All the best for 2023!
Thank you and the same to you
I love the way that Messerschmitt is turning out.
Thanks 👍
Hi Steve, for temp panel attachments I use a tiny drop of PVA to keep them in place, saves a lot of hassle! (Added - that camo looks superb, well worth the effort!)
good tip Dave - thanks
Thank you for your instruction.
You’re welcome Dave 👍
No matter how many German fighters you study in colour photos, the mottling effects all differ slightly. I'm glad you went over the first attempt and I think you got it right in the end. Larger mottling, faint and subtle seems to be the key here. With weathering and stencils to come, she is going to be spectacular.
Hope so John
Steve - Happy New Year! I thoroughly enjoy your videos - the fact that you build on camera is helpful and inspirational to novices like myself. I love the painting and mottling - it looks incredible, and I learned so much from the explanation. Thank you so very much.
Thanks Mark glad you’re getting something useful from the videos 👍
Hi Steve, enjoyable video, impressed with the splatter plate pre shade, must get some. Well looks like this has placed me on the back foot as I have got the blue laid down on my build so I better get a move on!! I will drop you an e mail over the next couple of days for a catch up, thanks for your effort and the pleasure you have provided over the last year, All the very best for a enjoyable, entertaining and successful New Year..........👌👍
Thanks Alan I might get chance to do the next bits of painting tomorrow so I’ll send you some pics as well 👍

Those landing gear are just waiting to be broken,it would be nice if you could add them later.
Yes it’s a weakness of the kit assembly sequence- I managed to get away with it😬
Looks good, Happy New Year!
Happy new year to you Chris thank you
Excellent work, have a very happy new year, I stated my channel for Spanish speaking Modelists with Zoukei Mura Hs-129, the channel is Scrap Box, many many greetings from Monterrey, Mexico!
Hi and the same to you 👍
Nice work
Thanks Bill 👍
Happy new year Steve, looking like an Me109 now - looking forward to the next one.
Thanks Phillip 👍
Amazing work Steve, looking great. What's the name of the tool you use for the panel lines, mine always end up looking terrible.
Thanks Matthew after the razor saw I used a radu brinzan scriber - but I’m not sure they’re available any more. if I didn’t have it I would finish the scribe with the razor saw; I think Olfa cutters are too industrial.
Very good work, it's starting to look like a 109 instead of a collection of sub assemblies. I found your use of the splatter templates for the pre-shading interesting, several people I know who use them do it for post shading. After the airframe was painted I saw a bit of a sheen and am wondering if the Mr. Hobby paints are a semi gloss? Looking forward to the next installment and to the next 1/32 scale build.
Yes the Mr Hobby RLM colours are semi gloss - I’ll dull it down and level the finish with a semi Matt varnish
Great job very talented builder thanks for sharing!. ✌Canada✌just sub. your channel
welcome James thank you
Are the hard edge camo lines supposed to be straight?
Not according to ZM. They show the top fuselage scheme as I did it and the wing camo is also very slightly wavy. I don’t have a photo so I’m trusting ZM have done their homework 🫤🤔
The Bf 109 G-14 never had upper surfaces in dark green. The correct colors were RLM 74, dark grey with a SLIGHT greenish tinge, sometimes referred to as "Dunkelgrau, grünlich" in German documents and RLM 75, a slighty bluish color, sometimes called "Grauviolett". But you can correct it a hundred times, and the next ignorant comes around the corner to apply the wrong colors...
Yes I ignorantly applied Mr Hobby RLM74. Should’ve known better.
