If you couldn't answer, you were marked absent for the class. Another professor would pick one student to summarize cases for the entire class period. You would have to answer the questions about the basic issues and rules of law of the case, and then the prof would open it up to the rest of the class for discussion and hypotheticals. But if you weren't ready that day, you were guaranteed to have to brief the entire next class. Upside to that was that, once you did that, you were pretty much off the hook for the rest of the semester. Never had a prof that was this vicious though. lol
Prof probably gave a ten minute break to the class at the end so they can wait for the girl to finish puking and then continue pressuring her for answers. 😆

I used to hate him because he's terrorizing the students by asking questions on the spot. The more right questions you answered, the more he'll ask until you start to doubt your initial answer only for him to prove that your first answer was correct. He's a very skilled cardio-thoracic surgeon and pretty notorious too because of his teaching style. Long story short, I also became a cardio-thoracic surgeon like him. 😂

Most Law Schools dont wanna just test your knowledge but also your reaction time, ability to argue and explain your point, ability to work under pressure and stress - so some of my teachers also kept pushing and pushing as soon as they saw cracks .Its horrible, but also very helpful. If you crack under pressure from a teacher asking you questions, you will crack in front of the court - its better to know your weaknesses asap so you can work on them - IF you are serious about law.
