Individual Thought Patterns, Swallowed In Black, Human, A Vision of Misery, The Fragile Art of Existence.. so many great album enhanced by his bass work!
Don't forget Visions from the Spiral Generator. One of my favorites!
gringochucha That album is a prog metal masterpiece and I'm glad someone else recognises it!
And human
@@fullmetalguy8357 Hell yeah. And Steve's playing really shines on it. Cheers!
I don't know of a finer bassist. Dude is a legend and and doesn't get nearly enough credit.
What a dude. Sincere, talented and a lover of the wholesome life. Wish more were like him!
I love how normal he is. What a legend. Him and Gene are probably the 2 nicest guys in metal.
A true metal farmer and a living legend!!!
Steve Digiorgio is an absolute legend. He’s been a huge influence on my bass playing. Seems a nice guy too. Keep playing the bass and feeding them damn chickens Steve.
Liked him in Sadus. The good person is Steve di Giorgio if much care for animals. Respect!
Sadus is where Steve truly belongs, because they let him play the way he wants, and his bass work fits the brutal nature of Sadus' thrash better
@@thedjentleman1662 yeah, I must admit I am disappointed with his lacking presence in Testament.. I even think Greg got more "spotlight" basslines, before he was kicked out.
Cats, Dogs and all other critters are the best! They are what keep me alive through all my struggles(addiction, depression, anxiety etc.) I'm 52 and still fighting!
I'm 51 and i feel ya........working out and eating better...plus beating sleep apnea and sleeping better is/was key for me. Keep on fighting...you're not alone in this!
keep up the good work mate!
Steve's backyard's backyard is some sweet, historic scenery! Cool guy. Love the doberman!
Hello Neighbor, I live in Brentwood. Thanks for sharing, awesome to see how down to earth you are.
that 6 string fretless Ibanez BTB just chillin' in the back....
It's like... calling my name..
And the Resonator bass too 😧
Guess you missed the one on the right.
Best bass player 🙌 from Sadus to Death ... next level 💯 👌
Cool to see the "other" side of a musician (a.k.a. master-class bassist). When you get to the core of most everything we are much more similar than we are different. Enjoying early mornings, family, coffee and walking the doggies. Makes me like him even more. Digiorgio lives with and is an animal of a musician. Thanks for sharing. OVER THE WALL !!
i met him in Malmö,Sweden where i live, on a Testament concert. After the concert he was hanging outside together with his good friend Gene Hoglan. Steve is a very nice dude and he speaks fluently spanish. We had a nice conversation. A good memory. A very good bassist playing with one of my top 5 metal bands TESTAMENT !
Man I wish you did atleast 1 more DEATH Album with this line up, You, Chuck, James MURPHY, Gene Hoglan. That would be so sick. Man I miss you you playing bass in DEATH. R.I.P. CHUCK!
0:14 casa di Giorgio! Great! Cheers from Italy !!!
Stay strong Italy
#FuckCovid-19
A really humble human being..talented and down to earth
Love every album Steve's been on or lent his influence to! Sadus, Death, Testament, Control Denied, Iced Earth, and I'm sure that I've forgotten others.
Apparently _Autopsy,_ _Control Denied,_ _Obituary_ *annnd* fucking _Megadeth_ now! 🤣
Rock on bro, great taste and welcome to the future!😋
Testament + Death = EPIC!
dont forget sadas!
@brapamaldi sad ass!!! 😅😂🤣
Steve, one of the most bad ass musicians and i love him talking about his chickens!
Man Steve is one seriously chill dude ! Such and epic bassist, love virtually everything he has ever done !!!
One of my favorite bass players. Cool video.
cannot believe how soft spoken he is. him and alex are the best examples of guys whose voices look nothing like their faces, either. (i like how the two of them are both cat guys, too: there's just... something precious about guys who like cats)
Steve Digiorgio is a living legend. One of best bass player in tre world. Not only in the Metal scene. Respect to this true man.
This the daily life of the BEST metal bassist in metal history...simply man nothing fake...Steve you re the best...keep on
One of the best bass players of all time in metal music. Other than that, an interesting and normal person. Steve, greetings from Poland! I wish you health, health and you will please everyone with your talent! Regards!
Chickens: *eating*
Background: *some savage thrash metal going on*
I always been a fan of Steve works...with Sadus, Death, Testament...Etc...and always say that besides been one of the greatest bassist in Metal ...he is also a great human being...
These episodes are Killer🤘Testament get even better Saw them February 8 in Oslo Norway🤘
I guess you can say they're like a fine wine, they got better with age, you can't say that about a lot of bands. So far they haven't LAYED AND EGG yet when it comes releasing new albums 😁
@@omie1 True 🤘
I started playing bass when i was about 13 or 14. Steve Di Giorgio was one of my first influences, along with John Paul Jones. But after watching this, now i like him as a person as well. An incredible bass player, and an animal lover. What a cool dude. 👍
Human is my favorite Death album thanks in large part to Steve's bass playing. He is a great addition to the already talented lineup Testament currently has. Death forever/ Testament forever!!!
The original version of Human sucked because the drums and bass were mixed horrible low but I'm glad that they rectified their mistakes in the remastered version.
Steve Rules 🤘🎸
This is a Real Treat. I had the opportunity to open for Sadus with Voracious in Puerto Rico and it was one of the Highlights of my life. My Favorite Bass Player and A Humble Legend.
When was that? And where? I live there..
En el 2007, en Santurce frente al Centro de Bellas Artes.
One of the best Bass players in metal and one of the nicest humble guy youll ever meet period.
That was awesome to hear how normal Steve is.
Why would you assume he wasn't "normal"?
@@vio2112 , first we must define the word "normal".
The whole band is just cool people.
Pretty much the best dude ever! 🤘
his work on Soen first album is amazing
Fresh eggs are heaven compared to store bought eggs! Most people have no idea that there is a difference.
I think we do, outside the U.S. people do.
Yep all poison in our Jeff Bezos/Bill Gates controlled food.
Living legend
before i saw this video; Me: wish i could play like Di Giorgio, later, mm i want to be a farmer like Steve Di Giorgio, he`s awesome!!
the soundtrack of this mini documentary rocks 🤘
Very down to earth, bad ass bassist! Been following since Sadus days.
STEVE D!!!! This man knows metal because he IS metal!!
Man those areas are absolutely beautiful!
I dig these segments! Nuclear Blast should do this with more bands. Always cool to get more insight and perspective of these awesome musicians. Love it!
Beautiful life and beautiful mindset! Thanks for the upload, I really enjoyed that.
This was a great series. Would love to see more content like this!
Great footages! Very cool, congrats to the director.
And, of course, I'm looking forward to this new album!
What a legend.
Been a huge TestAmenT fan since 1988 in highschool. Could not think of a better line up than right now... Steve brings a great foundation along with Gene.... Funny to listen to him talk, and in Highschool al the adults were against the "Satanists in Heavy Metal".... He has a teacup Chahuahua.......... real down to earth guy.... great vid.
Love that jacket. Awesome Norse symbols.
I first heard him on Swallowed In Black when it came out in the early 90’s. His playing turned my shit upside down. Definitely one of first high level bassists in extreme metal who elevated the art form...
What an awesome insight into private homebase with this wonderful garden !
Big achievement !
Steve is such a bass God! Too bad he is so underrated.
Underated??? Who the fuck thinks that??!!!!
@@sightlesswisdom2559 Ignorant mainstreamers, that's who. The rest of us know what's up
@@sightlesswisdom2559 Exactly. NO ONE thinks that. I saw someone the other day try to say Dave Lomabardo is underrated as a drummer. I was like, um...no...
Off to listen to Autopsy - Severed Survival. My favorite of Steve's rather lengthy discography :)
@Nuclear Blast Recors , thanks for that skal 🍺🎸🤘, this vclip demonstrate that metall bands / fans/listener are humans, keep doing that.very appreciated.
The bass legend. That was fun to watch, nice areas!
i love this man
What a cool cat!
Legend! And what a wonderful place to live.
Right on down to earth!
I love your life style Steve . Blessed 🤘🎸
Great dude. I’d love to hang with Steve. Rip some tubes.
They never had a better bass player than Steve. Im not kidding when i say that after Chuck died, Steve needed someone to play with really. I think hes found that with testament.
Casa di Giorgio....EPICO!!!
AWESOMEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
Legend!
Legend
cool seriessss!!!!!!
You're my inspiration. Great vid. Your life balance is impressive. I only do fretless. I've ordered your signature bass. I've always thought Metal culture is basically similar to hippie culture. Yeah you're living the life.
I love his life
Testament is Awesome!
The best bassist ever.
Τι παλικαρι εισαι εσυ ρεεε!!..Great motivation, great stuff!! \m/
The Hippie of Doom! \m/
What a cool dude!!!! I've followed him since he was with Sadus back in 1990. What an amazing bassist! He is my favorite metal bassist.
When I encourage bassists who refuse to learn to play with their fingers, I show them a video of Steve Di Giorgio, Geddy Lee, or Les Claypool. Steve is better than Cliff Burton, but Cliff was a pioneer and Steve took the bass to more extreme levels.
Living Legend.
He seems to be a super down to earth kinda guy
What a lovely man. Normal. Down with him so much.
What a nice and humble human!
Very cool!
Good content, nice to see.
I love Steve ❤
Metal fan pilgrimage to Antioch to find Steve DiGiorgio walking his dog
A guy that came on late in my playing and moved in to my top five players of all time replacing a guy not named Steve, Geddy, Billy , or Cliff...or Geezer, yeah my top six that's right. Killer player and got me to buy a fretless just saw him live a couple of weeks ago and didn't disappoint,
Yeah
my fav metal bsssist .
Gotta love Steve Di Giorgio!!! Plays death metal, sports a somehow scary vibe, but is actually the opposite - loves chickens and has chihuahua!!! 😄
One of the best. Fuck, I love this guy!
Those chickens are sick bra 🤟💀
Good stuff
Those places are perfect for a Testament music video
He's a good human.
Digiorgio is the man
I grew up in that area. Not Antioch, but West Pittsburg. I loved growing up around there, but I'm glad that I don't live in California anymore.
Adorable Steve
Real cool dude. Seriously.
With that cat, kind like metal version Godfather.
This guy is great
Que lindo lugar donde vive
Defretting the spirit.
