ZC came out the year I graduated college, and that summer I got to play it with my younger brother, my best friend, and his younger brother. We spent hours on Kino and even longer than we did back in 2010-2011 thanks to Gobblegum and all. It was such a delightful return to the good old days.
I will never not be grateful for getting ZC, but a part of me wishes that Treyarch added mini Easter eggs to the returning maps just for fun. Nothing complicated, maybe even easier than the Giant egg. Just to give something new to do.
Okay, so after I’ve seen this gameplay and another gameplay of Kino but from BO1 I can say the next: First, I think they’ve deleted some of the Dempsey’s quotes and not only in the Remaster. In BO1 version Dempsey is far more aggressive than this. Second, I have to say this remaster of Kino is good, but is not even closer as the original. That one was creepy, dark, dirty, etc. This one is kinda more colourful, which is kind of a bummer. And last and this is my personal pov: I respect the job of every dubbing actor, but nobody can beat Steve Blum’s voice. I have the Spanish version of BO3 zombies chronicles and it cuts my ears hearing Tank, Nikolai, Takeo and Richthofen speak in Spanish. Definitely I need an English copy of the game
We can clearly tell Kino was WAW map but accidental blessing for treyarch to be released in BO1 when it was much more mainstream and included on the disc rather than on DLC on a end of game cycle. Love all simple map of WAW zombies maps for a time killer
