting the correct stock without a proven strategy can be exceedingly challenging. I've been working on expanding my $210K portfolio for a while, and my primary obstacle is the lack of clear entry and exit strategies. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
The strategies are quite rigorous for the regular-Joe. As a matter of fact, they are mostly successfully carried out by pros who have a great deal of skill and knowledge to pull such trades off.
Even with the right strategies and appropriate assets, investment returns can differ among investors. Recognizing the vital role of experience in investment success is crucial. Personally, I understood this significance and sought guidance from Desiree Ruth Hoffman, significantly growing my account to nearly a million. Strategically withdrawing profits just before the market correction, I'm now seizing buying opportunities once again.
That's incredible! How can I connect with the person who helps you with investments, if you don't mind sharing? I could use some guidance at the moment.

I presently reside in a rural area of Kansas and officially retired at the end of October. I say retired because I left my job without having another one and I had no intention of returning to work a full-time job. I do have a small amount of side income from investments, but that is all I need to live on. My savings is smaller than most retirees', but I am not touching that money and I am watching it grow
Those of you who are newer are paying your dues, gaining experience, and trying to lock up some profit, but I encourage you to put some away for the long term. If you can use a Roth IRA, put some away tax-free to save for your retirement and benefit from you know growth in the overall market and compound interest as it um as it starts to gain. I worked hard in 2019 2020 21 22 and put some money into the market long term sitting in a pretty nice spot.
I started off slowly and built up my initial investment at $6. I made a small profit at the top of the candle, which now dips and I added back. This was my first trade, and I made $1,000 on it. After that, I increased the size of my position, becoming more aggressive and capping it at about 10,000 shares. Looking back, this was a nice move from 650 up to 750 all the way up to $8, and we peaked at $8.30 before pulling back.
Who is this person you work with? I have tried getting around me and it is practically impossible to get one that doesn’t charge exorbitantly. Can you also share what the fee structure is like?
*Layan Talia Chokr* is the licensed fiduciary I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
My spouse and I are adding a variety of stocks/ETF to my present holdings for the long term, We've set aside $250k to start following inflation-indexed bonds and stocks of companies with solid cash flows, I believe it is a good time to capitalize on the market for long-term gains, but it wouldn't hurt to know means of actualizing short term profit.
The market is volatile at this time, hence i will suggest you get yourself a financial-advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on the shares/ETF you focus on.
Yes its important. I've been in constant touch with a Financial Analyst for approximately 8 months. You know, these days it's really easy to buy into trending stocks, but the task is determining when to sell or keep. That's where my manager comes in, to help me with entry and exit points in the industries I'm engaged in. Can’t say I regret it, I’m 40% up in profits just in 5months with my initial capital of $160k

I'm tired of these new buys every week, just to make up some assets with low percentage on my $236k portfolio and try to keep everything around 10%. Do you think these stocks you just mentioned are safe buys to outperform the market this year?
Stop buying every stocks you see some youtuber recommend sometimes they do that to pump their bags. Seek guidance from a financial advisor instead of relying on RUclips for investment advice.
Same, I use RUclips for research only. All major investment decisions go through my advisor. The market's instability makes DIY risky. You don't need to find the next NVDA to succeed in investing. Opt for top-notch ETFs, dividend aristocrats, and a trusted advisor. I've turned $20k into $10k in annual dividends, a major milestone.
Thanks for sharing. I curiously searched for her full name and her website popped up immediately. I looked through her credentials and did my due diligence before contacting her.
I remember working at Vanguard during the 2007-008 crash. Today's drop is very reminiscent. but i think it's great opportunity to pick up some dividend gems at a great starting yield
I totally agree with you. It's a sick game but you learn to play or stay poor for life. I hate that companies only provide 401k in stock markets that crash every 5-10-15 years. This just steals so much of hardworking peoples life savings and it's disgusting. I hate it but you either understand the machine or you are just numb to it when it happens.
Most difficult part about this current market environment for new investors, is filtering out the good from the bad. Just because a company is down 50%+, does not make it a sound investment. Do your OWN due diligence & invest in great companies or IFs/ETFs.
More diversified with my trade so it's not like i have a particular fund i invest in. Plus i don't do that myself. I mirror the trades of Mildred Geneva Hyder. A US regulated BS and she has been very consistent. Since my returns has grown at a tremendous pace, unlike i can say for my IRA which has been trudging along. my holdings only mirrors what she trades not just on some particular industries of my choosing.
I like this guy. New to channel. Good info. The one thing that drives me berserk is the hand gesture wiping off the circles. There has to be a hot key on the stylus to undo last motion. Constantly wiping the screen clean COMPLETELY DISTRACTS me from the info. It’s a cool gadget to use, I would honestly rather hear the information without any interaction rather than the constant distraction of circle/wipe over and over. Just my $.02.
Uncle Paul rocks once again... This is the second time I earned $25K from market after taking your advice for Nike...I purchased Nike at $71.75... Now it's going above $90.. planning to sell at $92... My objective is just to reach $1 million to get the Green Card... First time earned 200K from Meta when it hit $90 ... Till now accumulated $250K... still I have hopes before 2027, I will hit the $1 million mile stone...!!! Thank you Uncle Paul...!!!
It would be real neat if this dipped into the $60s, we're almost there, I think that'd be a great margin of safety on top of everything else. Awesome stuff guys!
He didnt say but probably only selling NKE Puts. This has turned into too much of a commercial for their software which is the real cash machine for EM....not his investing prowness.
i mean he did say the low realistic case is $61 so.... could very realistically go there and he's not hiding it. up to you if you're uncomfortable with that possibility and want to wait and see or sell puts
Awesome vid, thanks! Olympics will hopefully help investors get excited again - especially if they do their prototypical awesome advertising for the world to see.
I honestly thought apparel was the problem. To hear that it’s shoes is amazing. They can easily innovate in that area. Hoka’s are a fad that will die off.
In terms of Europe. Nike received the contract to supply the German national team in soccer with Jersey's and soccer shoes. It used to be adidas was the supplier. German national team items are purchased every year by 80 mill Germans and many international fans
I bought some yesterday and today. Fcf $59 / share. People could stop buying shoes... fine it goes to to book value at mid 30s in a historical market drop, I don't care. They have cash on hand to survive and grow. I am a new long-term holder. It could drop to 15 p/e will buy all the way down till max weighting is reached. Fcf will drop during a recession so it could slam down to book value from extreme pessimistic Outlook.
During your presentation it was briefly mentioned that NKE's equipment division performed well and had much growth potential. I think that was a good point you made. If NKE could evolve into sports equipment type store similar to Dick's sporting goods then NKE may have a brighter future. Nike could sell the sports hardware and the software (apparel). A business needs to evolve to survive. Think of Woolworths evolving into Footlocker, for example. Otherwise, to me, NKE is another T-Shirt, gym wear seller. When I visit my local outlet center I see 6-7 well known stores all selling t-shirts, gym wear, and sneakers.
Nike has their own Factory storage but whatever equipment they will make will be overpriced and then if it's too available they will see their brand devalue too deeply to the common folks and they're trying to stay in in the mid-range
I do not see a shoe manufacturer as having a wide moat; NKE pays Billions to Athletes that endorse their products, Billions to make their commercials, and Billions more to air those commercials. While NKE has a recognizable brand, many shoe companies have that, too. There is nothing special about NKE shoes. Many athletes prefer the superior comfort and performance of other brands, like New Balance, Asics, Addidas, and others. NKE doesn't spend much on improving their products, just on advertising them. And the NKE logo is getting a bit tired, too, IMO. I can see buying some shares while it's cheap, but I wouldn't get too excited about it, (as Paul seems to be wetting himself about the price). There's a reason the stock dropped down from $96 to $72 in a single day. And, it's been down since June 28th and no buyers have rushed in to push the price up. This tells us something, doesn't it?
Its a shoe company theres not much to innovate , the name of the brand is the moat , right now has some bad news and its affecting it , just a matter of waiting and looking into their future to see if they can turn It around .AP
The brand has quality control issues, in particular with the questionable suitability of the adhesive used to bond the soles. A brand-new Nike shoe fell apart in front of a TV audience which cascaded throughout the world. As an advertising guy (a media planner), I can even estimate the exposure to that marketing fiasco and put a number on it (impressions). Yes it was a marketing disaster.
i really enjoy your fundamental analysis..your macro view on Tesla was spot on wish i had taken a more rational decesion at the time. Nike looks strong on paper with a solid business. Thanks for your videos.
I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 85K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% per year in dividend returns. Any advice?
Dont. 30% divident return is not feasable. 2% return is "good". dont fall for the dividend trap, Do not put all of your money in one basket or you may lose a lot of money. trust me I have been there, no more than 10% of your portfolio in any singular stock FOR ANY REASON EVER, do not put more than 30% of your portfolio in any singular economic sector (financial, tech, etc).
Nike stock is currently at its lowest price in over a decade. Should this be seen as a buying opportunity, or are there valid reasons to avoid it? I'm thinking about rebalancing my $2M portfolio and would like your insight.

My wife and I net-worth was 62k April 2020. Just hit 550k this week. Started last month this 2024 investing with Amelia Jason. I still thank you for the level-headed financial advice.
The market trend can turn around very quickly. In fact, the indexes often switch from a bear market to a bull market when the news is at its worst and the mood of investors is at its lowest point. I read an article of people that grossed profits up to $150k during this crash, what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist?
In particular, amid inflation, investors should exercise caution when it comes to their exposure and new purchases. It is only feasible to get such high yields during a recession with the guidance of a qualified specialist or reliable counsel.
If Nike could start producing better quality soccer cleats for a cheaper price I think it would do them very well and it would win back market share. I only used Nike mercurials when I played soccer and they were my favourite shoes for soccer. Even after trying adidas pumas and some other brands in there too probably but they were always my favourite cleats. I stopped buying them because I feel like the quality has gone down vs. Other brands. I would like to see them back into their glory days and I would be more confident in investing in them. They also don’t offer wide fit options on their cleats vs new balance which does. More focus on a wider array of foot options and focusing on the health of our feet vs looks and style would also be another factor that would make them a better option for shoes in general
@@requid will see… won’t we… NIKE is not going to disappear… one of the most knoen brands in the world, nba sponsor … who does not know it… however the secret is the entry point
How is a pe of 23 conservative for a slow growing company? You used to have much more down to earth analysis in the past, now it seems like you are convincing yourself to buy . I am dissapointed
Yeah, like 10% inefficient for me based on the tax treaty with the US. Buybacks are nice, but they don't give you hooker money. Capital gains would also cost me 10% (if they are realized gains).
At the end of the day, it’s a company with declining revenue that is trading at 19 PE. They will always print money but they need to re-price to become a value stock (or start growing again, which is a coin flip imo)
@@tbaloni it absolutely is. The brand isn’t as strong (to be fair, besides Apple, what is?), and clothing is more cyclical than shoes, but fundamentally it’s a MUCH better buy.
@@golfinguru11 I think Nike and Adidas both have very good brand value, and it's because of the athletes and teams they endorse/sign contracts with. I've bought many Mercurial soccer cleats and adidas soccer cleats because I saw professional players like Ronaldo or Paul Pogba wear soccer cleats. It's a bit different way of brand value but I think sports and teams have significant brand value and many loyal supporters who will buy the jersey for their favorite team or what have you. Fundamentals are important, it's also important to recognize which markets are the best markets to operate in. LULU's main growth was from international markets, I beleive they grew 35% internationally and 3% domestically. The U.S. consumer is the best consumer. We have the most money and our financial system is unmatched. Nike has the largest share globally but also an even larger share of the market domestically. and thier domestic growth is lower than LULU's but only by ~2%. I also see LULU's profitability metrics are stronger than Nike's so that's another benefit for LULU. I'm writing a thesis/analysis on Nike so I'll use some of the ideas you gave me here to do a proper analysis on NIke and itt's competitors. As of now I couldn't make a good assesment of either business because I didn't much research yet but I'll get back to you on this.
GME was an anomaly and it's not like Nike at all. For one thing Nike's still a profitable company trading at a reasonable valuation. Gamestop was a crap company that went to the moon because of a short squeeze. Gamestop has a pretty low instrinsic value.
The reason the price started to fall was because they changed the guidance and are expecting much smaller growth. China concerns etc. It's misleading to say that the 20% drop was because they missed on revenue in a single quarter.
The problem with Nike isn't just innovation but quality. The quality of their products has fallen greatly over the last 3-4 years and people have noticed . You can't charge $300 for a shoe worth 2 bucks.
i need a little more comment of how much money one should put into nike, say 1% of portfolio, 2% of portfolio? or more like 10% of your portfolio? i really do looking forward to an reocommended answer. i still have available buying power... but dont know how much to put in NKE, i dont know how big it should be part of my portfolio. Thanks in advance
it all depends on you and your risk tolerance, if you are younger say 20-30 take more risk imo, but if you are older I would be more risk averse. That's the generic answer that most people and financial advisors will tell you. However, we are all individual humans and our personalities have a lot to do with investing and life in general cant be mapped out by a standard rubric. You need to understand yourself and make your own decisions based on your knowledge about yourself. Listening to greats like Buffett Munger and Lynch will also help you. Don't follow anyones advice without understanding yourself first

Nike, Baba, Ulta - good god imagine Paul's returns this year😂😂😂😂 How do you live with a port that not only trails the market (17.74% for VOO!) but might even be negative YTD? I get taking a shot on a value stock or two (I own Baba and Wynn) but my returns have been all NVDA, AMZN, and Netflix. I feel like value trap investing is the inverse of Cathie Wood - both are bad strategies! Mix and match momentum and value people!
Something is wrong with the software numbers at the beginning of the video. Price was 74.47 (more or less current_, but is shows that medium price of 90 is in the red.
People is willing to buy fakes at 60% off and afraid of buying genuine stock at 60% sale. Billions of people around the world buying fake aspiring to buy one day the real ones. That is the real MOAT. The growth potential in the next decades in Africa and Asia is insane. Bargain of stock right now. Great buy Paul! They are known in our 7 billion people world.
There moat is gone, Hoka has the quality, looks, price, and engineering IMO. Nike will be a thing of the past. Dont get me wrong, im a Nike fan but Hoka is the new young Nike like celsius is to monster😂. Great video as always guys🙏
I look at my kids sporting events and not one kid wears those shoes for sport or the gear. Nike has a long history. Yes they are down right now but fashion is fickle and they have a brand that kids still like they have survived a lot over the years and need to refocus and definitely get quality back in some of the items for sure but it’s fixes not a brand rebuild.
NKE: 4.92% expected eps growth next 3-5 years, Avg EPS growth next 3 years 3.49 (yes this is lower than the current 3.73) IV 58 , margin of safety 44 = No BUY
That is the moat. Just like Coca-Cola. They both have strong marketing, and it makes it difficult for their competitors. People underestimate the importance of solid marketing, but when done right, it can make your brand desirable to the masses.
@@TroubleKofLLE i don’t think that’s good enough for a moat. Marketing is a trend. Thats anti moat. KO has a real moat and…i haven’t seen a coke ad for ages. KO has distribution and logistics and more. Yes, Nike has that too…except so do many others. It’s not hard to make and distribute shoes. But you can’t send a can of coke in the mail. I don’t think fashion ever has a moat actually. Every season you have to come up with something new. The moat is excellent marketing every season. Wow, that’s hard to pull off. Edit: Writing this, I realize you’re right, it is a moat if you can pull it off in the long run. Under armor, lululemon is actually just a blip. The danger is if they drop in quality. A new CEO is looking for profits and they can easily do it switching out to cheap materials and nobody notices until one year later when the shoe falls apart. And that’s what I hear Nike has done. To be fair, Nike is just huge. They have time to come back with the right CEO. But could take 5 years.
@@EverythingMoney My long reply got deleted. I try to be shorter. Moat is not just 1 thing, especially marketing as fashion is fickle. But yes, I can see how it can contribute in the US, if they can repeatedly market every season, which Nike can. But if you take a look outside the US, where competition is more fierce, marketing is not enough. Others can be just as good, and cheaper.
Nike is a great business and an iconic brand. Companies that give you 20% off shouldn’t be ignored. However I think this company will be trading sideways for several months. A lot of new time investors will get frustrated because by the end of this year everything will be up except Nike. Personally I don’t see this going any lower than $67. If it does go lower than the market is going into an economic meltdown: I bought at 75 and I’m currently selling some puts. Wonderful company and wonderful brand. Hard to pass up when the market is being afraid. Even if the company doesn’t grow (which is very unlikely) their balance sheet is strong. In a cyclical industry Nike is going through some changes so it’s going to take 2-3 years to turn things around
In this bull market and everyone is feeling a bit nervous about stock market highs, why does anyone want to buy a stock like NKE which has given weak guidance this year? Only if you are a true believer and patient enough to wait 1-2 years. But then one can argue there are better stocks to buy if you are going to wait that long.
I think Costco and Apple are easily some of if not the best businesses in the world but do I own them? No not yet, because their price is too high and my return would most likely be negative or very low if I would invest into them. Myabe not but Nike used to be a high flyer darling stock and look at it now. Patience is the key and when these drlings fall out of favor that's when you strike
As a consumer, I like Costco and the way they treat their customers. I know of lot of people in my circle are also Costco customers and shop there on a frequent basis and incur a min bill of anywhere from $150+ to $200+. For me that is a sign enough to invest in Costco for long-term - nice cash flow, loyal customer base, frequent prod innovations, value for money. Nike is a great brand, but not everyone frequently shops to buy $200 shoes/apparel. It operates in a price/style sensitive market segment and has lot of competition. For that simple reason, I would not like to invest. At the end of the day each needs to invest in the businesses that they understand and believe in.
@@rvssrkrishna2 I don't own NKE or COST although if I had to pick I would pick COST given a better valuation. They really showed their pricing power when Sams club lowered their membership fee and costco raised theirs. Very strong moat on Costco and good business in general. I wish every business was ran like Costco
@@rvssrkrishna2 back when I used to play soccer regularly I would purchase 200+ dollar soccer cleats regularly from Nike. The mercurials were considered the best soccer cleat on the market. However like a lot of things nike they have fell behind competition

I remember working at Vanguard during the 2007-008 crash. Today's drop is very reminiscent. but i think it's great opportunity to pick up some dividend gems at a great starting yield
Interesting. I also got a 401k growing very slowly and at this point in my life, I need something much aggressive to grow profits.
So diversified with trade.

They have cash on hand to survive and grow. I am a new long-term holder. It could drop to 15 p/e will buy all the way down till max weighting is reached. Fcf will drop during a recession so it could slam down to book value from extreme pessimistic Outlook.
Good stuff, even if we go into recession and this falls more , its a hold for sure , people will go out and buy once they can .AP
Good stuff - GC
Nike has their own Factory storage but whatever equipment they will make will be overpriced and then if it's too available they will see their brand devalue too deeply to the common folks and they're trying to stay in in the mid-range
plz make more buying Nike stock vids!!!!
Nike’s substantial price increases, aimed at matching the high resale values on platforms like StockX, have driven away many customers.
i cant choose between nke vs lulu so i am looking to buy both
The brand has quality control issues, in particular with the questionable suitability of the adhesive used to bond the soles.

Try starting out with ETFs, you will be better off as a begginer.
I didn't watch the video, but judging from the title, is it because nike stocks are low right now?
Nike stock is currently at its lowest price in over a decade. Should this be seen as a buying opportunity, or are there valid reasons to avoid it? I'm thinking about rebalancing my $2M portfolio and would like your insight.

GME was an anomaly and it's not like Nike at all. For one thing Nike's still a profitable company trading at a reasonable valuation. Gamestop was a crap company that went to the moon because of a short squeeze. Gamestop has a pretty low instrinsic value.
I have almost 400 shares. Slowly adding
The reason the price started to fall was because they changed the guidance and are expecting much smaller growth. China concerns etc.
It's misleading to say that the 20% drop was because they missed on revenue in a single quarter.

How does Nike have a moat? It’s mostly just marketing. That’s not a moat.

Wonderful company and wonderful brand. Hard to pass up when the market is being afraid. Even if the company doesn’t grow (which is very unlikely) their balance sheet is strong. In a cyclical industry Nike is going through some changes so it’s going to take 2-3 years to turn things around
Buying nike till 160$. Now double incomes than 2020, and same stock price.
AAAND the dollar is worth a lot less. This is a very low valuation
Thanks for sharing your thoughts .AP
I will wait buy up to, next earning season to see the their progress
Good stuff - GC
The only problem with Nike is that they make my feet hurt when I stand for the National Anthem. 😊
Agree along with MCD
Up this comment. MCD is at one of the best timing to tank it.
Good stuff - GC
why would i buy nike clothing when in a recession

Congrats ! Remember that is a play for a long time ! AP
@@EverythingMoney Thanks

But I am not buying 😂😂
Good stuff - GC

In this bull market and everyone is feeling a bit nervous about stock market highs, why does anyone want to buy a stock like NKE which has given weak guidance this year? Only if you are a true believer and patient enough to wait 1-2 years. But then one can argue there are better stocks to buy if you are going to wait that long.
Thats what value investors do , wait a minimum of 2 yrs .Not everything is about buying stocks that look like are going up .AP
What expiration dates are you selling puts? The premium prices aren't that high for selling $NKE puts even for further dates.
