I would love to see you do a show about your yard and what grows in the different seasons in England. Please think about doing something like this if you can. Drawer liner idea is fantastic! Also, the walnut looks like burl walnut to me-with the top glimpse it looked like a piece sliced in half and used opposite each other for a decorative symmetrical top. Woodworkers from centuries past were so skilled! In my antique dresser I put sachets-not to scent my clothing, but because it helps counteract the older wood smell. Those could be very thin paper packets that go under your wall paper lining. Also a good bar of soap rubbed on the underside of the drawer where it “glides” will lubricate it a bit for smooth drawer in & outs. Lovely drawer drop pulls.
I totally enjoyed your unexpected changes!! It is always fun to “ go shopping “ with you both.. no matter where you end up! Loved seeing your beautiful corner of your bedroom come together so beautifully as you assembled the dresser area.. it’s all looks perfectly coordinated but in a very creative way.. the Staffordshire Dalmatian was the perfect finish!! The whole design and luxurious wood grain. Wow. Have you ever heard of Teabloom? I just recently purchased some flowering teas and organic loose-leaf tea from them. I also ordered a teapot. I'm enjoying a cup while I write this. Anyway, if you love tea as much as I see you do, you should check them out. It's fun to watch the tea bloom in the glass teapot. Love to you both! :)

I live in a small country town in North Carolina, kind of the middle of no where. We raise Angus beef cows as well as a fairly quiet life. I never comment but I wanted to let you know I so fully enjoy your videos. I doubt I'll ever get to travel across the ocean, but I love your countryside, the magnificent houses, the decor, even your mannerisms are so different but wonderful to watch. I live in a small country town in North Carolina, kind of the middle of no where. We raise Angus beef cows as well as a fairly quiet life. I never comment but I wanted to let you know I so fully enjoy your videos. I doubt I'll ever get to travel across the ocean, but I love your countryside, the magnificent houses, the decor, even your mannerisms are so different but wonderful to watch.
