I have wanted the Eames House Bird for years. I remember saving the HM page in my favorites years and years ago, hoping to one day buy it. Funny, it’s still one of my browser favorites to this day. When I originally saved it, I couldn’t imagine the day I would have $410 available to spend on something like a wooden bird. Now that I do have the money, I talk myself out of purchasing it every few months when I pull it up. Funny how that works. Anyway, man, great video and great taste you have. Cheers.
The website where I bought mine is called endclothing.com they sell authentic Vitra items! I got both birds and a bunch of my Girard wooden dolls from there! Check them out! Yeah its a boat load to spend on a painted bird but they are super rad!
@@CraigRoccanova Did you find there were additional duties and taxes when ordering from this site? Interested in using them but they indicate on their site they ship the order with duties collected at delivery. Curious what was your experience.
I just received one of these as a birthday gift and I absolutely love it. The feet are a little spikey though so I put 2 little rubber tips on the ends 😁
Thanks for this video. I’ve been wanting the walnut bird and because of your video I had to have it. I bought a white knock off on Amazon. It looks so cheap. Cheap cheap. So I’m now waiting for the walnut bird to arrive.
Wow some how you like this bird and today walking in Germany looking for a piece to pop my living room I walked in a store and I saw the elephants they have there not in walnut color then I saw that bird and I didn’t knew anything about it I like it the price for the walnut is 250Euros I stop for a moment I say I’ll get it and I own one now, the lady said something about authenticity I didn’t get it I said danke and left come here Now I get courios about and is actually something some how special, so now I don’t regret the money spent.
Great video thanks 🦅

That's so awesome! Congrats on your new bird!
Does Charles Perdew and his family get credit as he is the creator of the bird?
