I hate Rare beauty lip products! I hated them so much that I threw them in the trash! And that rarely happens (no pun intended). I usually end up using the product even if it’s not the best, but with Rare beauty lip balms my experience was awful! They just don’t apply evenly on the lips at all and the scent is weird. I also got a couple of her liquid lipsticks and again, not happy with the formula/scent/application… I am done with Rare beauty. If a brand can’t do even a lip balm right then my attention goes to other brands. So yes, her products were a waste of my money, let’s just leave it at this. Love Honest though! ❤

I found someone who also dislike slippery/thin lip products! You have a new subscriber :). I have been going through a phase of liking lip glosses and tinted lip balms. I am slowly realizing I prefer thicker formulas and slightly sticky so it's longer lasting and it doesn't seep into the mouth. Initially I wasn't impressed with Haus Laboratories lip gloss but after tasting Fenty glow (cream) I really appreciate that Haus lip gloss is unscented. Fenty doesn't seem so thin yet it managed to hit my tastebuds. It's the oddest thing ever because it smells good but taste awful like perfume in mouth. I didn't even lick my lips! Fenty Beauty original luminizer lip glosses don't do that to me, just the cream version. Anyways, your swatch videos are great!! I love lip products the most and swatches help out so much.
Awww thanks so much! Honestly, I don't really pay attention to how long lip products last, especially glossy ones. What I will say is that they have more staying power than most tinted balms because they have a thicker formula. They aren't oily or slippery like most but I just can't give you a timeline since I haven't paid attention to it.

Hey! I ordered the fruit punch one cause of your video and it’s really hydrating!! Love the color too. Only gripe is its scent. Mine smells like old lipstick which is really throwing me off. I was thinking maybe it just naturally smells like that cause of the avocado oil but do yours have any noticeable scent? Wondering if i should return it or if it’s normal

u might not be able to answer this, but do you know how long these last (as in do you use up product quickly?) it looks like you have to do quite a few swipes to get much payoff.
I don't swipe that many times on my lips! I just wanted to show what it looks like with one layer and then what it takes to build it up. I've had Blood Orange for two years and I still have basically the whole thing left. The way I put them on my lips at first in the video is how I always wear them.
I’m an adult but with my chapstick I still act like a child and compare all consistency to lip smackers haha I like the way lip smackers stays on and feels and if any lip balm feels like that one, I normally love it lol
