Other parts used were Upgraded old style Snorkel - Driver "The Rock figure" Old style rear number plate with rear light guards, body coloured mud flares, hood vents painted wheels detailing.

Nice mods and accessories. Have seen the mud flaps, snorkel and cages for the windows and lights before but never live, in a video. Also a big thumbs up for the painted body over the "obviously plastic" finish they come with stock. These NEED paint for ultimate realism and to prevent the sunlight bleeding through..🤭
Yes agree it makes it look a lot less plastic and personally I think with the black wheels looks even more scale rather than the white wheels thanks so much for watching and checking it out👍💯👍💯👍

Mainly replacing stock parts on the body nothing with the motor or servo yet would rather wait till they break before replacing this is the rebuild video for what was done to it ruclips.net/video/Rqp9MAljVtw/видео.html 👍👍

Did you use any 1/10 scale parts on your 1/12 scale model?
Because I have only seen parts for 1/10 scale, like the guards for your windows.
Still a great upgrade.
Thanks very much I got the parts for it on Ebay random china sellers and basically any part that fit the size needed bought so as you say not all strictly 1/12

I thought the mud flaps looked fragile, at least the thin metal mounts do. Did you find the one that fell off {right rear}? 😢
Yes they are very thin metal which means they do bend a bit if they get caught up on the trail but good idea to glue the flaps on the metal then it's ok I found out haha

Noob question - Just bought one of these of Amazon for my 16yr old (first RC car!). Due you need to do any waterproofing of the electronics or oil things afterwards?
No probs great little Rc to start with then if he gets into it properly the other crawlers by Axial or Traxxas etc are amazing but much more ££ that's when it gets addictive haha Not sure what the manufactures say on the box for this one I took mine in water and it was fine generally up to the wheels is ok and yes oil moving parts and dry off after to look after it, however to be safe unless they say its waterproof stick to small puddles etc
