Love it mate, I'm in the same areas haven't tried jack fishing before. Do U find that U have to be early morning or real late arvo to get the jacks to bite
They will eat at all times of the day, mainly dependant on tides, winds, bait etc. I prefer the early mornings to get in their first before anyone else for the day, plus less boat traffic!

Hi Dang , can you fully retract your watersnake in shallow water and did you fit it the same way as My lure box guy did . cheers .
Yep! I can get it flush to the kayak and skim over very shallow water. The water snake doesn’t come out of the sonar pod and store away as nicely as Johnny’s My Lure Box mod (he has a minn kota). But it’s very easy still to get it in and out of the kayak :)

Thinking of getting one but unsure if I’d really use it and thinking it will get in the way.
Garmin 7sv! I use it more for water temp and depth… not necessarily to cast at deeper structure as I tend to do a lot of shallower stuff
