When you have a lot of stuff you are always moving things around and purging and getting new. So you are always cleaning a bit. Not that I would know lol.
I don’t where to begin. First and most important thank you for sharing your home. Your eye for placement of all your treasures is outstanding. How long did it take you to get your home to this level. It seems as though the House was waiting for you to bring it back to life. The “bones” of your house are great. It’s fun for me to recognize pieces that I watched you purchase and than to see them in your home placed perfectly. Thank you again for allowing us to share your collections and home.
Hi Senior Picker! Thanks for the great comment!!! I give Karen the credit for the decorating and placement of items in the home (with the exception of the mancave, that was me :D ). We have been here 7 years now, but have been collecting for about 12 years. Proir to owning this home, we each had our own houses, smaller with no character. This is our dream house. :) Thanks for commenting! Have a great 2018!!!
I can't believe some of those old photos of people and the frames are just magical. Without kids, what are you going to do with ALL OF THAT MAGNIFICENCE. I would consider getting ahold of your local Historical Museum and then they could give tours. Lots of us in our 60's ++ are Simplifing our homes so my daughter doesn't have to clear it out when I pass.
I will dust! & clean glass. Oh so much wonderful items. You both are the BEST collectors on RUclips. Thanks so much for sharing this.. Simply unbelievable for me.
I could be lost in that paradise home FOREVER dusting and admiring all the beautiful treasures and NEVER tire. Thank you for sharing your amazing home. I just found your site recently and binge watch nightly after work. LOVE old everything and especially photos !!
Hi y’all, First...YOUR HOME IS GORGEOUS. Second...PROFESSIONAL LOOKING DESIGN AND PLACEMENT OF YOUR COLLECTIONS! That’s a lot of work y’all!!! Did I see a speck of dust? Nope, but a few items I watched you purchase, it was neat remembering your choices and deals. Third...and most importantly... Thank you for saving and cataloging, repair and protecting all those amazing memories. The ones that came before plastic wear and disposable everything. The kids today do not care! At least the ones I speak to... however, we do have many up and coming young people getting the bug. Your home is museum quality! A+. Your biggest new fan! Hugs from KY. USA 💕
Oh my goodness, I was dying to see your home & found this video. It’s truly amazing!! Karen & Rob what a fantastic job in decorating it. It really takes you back in time. The parlor is my favorite room. I can’t wait to find an updated view of your house. It’s beautiful!! Love you guys ❤️❤️
Thanks for sharing your home with us it is all amazing I love antique and you have the most beautiful and fascinating taste I would have to watch this video more than once to be able to capture all your amazing item there is no word to describe all the beauty. Again Thanks for sharing.

I,m total blown away! I so love the things you have collected. Many of my things in my home are thrifted ,yard sales and family hand me down(which I love) but as hard as I try my walls are not near as full of beauties as yours. I,m a new follower and fan . Can't wait to see you guys soon!
You have a nice home filled with antique and vintage collectibles. Among your pieces ,I like the humpback chest in your loft the most. Thank you for giving us a tour of your home. More power to your channel.
Just started watching. Been homebound 19 months and tired of TV. So I started watching dumpster divers and then found your channel. Thanks for blessing all with your videos. Love your home. Be blessed.
There should a LOVE button instead of a like button for these videos. Wow! So inspiring for me. I love seeing the items that I watched you pick up at the sales actually in your home. Like revisiting old friends. And I was awed by the use of the wonderful old books all over as part of the decor rather than just in bookcases. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic!!! So much to look at. I haven't been watching you 2 for long, but I can hear the stories that you make up about the people in the frames... wonderful character outlines and the occasional personal blunder or odd twist in behavior. (**beloved Aunt Mary, she loved to read and sew. No body ever suspected that she had a still in her basement) Have a great day!!!
im 62 and if i could ever have a dream home this would be it. Thank you for the tour I love it, So much history. Looks like I"ll be binge watching all day.
Hey "OT28"! ;D LOL Ya I am pretty proud of my autograph collection. I left out some good ones... I would do it better if I had a 2nd chance LOL. Hindsight is always 20/20
What a most beautiful home you have and will have to watch this video over and over. I love how you have rescued all the lost family pictures and displayed them in your home. Love you guys
Beautiful home! Amazing treasures throughout. I love the camera angles you used to take all the shots. I can tell it took time and was made with love. Great job!
Loved the autographed Star Wars photos! There was just so many beautiful things to look at! I loved all the chandeliers and the old boxes and tins of spices and toiletries! So many beautiful photos as well!
Astounding! I must have all of your chandeliers...now...really! Love your home. You have done an amazing job of filling it with wonderful treasures! I hope you both spend many, many happy years there together! Thank-you for sharing it with all of us.
Lovely home, I think the house picked the perfect people to live there. Karen and Rob, I dig your old eclectic style. The many chandeliers are just gorgeous. Karen i have watched you pick up loads of dresser sets and such, maby we could see an updated house tour. Maybe a Christmas tour? Pretty please?!

You both do a really good job on your finds and videos .Would love to write to you and send you a photo of the house we lived it with the antiques so you can see them .Pretty iteams .} Can not wait for your next video hugs to you both xtina
Thank you for showing us your home. I just love antiques so that is my dream home. I do have antiques that I display in bookcases from 1800 , from the home I grew up in. Wish I knew at the time all the antique furniture we had, but I was a kid when we moved and didn't appreciate it. Our hugh dining room table didn't just have lion legs, it had 4 whole lions under it.
Wowee! That Parlour Chandelier and the one above the tub in the 2nd-floor Bathroom are the most beautiful ones to me. Can you tell that I love sparkly things? And all of those signatures in the Man Cave! Wow again! Ya'll have done such an impressive job of putting all of your finds together to make such a cohesive and cozy home! I'm sure you are both very happy and comfortable with all of your old and well-remembered friends surrounding you both! I love it! Thank ya'll for sharing and God bless!
Fabulous home! Hats off to your keen eyes and sensibility creating each room as a vignette of the past. Unlike most nowadays I do not like "open floor plans" cuz you can't cozy up. Less is not more...More is more... Sorry about the freezy arse cold you're having. I'm hopping on my Harley this afternoon: ♤ riding out for BBQ and beer. Thanks for sharing your home!!!! Cheers.... Cheri
Wow!!! Thanks so much Sherry!!!! :D :D :D What a great compliment! :D We're so glad you are enjoying our adventures and that you liked our home tour video! :)
A chandelier in the kitchen! A chandelier in almost every room - I love them :) What a marvelous collection! The Box Brownies, the aged spec set, the art deco, the old photos, everything! So much,so much love in the whole house :) Amazing. I collect old medical books and fish related 'stuff' (Shorter and Son, Wade, Bagley etc), I have two glass cases stuffed with them, I wish I had room for more. Thanks for showing us your home :) As for the Mancave, my mouth dropped open as soon as I saw the cameras and related...the autographed photos, wow.
Cool that you've got all the signatures on the posters. My all time dream one would be Bob Seger but I don't believe he does them for anyone. I love that man and got to see him once back in the 80's. He was fantastic.
Your home is gorgeous!! Now I see why you buy the things you do. You have quite the collections of so many items. It would be wonderful to be able to see those items on a daily basis. I hope you have help with the upkeep of the cleaning as everything looks spotless. I love all the dark furniture and the Chandeliers. It is a lovely home. I know you love what you do. Thank you for sharing all the wonderful things you have😊.
I had a hard time believing you kept everything you picked...not anymore. Your home is stunning. Downstairs in the widow sill is a piece of Jeannette glass. Made in my hometown. Nice to see a piece made it up there. You are inspiring, collect what you love and enjoy it. Thank you for letting us see your home.
Happy New Year! Thank you for so generously allowing us to tour your house and see all of your treasures. They are displayed SO artfully, and it was fun for me to to recognize items from earlier videos! Looking at YOUR house was a great break from MY house which is covered with piles of random thrift store items to sell on ebay. (LOL!) ☺❤ I did my annual Humane Society fundraiser Penguin Plunge on New Year's Day. They had to chop a hole in the ice so us crazy plungers could jump in the river. Our real feel today was 4 degrees, can't imagine what -35 feels like! Do school kids have to wait at bus stops in that weather? (Our schools were cancelled a few times for that reason!)
Hey Jen and Harvey. So glad you enjoyed the tour! :) Karen does the decorating, except I did the man cave... but I'm sure she helped. :D Our Polar Bear Plunge that they have every year in Canada was cancelled this year due to extreme cold temperatures. You'll think I'm crazy, but the day I shot that timelapse.. Dec 27th, was from my work office. I walk to and from work. 30 minutes each way. Have been walking every day for the past 7 years, ever since we moved within walking distance. I *could* drive, but parking is too expensive, plus gas an wear and tear on the vehicle... walking's just easier. Plus it's not bad if you're dressed properly for it. :) Have a great 2018!!! :D
Forgot to mention, Yes kids still go to school. School is rarely cancelled here. The last time I remember the kids not having to go to school due to weather was about 8 years ago... it was so bad mostly because of huge amounts of snow.. people couldn't get around in it. Temperature rarely is a reason to stay home here.... unfortunately.. LOL
Whoa! Hats off to you! There's a hiker saying "Embrace the suck" which is about just buckling down and pushing through bad weather & other rough circumstances. Sounds like you've got that covered...you just decide to do it, then make yourself do it! Harvey and I hike in the cold weather almost every day and it's not bad if you dress properly and keep moving...
WOW! Your house is stunning! Great job to you and Karen! So many beautiful things to look at. I laughed out loud when I saw the Midol in the bathroom. That's an awesome find. AND THE MAN CAVE! Wow! So cool! Thanks for showing us around!
You have a great story every week to show us your pickings. But to see it put all together in your home is simply believably delightful. I know where to come to watch a fulfilling moving - the Bargain Baron House!
Beautiful! You have so many gorgeous, timeless pieces in your home & an eye for where and how to place things. How nice it is to be able to live everyday among the things you love. Thanks for sharing your home and collection.
Oh my goodness, I am fascinated with your home! From the loft to the man cave. All the beautiful pictures on the wall, in their elegant frames....the display of the books, and cameras, the bear rugs....your chandeliers, Love the entry way, with the skates and sled......I was anxious to see your kitchen, wondering if you had room to prepare meals! Yup, you do! I know this was filmed a couple or so years ago, and you have surely added more treasures to your home. Thank you so much for sharing...Your spice tins, and other older tins, something that I started collecting, here in Maine. I will never be able to get as many as you do.....What the heck, I am 77, running out of time! (ROFL) But, I enjoyed your home SO MUCH!!! Its nice to have it on film, for insurance purposes!! Hugs, Bev in Maine.
Unbelievable how much beautiful is ur house....i got so emotional watching how you gave "dignity " and "respect" for each of one piece in there..i have never..ever saw something like this in my life..congrats!! Thank u for this beauty and thank u for letting us in ur privacy !

You have a beautiful home, love how every where you look, you are going back in time. My favorite are all the antique photos in those beautiful frames.
What a fabulous home you have...like a living museum.Just beyond gorgeous. It's like going back in time. You have done A wonderful job...just subscribed...love you guys and the way you speak to each other is priceless...keep up the the great collecting!!...Debbie from California.😃
What a great home. I could spend hours just looking at the old items and the photos. It's fun to find treasures then look for that special spot for them. Thank you for sharing.
Gorgeous from beginning to end!! Awesome video/filming. Fantastic home thank you for the tour....it's really neat when I see an item and am like I was there when they bought that!! Lol but it makes you feel connected. ...almost like oh that's what she had in mind for that piece...very nice. Tfs see ya....
Thanks so much Lori! Happy you enjoyed this one. It was actually a challenge, wasn't sure at first how I was going to make a 20 minute video of me walking around my home, interesting. I think syncing the video with the music helped in that sense... but OI guess there;'s so much interesting things to look at too LOL.
HappyNew year folks! Wow such a beautiful home, I can see the love and pride and I bet there's just a few years of collecting there. thanks for sharing.
As always, great job! All of the collections....makes me swoon! Your home is beautiful, cozy and very well decorated! Everything is beautiful!!! Just beautiful
Thankyou MLCoG! :D :D :D Thanks for the great comment. :) So glad you liked it!!! :D I was worried people would get bored with a 20 minute video of me going through the house LOL
Holy Toledo you two have perfectly placed that home in the early 1900s so amazing. I'll bet movie sets want to shoot movies in your home because it's so perfect to the time period. Wow how amazing. Really cool. You both have old souls I just know it.
Thanks!! We HAVE been asked to be part of the heritage home tours in our city, as well as to have our house used as a set in movies, but so far have declined... I don't know how we feel about strangers in and out all day.....
Oh my Lord, there isn't 1 more inch of space to add any more treasures! Time to find either another home in addition to this one, or build an addition! Lol you know lots of people had a summer place also for vacations and such. Then you could fill it with the next treasures you find. Perhaps on the coast with all the vintage beachy things. Thank you for sharing your home with us, it's just beautiful.
I just had to come watch the home tour a second time. I'll bet TLC will pick you two up for a series. I've watched two independant people do their own videos and both got picked up by the learning channel here in the states. One videographer I watch just got a contract with Netflix to do a documentary. You two have the right stuff for a tv show. I hope you get the chance some day to go big. We love you guys here in the states and please continue to wow us with your antiques.
WOW....WHAT A BEAUTIFUL HOME. .....AND SO MANY ANTIQUES. ....LOVED IT ALL, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE BEAR IN THE BED.....OUTSIDE MY COMFORT ZONE....LOL.....SERIOUSLY, MANY THANKS FOR SHARING WITH US. ...WISHING YOU A HAPPY NEW YEAR WITH MANY BESSINGS. .....GOD BLESS !!!
Hi Donna! :D LOL Ya the bears aren't everyone's cup of tea hahaha. Thank so much for the great comments and we hope you had a fantastic 2017 and Christmas and New Years celebrations, and we hope your 2018 is *AWESOME!* :) :) :)
Absolutely amazing. So glad to have met you earlier today. Your house is one of the best places I've ever been in. Best wishes, and look forward to watching more of your videos.
Love your home and collection...thank you for sharing. It was like a live game of hidden picture looking for items I remember seeing in your garage sale videos and looking for items I have myself. At one vanity you had some Pond's Cream white glass jars. I was recently metal detecting in the woods started finding old lead soldiers which were in an old bottle dump. Then I found 10 or so Pond's jars all different sizes and shapes and had to take them home. I know they are not super old but have such a great look. Nowadays everything comes in plain plastic containers...no style. Thanks again for the great videos.
Thanks NJ THer! :D Ya those old jars are so much nicer to look at then the junk they produce today. :) And as they age they just get more interesting in my opinion. :D If I knew more what I was doing with video editing, I would have had pop-up captions for items, but I couldn't figure out how to make the captions move along with the video, and wasn''t going to pause the video 20 times per minute to put a little caption in, so m'eh... LOL I'll try to figure that out for next year's tour. :) Hahahahaha Thanks for watching and commenting!
Somethings don't need captions...the tour was great and now people can ask about specific items and you can add additional information to later videos to answer those questions. Don't want to show all your cards at once...lol.
Just got a notification asking if id seen the house tour ..i hadnt so seeing as i was unable to sleep thought id check it out and wow loved every bit of it so many stunning things absolutely loved watching
Beautiful home.....but all I could think about was how do you manage all the dusting? Thanks for sharing.
LOL Thanks! :D
I heard there is no dust where you live
My thoughts exactly!
The dusting comments always bewilder me. Who spends that much time dusting? Lol just a quick swiffer here and there is all you need.
When you have a lot of stuff you are always moving things around and purging and getting new. So you are always cleaning a bit. Not that I would know lol.

Lovely! For me, it’s too much, but I loved seeing all your treasures ! Thank you.
Such a collection of history. ..Where's the comfy couch. Cheers.

Wow!! Beautiful house. My grandma would have been in heaven with all those treasures. She loved antiques.
A beautiful home. The chandeliers are exquisite! I love everthing, you have the perfect eye for decorating!
Your house should be in a museum, lol. It looks awesome.
Hey Lyn!! Thanks buddy!!! It's our pride and joy. :D
Thanks so much Elliemae!! Glad you enjoyed! :D
Cheers.... Cheri
Hi Cheri! Glad you enjoyed it! :) We agree!! *MORE IS MORE!* :D LOL Thanks again!
So absolutely cosy, emanates warmth.
Brilliant! Beautiful house, great taste and timeless! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks so much Tigermoon!!! :D
Beautiful home. I am a fan.i watched all your videos. You guys are great host and more entertaining than anything on TV.
So glad you enjoyed this video Lynda! :D It was one of the more challenging videos I've made..
LOL
I love the way you have displayed your treasures in your home. Like another reader commented….who does the dusting ! 👍
Your home is beautiful and your signed memorabilia collection is amazing ❤
Amazingly beautiful home and collections! So great to see you live surrounded by the things you love!
Thanks Angie!! I knew you would like this one! :D
Bargain Barons loved the tour! Thanks for sharing your home with us! ❤
WOW! Your house is stunning! Great job to you and Karen! So many beautiful things to look at. I laughed out loud when I saw the Midol in the bathroom. That's an awesome find. AND THE MAN CAVE! Wow! So cool! Thanks for showing us around!

@@BargainBarons Actually, I just boxed up the book I am sending it tomorrow. I think it is from 1897.
That's so awesome of you!!!
What an amazing collection! Thanks for sharing!
Thank Megs! Glad you enjoyed the tour! :D
It's like walking through a museum. So many wonderful things. Thank you for sharing 😍
Thanks Angella!!! :D
I love your home! It seems to have everything that the two of you love in it!

Your home is amazing, beautiful and a gorgeous refuge for all your fabulous finds! Thanks for the tour!
Awesome place you have. I love all the eye candy...love your style and videos. ..
Thanks so much Betty!
Hi Maranatha! :) Hahaha I have said to Karen that we need another home tofill as well! hahahaha.
Haha!! That would be *AWESOME!!!* .... but I doubt they know we even exist!! lol

Haha thanks Margaret! It was great to meet you. 😁😁 So happy you enjoy our little treasure hunting videos!! 😊😊
So much stuff!!
Thanks. :) Good point! hehehe
Happy New Years. Thanks for the wonderful tour. Love it. Can’t wait for summer so we can see more garage sales. Every room is wow
Thanks Ghost Fire! :D Yes I can't wait to start rummaging through people's yards again!!! Hopefully only 2-3 months to go!! :D :D :D
