Thank you for this video, even if this was a year ago. I grew up in San Andres Bukid as a kid, went to San Beda. I don't think you passed by our street, Esmeralda Street. At 13 my parents moved us to New Jersey USA in the early '70s. After 45 yrs I finally went and visited the Philippines and reconnected to Manila, and stopped by our old house. The Sari-sari store in front of the house is still there even to this day. Many parts of Manila has changed for the better, became a beautiful modern city and still nice people around. I loved it so much I bought my own condo so I can have a place when I visit. San Andres Bukid had some good memories since my father passed on and I'm now old as well. Still living in the US but now I also have a new connection in Pasig/Ortigas Center Manila.

Nice and very clear videos. Mas maganda sana that when you are walking along a street you label the name of of the street and the direction you are heading, as well as the name of major intersection you are crossing, so your viewers will know your exact location as reference. Salamat po and stay safe.

If I were a citizen of this country, I would be determined to be with other citizens, both from teachers. lecturers, soldiers, police, legal experts, economists, business experts, whatever it is, to build this country together. We will remove all barriers created by the colonialists or used as political tools including economic, social, cultural and religious. We will eradicate the traitors of our country and nation and we will return to our social, cultural and religious roots where we came from and grew up as a nation!!! But even though I am not a citizen of this nation, I still sympathize and want to help them in any way.

Hi, the shapes, colors, even the sounds are very good ( there seem to be no privacy issues, as long as you are on the street?). Suggestions: It will be very informative if you can show in a map of Manila, where this area is, the street route/s you take, andalso show the street names at corners and direction you are moving--North, S,E,W. Cities have good, bad and ugly sides-- the extremities, define them. This area is only about 3 to 5 km ( 30-45 minutes walk ) to the tallest buildings of Makati, and is called " The Little Tondo of Manila". It is named San Andres Bukid ( Bukid = fields, so literally: Saint Andrews Fields) because some 60 years ago, the area was still rice fields. Thanks.

Have you actually visited a slum in the Philippines?

@@KryptoTrekker No. But your excellent filming has shown me life in the Philippines. Thanks. The slums of Chicago, Baltimore, Cleveland, Philadelphia and many other cities are worse than anything you've shown.

@@unkelruckuss I know that there are slums in the USA, I've been to some of them but never documented, but I will the next time I visit. The slums are definitely completely different, but still slums. The drug problem here is pretty much hidden since you could be in instances killed on the spot if done in public. Pretty harsh but the truth. Lot's of third world going on in the US these days, hope things get better, thanks for watching!

You call this a slum ? Visit Detroit , South Chicago , St Louis or any east coast city in US ( NewYork , Baltimore , Providance ). The people here have hair cuts , clean cloths and eat well ( all the tummies on anyone over 30 )

They will build houses and live in them,
And they will plant vineyards and eat their fruitage.
22 They will not build for someone else to inhabit,
Nor will they plant for others to eat.
For the days of my people will be like the days of a tree,
And the work of their hands my chosen ones will enjoy to the full.
23 They will not toil* for nothing,*
Nor will they bear children for distress,
Because they are the offspring* made up of those blessed by Jehovah,
And their descendants with them.......ISAIAH 65;21-23
