1. if you get a g3 turn (whether the first one of the game or after the opponent rode down), you can usually get 10-12 or so cards in hand at the end of it with 1-2 CBs (taking into account Venus, Doriane, Lolotte, drive checks, etc.). of course, to have this many after the opponent did their turn, you'd need defensive triggers, but very doable when you use Emile enough times. 2. Emile to build your soul, Irina as your g1 ride, Lilian for missing pieces. Emile is a necessary piece for this however. As I mentioned in the deck profile, the defense of this deck is poor, so you're relying on the other means of maximising survivability (Doriane & Rising cycling, Emile thinning, Accel II's organic draw power) in order to get these opportunities. Edit: most decks nowadays that we see in the meta either g2 game for first stride, or ride down allowing us to take a g3 turn. In either case, the g3 turn of this deck is intended to punish people for doing so, as you can pretty easily take them to the brink of death on your g3 turn, or wittle down their resources at minimum.
Hey you were right about being able to build the soul and have a decent size hand by stride turn love the vids keep it up. I’m trying a similar build but with Mauricia in the g2 line up.
Question. On my G3 turn I go into Venus can I trigger Doriane and Lottie put everything into soul and still get the gift since I have 4 or more at the start of end turn.
Unfortunately, if you resolve Lolotte then Doriane, you can't resolve Venus Luquier since you wouldn't have anymore rear-guards (Venus has to put your four-or-more rear-guards into soul as cost). This means that essentially you're making the choice between Doriane for pure advantage, or Venus for an extra Accel marker. Doriane's better most of the time as long as you can ride Venus again on the following turn.
