Great to see that Glory is okay. She obviously really wants to fly like all your other birds. Maybe she could be taught to fly in the house with very soft mattresses on the floor. She must feel so frustrated having beautiful wings and not being able to fly. Wonderful watching the flying especially Angel.
Glory will never be able to fly. She has no lift and no breast muscles developed as a fledgling. Flight has been unfortunately robbed from her from her previous owners

That's heart breaking poor baby why do people get animals they can't take care of and destroy the animals health for their own selfishness
Parrots are not easy pets they're a commitment. They need proper diet, a lot of training, a opportunity to fly and stress or poor quality care can be a killer to them.
It's like having a highly intelligent super loud flying toddler with sharp scissors for a mouth. They're not for the faint hearted or for anyone who's not ready to make a huge commitment. Anyone wanting a parrot needs to to loads of research understand their needs, understand how important night and day cycles are, understand about hormonal times. They need to accept they're going to get bit a lot and it hurts and that birds can have mood swings where patience is needed.
Anyway at least this poor girl is with you and your flock and has someone who understands her now
I hope that ppl see how clipping wings affects a birds emotional & physical well-being. Glory wanted to fly so badly. I'm glad she is okay. ❤ Thanks to you she is really living her best life, as she should. Love watching the birds free fly & love the red couch! (my nonna used to say that if a bird poops on u, it brings u good luck)

Wow! I remember watching your videos from 2020, I used to be obsessed with macaws and always watched your videos. I used to stay up until 3 am on my iPhone 4 and I was 11 years old! I can’t believe you still post videos, I hope glory is doing well.

I grow white yarrow and I always keep the dried blossoms around for emergencies for me (cut fingers usually) and the pets (washing French bulldog faces, stiptic for cut nail, cat fight wounds,) etc. Yarrow is very strong. I only use it topically, but the pets seem to like the smell of it and it makes them more cooperative when trying to treat them. It isn't poisoness, but should be only used very low dose if used internally and animal species vary, so I just don't. It stops the bleeding, takes the pain away (amazing), is wonderfully antiseptic and speeds healing. Aloe is good too, but nothing like yarrow for first aid.
Honey is amazing 4 cuts cat scratches n so on.😊
@@user-gg6lr2lc1v Just almost completely cut a slice off the corner of my thumb including the nail with a brand new meat slicer fillet knife that was very sharp that I shouldn't have been using for other things. Lots of blood. I made a small cup of yarrow tea and soaked the finger in it. Yarrow stops the bleeding (styptic), eliminates or reduces pain (anyodyne) disinfects and speeds healing. I then bandaided the wound shut. It hurt again at night so I poured a little bentadine iodine in the bandaid in the middle of the night and by morning the pain was gone. I repeated yarrow treatments once or twice a day for a week. I am about at a week right now, and the almost completely sliced off corner of flesh has actually miraculously reattached and I can wash dishes without gloves! Honey can't do that. Soaking in the yarrow tea also washes the wound clean. It's easier with fingers than some areas where you might need to poultice. These sliced off flaps don't grow back on their own. I know. It's so amazing I am going to take a photo of it every day for the next couple of weeks to document further.

Could Glory receive an “imping” procedure? You know, where they transfer shed feathers 🪶 onto pluckers and other birds who don’t have sufficient flight feathers?
Edit to add: Also, I heard a vet on a RUclips show call hyacinths the “woe is me” bird because of their dramatic responses to the slightest of traumas.
