Thank you for this video, even if this was a year ago. I grew up in San Andres Bukid as a kid, went to San Beda. I don't think you passed by our street, Esmeralda Street. At 13 my parents moved us to New Jersey USA in the early '70s. After 45 yrs I finally went and visited the Philippines and reconnected to Manila, and stopped by our old house. The Sari-sari store in front of the house is still there even to this day. Many parts of Manila has changed for the better, became a beautiful modern city and still nice people around. I loved it so much I bought my own condo so I can have a place when I visit. San Andres Bukid had some good memories since my father passed on and I'm now old as well. Still living in the US but now I also have a new connection in Pasig/Ortigas Center Manila.
I'm sad to say-- I broke my ankle the other day and also torn some ligaments. I will be having surgery soon. But I want to thank you for making me feel I was taking a long walk and seeing alot of nice people. Thank you.

Hi, the shapes, colors, even the sounds are very good ( there seem to be no privacy issues, as long as you are on the street?). Suggestions: It will be very informative if you can show in a map of Manila, where this area is, the street route/s you take, andalso show the street names at corners and direction you are moving--North, S,E,W. Cities have good, bad and ugly sides-- the extremities, define them. This area is only about 3 to 5 km ( 30-45 minutes walk ) to the tallest buildings of Makati, and is called " The Little Tondo of Manila". It is named San Andres Bukid ( Bukid = fields, so literally: Saint Andrews Fields) because some 60 years ago, the area was still rice fields. Thanks.
