Warhorse was a New York Hardcore band from Long Island and Queens, NY. The members came from varying music backgrounds such as Punk, Hardcore, Death, Thrash, Progressive and Speed Metal. Although the bands run was short lived they made a mark on the local scene, gaining a sizable fan base while playing shows at a variety of venues including RAW, Castle Heights, Amnesia Rocks and the Roxy. Unfortunately, most of the audio recordings and video footage has been lost. This video is one of the only remaining recordings left. It was made at "Lyric" rehearsal studio in Garden City Park, Long island in early 1995. It was not mixed professionally and was basically a one take of each song on the set list. It was transferred from an old cassette tape so the sound was of poor quality with flubs, tape hiss and uneven instrument audio levels. A special thank you goes out to Nick Haines for cleaning up the sound as best as possible. All photos, logos and flyers in this video are what is left of the Warhorse legacy. Some logos have been updated, and or recreated from left over sketches. If you enjoy the video please pass it on to other like minded people who enjoy fast, abrasive and thought provoking music.

Great Logos! I think i caught a glimpse of my white pants in one picture! Still with you after all these years! Feels like yesterday hanging out at on the side of the stage watching the pit and the band. Great job bringing Warhorse back to life. XO miss those days!

Great work putting this together, Rob. Coincidentally, I did a youtube search for Warhorse about 2 months ago - what are the odds! Good times and hard nostalgia. Only tough part was burning a 1/4 tank of gas waiting for Lenny to come out of his house each night. Hard RIP Neil....
