The original Show No Mercy Vinyl has “Satan Laughs As You Eternally Rot” etched into the runout on one side. Only 5,000 were made. I was hoping they would replicate that with this release. No deal. Like I said, absolutely love that Hell Awaits mug. I have a mug from 2013 with the Slayer War Eagle on it. SLAYER!!! 🤘🤘
Thanks, brother. I wish I had all my original stuff. I had a lot that was stolen a long time ago now. It still burns me when I think about it. I am trying to get everything on vinyl now. I was looking at getting this album on eBay, and all of a sudden, they announced this release. Honestly, I haven't listened to Show No Mercy for a while, and it's kind of new again. I've listened to it several times. Have a good one man!
And now Slayer is officially back in 2024, so far just two festival gigs but interesting to see what happens. Show No Mercy is my favorite album of theirs, so many killer riffs and solos.
I used to go to sleep to reign in blood (headphones), back in the school days of yore. What's funny, is that at one time, I thought the playing on that album was fast. hahah. It's cool what they did with the picture disc. Interesting effect.
