Hi Jakob, Thanks for making this page by Ted come alive! I wrote the notation for this (and many others on the TG site) and was thinking that most people would be lost by trying to follow the grids alone for this blues study. The notation is meant to give a person a rough idea of the timing -- but this is certainly not supposed to be a rigid thing. As a matter of fact, Ted usually encouraged students to personalize his write-ups with their own interpretations, fills, variations, and such....just as you have done. That is when the paper turns into magic as it hits the fretboard and our ears and hearts. I especially love the last rhythmic version you did on the video. You really make it all seem easy. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much for making these invaluable studies notated and available! That is a profound service! Assuming you studied with Ted? How awesome. Thanks for checking out my playing!
@@JakobPek Yes, I studied with Ted in 1985-86, and then some correspondence lessons in 1987. What a privilege to be with him. Thanks for your reviews of the lessons, blues, arrangements, etc. I think it helps people to learn them. Keep it up, brother!
