Nova Craft sends their canoes from the factory this way - The canoe is reinforced in the end for the use of the I Bolt. If I was making my own, I would do it different 🙂

Yes, this is a Nova Craft Pal. They only make one length, which is 16ft.

Just be aware with anything attached to the gunwale (like a rod holder), any rescue such as a t rescue would be impossible!!
