Seeing the “WiFi password” as a feature brings up what could be a VERY useful feature… imagine if the WiFi connection info were able to be shared via AirDrop like a Contact could be… additionally, imagine if that connection could be time limited… “here, I’ll give you an hour of WiFi via AirDrop”

So, iOS 16 has actually fixed a few major issues as well. First, when shooting 4K60P in Dolby Vision on the iPhone 13 / Pro, the quality was terrible anytime there were panning or sweeping movements. That seems to have been rectified...and for that, I'm super happy. Second, slow motion at 240fps on the 13 / pro used to stutter like crazy - major glitch. That is also fixed now. There is a new issue that has appeared, however, on the 13 / pro. Selfie photos and portraits are saved as very low quality files. I'm sure Apple will catch this one pretty quick, but it seems like every time they fix something, they break something else. Thankfully, from what I've used so far, IOS 16 is a fantastic update.
I noticed also when i have update to ios 16 my iphone 13 pro video quality is not much good as when it is on ios 15 the saturation and pixel issues makes me bother

If you only just installed iOS 16, your photo library probably still needs to finish processing first. How long it takes depends on the size of your library.

Called Apple support and they accessed my phone and couldn’t find the ‘duplicate function’ either They checked with the IOS 16 release team and the function was part of this first release. It will appear in subsequent updates.

I would love this Duplicate Photo option. Im on an iPhone 13 Pro Max. When I go to Photos > Albums > Utilities, there is no "Duplicate" Album listed. Do I need to change some sort of setting?
The battery percentage has always been that iPhone 8, so to give the blanketed statement that “it was gone but now it’s back” is wrong. It was gone only on specific devices.
Hey I wanted to test this further so I just took two screenshots back to back to verify if it wasnt showing up because I didnt have any previous duplicates and the duplicate folder still didnt show up. I would assume maybe theyll do another update to fix some of those quirks since I definitely have a couple of duplicates but the folders still not showing up. The update is still awesome though, but I did want to let you know youre not alone on that one!
Just keep your phone charging over night. The photo library needs some time to process and index everything and even some other features like the new photo shuffle on the new wallpapers won't work until the library has processed ALL your images.
Neither do I 🤔 I just read on Apple that if you do not have duplicate photos the option won’t be available. I tried taking duplicate photos and it still doesn’t populate for me but maybe it takes a while.

I cant seem to get the blur background portion to work on wallpaper. Are there any specific settings I need to have configured? I’ve tried changing reduce motion off and on and it’s still not working.
I have the same concerns about weight and size of 14pro max. 12pro is fine however screen it's not large enough? 6.4, 6.5 inch would be perfect I think. Hope battery will be better, on the other side 14pro max has 6.7 inch so it will take more power from battery. It's really hard to say. I think after a day or few days I will know, was it worth to replace for 14pro max or it was better to replace for 14pro.
I’ve watched a few vids concerning the new features but I was unaware of the hidden photos folder being locked. Whilst exploring, I noted that the recently deleted album is also locked.
What I noticed to my iph13 pro max which i barely used is that after the update my battery health drops down to 99% which is a bummer, second is that 1% is being decreased to my battery even tho I'm using it to chat someone.
The drag and drop for my photos is not working on my iPhone 13 Pro Max I already tried restarting my phone and resetting network setting the duplicate folder doesn’t show under utilities either 🤦♀️

Wi-Fi password is already shareable if you are close to another iPhone or Mac. And time limited sharing is not possible by anything except the router.

Apparently it will take little while after updating because your phone has to scan all your photos for duplicates, but it should appear soon.

Face ID in lunch scape is only working for the iPhone 13 Pro Max on my 12 pro max is not working.
