I totally agree. I do believe $NU will be a long term multibagger. I do believe there will be short term headwinds but it’s not like management are idiots. Their CEO is literally a genius just like Marcos Galperin. They are having major multiple contraction. Their ROE and Book value growth is absolutely crazy. I am also very bullish on LATAM narket
Nu Holding price to book pb is 7.5 which is crazy expensive for any financial company it is bank or Fintech. It gets valuation generally around pb 3. So i am thinking what will happen if the market starts giving normal pb for this, this stock could go down 50% even from this point at the same financial metric
Check growth rates man. It’s not like earning doesn’t matter for financial stocks. Ultimately all stocks need to show profits. Having a huge balance sheet itself doesn’t mean much.
Thx for covering NU, one of, if not the fastest growing (in terms of revenues & EPS) fintech listed in a major US exchange. I am in the red but have strong conviction in Nu Holdings aka Nubank.
I got in on your last video on NU. This was at 5 when your vid was posted 2 years ago averaged down to 3 80 made good money, then the panic on the banking with banks going belly up in USA.... still made money but............Will the pull back come below 8 again... Maybe?
I started adding to my position when the price got down near $14. That made the position bigger and I'm hesitant to add because of that, but I feel like I probably should, at this price.
Excellent! I'm looking at adding a few positions to something tomorrow, but i may just wait to see how much more it dips, this video just solidified that. Thank you Neil.
I own both of them, loads of growth potential…..are you concerned about the high inflation in Brasil? Edit: I asked the question before watching the video, you are covering it 😊👍🏼
@@CouchInvestorCould it make a difference if they had dividends? (as IIUC is the case for dividends from an Irish ETF vs US-based, with different tax rate for dividends) Also recently my tax consultant told me to reconsider my direct investment in US stocks and ETFs as "in case sth happened" my family would need to pay US inheritance tax. It's not sth that anyone plans, but 40% vs 0% makes a big difference... I then learnt that USA has treaties with some countries allowing citizens to avoid taxation, but it's not the case for immigrants to such countries (like myself), so I'll definitely need to reconsider some of my investments and derisk. At least for ETFs there are some good Irish ones (like EQQQ). In the case of Meli & Nu, which I both own, I thought the investment may be safe, but this question made me wonder if it's really the case... I bought them from NYSE/NASDAQ.
@@Timo-qb1gf I think in event of your death usa will hold portion of your unrealized profits. Quite large portion actually. I'm not sure if this applies to every company on nyse market or american ones only. You can go around this by investing in eur based based assets since then it's technocally not american anymore. If you don't have kids or you don't plan to die, then maybe some people wouldn't care. As a finnish investor i plan to invest in usd and later in life reallocate my assets to eur based etfs like sp500. That said i'm really a newbie in investing, please research the matter on yourself.
What were you expecting for Rocketlab? That it will reach the sun? Some will sell before it will continue the run. The growth wasn't sustainable. Animal spirits in play.
Crash? RKLB was at $23 five business days ago. If you make investment decisions based on that sort of time period, I recommend buying an ETF and not touching it instead.
Trump said if the BRICS or any nation in it tries to devalue the dollar and move it from GRC then they would face 100% tariffs in US selling. I don’t know the extent of Brazilian imports to the US but I’m sure it will do something detrimental to the Brazilian economy. Buffet probably knows this very well and he got out before 2025 policies go into effect.
@CouchInvestor No, you sold a successful, profitable revenue growth machine company, NU, instead of a decade-long failing company, fired ceo, zero foundry cable maker, intel....
Sometimes we learn more about a company after we sell, or something changes materially. A past position has no impact on the value of shares we buy today. If we find the company a great value at $12, we should buy, even if it's hard to accept that we missed out on profits by not holding originally.
I'm selling the PUTS on NU, great company. I live in Mexico, so I'm NU user. They are doing great!
Selling puts is probably the way to go with this one
Thanks. Will defo dig deeper on this one!

Probably SoFi just because its a small company (market cap wise) but I'd by both

Maybe a stupid question but as a European would it be better to buy Nu through NYSE or from Germany? I.e. Dollars or euros for a Brazilian company?
can u tell me what diff it makes ?
sorry i am noob investing from germany
I buy in USD. I don't think it makes a difference tbh
